“My fur baby did so well on his stay. Nikki sent plenty of pictures and videos to help calm my anxiety of leaving him. This was the first time I ever left my dog with someone else and Nikki made the process so easy. I already plan to use her for all my dog sitting needs!”

“Zadok and his family were excellent sitters for my cat Rango. We only had him for a few months so sending him off was quite a challenge especially with not knowing who we were sending him to. Zadok quickly made us feel comfortable and communicated every step of the way prior to the boarding, during the boarding and even after. He truly does have a heart for the pets he keeps and would highly recommend him to anyone needing sitting services. His place is neat and clean and he is truly accommodating to the needs of the pets he keeps.”

“This is our second time having Tuxedo stay with Megan., and our experience this time was just as good as the last! She is communicative and flexible and takes such good care of Tuxedo!”

“TEN OUT OF FREAKING TEN. Was my first time boarding my baby and I was super nervous but she made the entire experience the best for both of us(me and my pup)! Daily/ hourly updates with pictures and videos was a huge plus! In what she sent you could tell he was having a good time and very relaxed! Very loving home! I could feel she wanted to cater to him to him because she asked about what he likes, dislikes, routines & etc before even booking. If you are looking for someone who will love your dog and not just watch them she is who you NEED to book with! Will now be my go!”

“Ben loved Siennas home! I was a little worried as this was only our second time leaving him with someone and he is a solid 75 pound, hyper puppy (9 months), but he loved her house and her black lab Sully! Her family was so sweet to Ben and he got to meet some chickens! Highly recommend Sienna for a safe loving place for your pet to stay!”

“Alexis and John took great care of my boys (both are Dachshunds). Alexis sent daily photos and kept in contact the whole time. This was our first time boarding them with a service like Rover, so I was pretty nervous since one of our boys has IVDD and the other had not been boarded in at least four years. They received their joint medicine and got plenty of cuddles. I would not hesitate to use them again.”

“Rachel watched my boy for a few days, and kept me informed consistently on his stay there. She sent me pictures and and we stayed in communication with one another with any concerns or questions. I highly recommend her, your pet will be lovingly taken care of!”

“A couple so kind and doting. Beautiful homey environment with an amazing backyard to top off the attention given to our pup. And finally, the best thunder buddies, when our pup, who is terrified of thunder, needed some comfort. Highly recommend!”

“This was our longest trip away from the pups and under Kim's care we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. She has done a great job with them and kept us updated on how they were with photos from day to day. She ensured the pups were loved and happy for the entirety of the 12 day visit. I highly recommend Kim as a Rover contact to keep. Will definitely check availability again for any trips in the future.”

“Kaitlyn was great!! As this was my first time leaving my dog with someone other than family she made the experience worry free and I’m glad my dog was well behaved. I would definitely book with her again.”

“Annabel did a wonderful job watching our dog for a weekend. We found her on short notice and she was responsive and put us at ease with setting up a meet and greet to make sure our dogs got along. She sent frequent updates that helped us know our pup was having a blast. We picked up a happy and sleepy dog, who she treated as her own. I would definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life different sizes and breeds. I have experience in training puppies as well as taking care of elderly dogs. I take time to understand each dog’s personality, routine, and needs, so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I wanted to spend the extra time I have taking care of animals. I’m working only a few days a week I consistently have Monday- Thursday available typically all day. I currently have no pets of my own. If your fur baby comes to my home I have a fenced in yard, extra dog treats and toys as well as a dog bed that gets washed after every furbaby that visits. I will stick to any routine that you have for your dog *Please Note*I do not have a crate and one will need to be provided if pet is crate trained*. *Please Note* If you have a cat their litter box as well as litter will need to be provided if needed.* If I am taking care of your furbaby in your home I will follow the schedule you have them on.
About: I’ve been known to snuggle on the floor with every dog who isn’t able to be on the furniture, ha! I truly just love dogs (and cats!) and wouldn’t be satisfied without making yours feel special and loved while you are away. I currently work full-time Monday-Friday. (Friday is a short-day) I can house sit pretty much any day of the week, but the days I work I will be gone for 8 hours. (But I work downtown, so if you book with me there I can leave for lunch breaks!) I’m happy to provide walks and playtime before and after work.. and extra on my days off! When at a client’s home I am sure to follow all of the rules pertaining to your pet and everything else! I care for each home like I would an honored guest/loved one. I am also able to bring your pet to my apartment (depending on breed unfortunately) if that is something you’d prefer and they’d be comfortable with :)

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wilsons Landing home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wilsons Landing.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Wilsons Landing sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
