About: WE'VE MOVED! Same great care, new location featuring a larger home and more land to play :) We are an active family with 3 children (and one on the way) who love to play outside, take long walks, and even run with our dog. Animals are well-loved in our home and welcome on the furniture. I would love to include your pet in any exercise needs as well! We are available for walking pets before 8 am and after 4:30 p.m. every day. I can also do mid-day drop-ins if located in the Wausau area (best if northeast side of Wausau as I work in the Industrial park or near Merrill since my husband works there). We have a 3500+ sq foot house and 10 wooded acres, so there is plenty of room for more pets to house overnight. My kids absolutely love playing ball and walking the dog, too! We have an energetic black lab who loves to play. I believe in being active and playing as much as possible with my family (but am totally ok watching dogs who love to nap :) ).

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and have also cared for dogs throughout different parts of my life, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities—from playful and energetic to shy and independent. Animals have always been a huge part of my world, and I truly love giving them the attention, patience, and care they deserve. 🐾 I currently work full time with a set schedule of Mon 7:45-5, Tues 7:45-5, Wed 6:45-5, Thurs 6:45-5, and Fri 7:45-noon. About: Hello! My name is Ella, and I recently moved back to Wausau after graduating from college in Montana. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Natural Horsemanship, a horse-training method focused on understanding animal behavior and building a relationship based on communication and trust. My degree also included coursework in animal health, animal husbandry, and classes taught by both large- and small-animal veterinarians. My Fiancé, Cooper, also earned a degree in Natural Horsemanship with a minor in ranch management. Like me, he has spent much of his life around animals and is comfortable caring for a variety of pets and following specific care instructions. I grew up on a hobby farm and have had horses nearly my entire life. Dogs have always been part of the family, too—we’ve had everything from Labs and bird dogs to little Jack Russells! I currently have an energetic Blue Heeler who loves joining me on horseback rides and hikes. I’ve also grown up caring for a wide variety of animals, including parrots, dogs, cats, horses, fish, and even a squirrel! About: I live in the country so can go for long walks, swim in pond . . Will be treated as part of the family and spoiled rotten. currently work during the week, so weekends are my main focus for pet care. However, I am also open to weekday bookings if you’re comfortable with your furry friend being home alone for up to 6 hours during the day. When I’m home, they will receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and care! I want every pet to feel safe, happy, and right at home. I have plenty of open space for your dog to enjoy, along with access to beautiful walking trails through the woods, around the pond, and along a quiet country road. Please note that my yard is not fenced in, so dogs will need to be secured on a tie-out when outside near the house. Your dog’s safety is my priority, and they will never be left outside unattended. I will always be outside with them. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where your dog feels right at home!
About: I’ve had two dogs growing up, a mini boxer and a French bulldog. I’ve cared for them all my life. I have bathed, walked, fed, and gave them so much love. We got our Puppy when I was 14, so I have a lot of experience caring for puppies as well. I didn’t grow up in a home with cats, but I love them too. I’ve had lots of experience cat sitting and get along with them well too! I am a masters student at UW-Stevens Point, in the Natural Resources department. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
