Whether you’re stuck at the office, need to cart the kiddos around, or just don’t have the energy, I am available for after work walks any day of the week. I try to make every walk an adventure! I am more flexible on hours on the weekends and holidays. No in-home services are offered at this time. All dog walks will take place in your neighborhood, unless otherwise specified. I follow directions easily for entry/exit if you’re not home.
About: I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was very young. I’ve watched friends pets when they go out of town and I currently have my own cats and a dog! In my previous years, I’ve owned a hobby farm with various types of animals, such as ducks, geese, three dogs, one cat, two bunnies and chickens as well as some birds! Currently, I just own one dog named “Bean”. She is my entire world and my best friend. I understand the importance of the little details when it comes to drop in visits and dog walking. About: I worked at a dog daycare and boarding place for 2 years. I have looked over and cared for puppies to senior dogs including meds and special care such as epilepsy, injuries, aggression, and much more. I also have trained my own dogs and many friends dogs. I trained my aussie in agility and my old lab in dock diving and duck hunting. I love all dogs regardless of background, breed, size, and shape. I have also worked with delivering and the aftercare of brand new puppies! I recently got laid off, so I have plenty of free time for yours and my pet! I have a high energy Australian Shepherd, so proper dog care takes up a lot of my time! I will always put your pup first and make sure he/she is happy, healthy, and loving his/her vacation from everyday life. I usually take my own on a walk every morning and would be so excited to bring a new friend with around the neighborhood. I also like to go over training and give lots of love and high-quality treats!

About: I live in the country so can go for long walks, swim in pond . . Will be treated as part of the family and spoiled rotten. Right now I’m still working during the week. I’m looking more at weekends. I can do during the week if your comfortable them being home alone for 6 hours a day. I have a lot of open area , I also have a very friendly dog that loves to have a playmate or just someone to share his treats with. He is very gentle with puppies and older laid back dogs.
About: WE'VE MOVED! Same great care, new location featuring a larger home and more land to play :) We are an active family with 3 children (and one on the way) who love to play outside, take long walks, and even run with our dog. Animals are well-loved in our home and welcome on the furniture. I would love to include your pet in any exercise needs as well! We are available for walking pets before 8 am and after 4:30 p.m. every day. I can also do mid-day drop-ins if located in the Wausau area (best if northeast side of Wausau as I work in the Industrial park or near Merrill since my husband works there). We have a 3500+ sq foot house and 10 wooded acres, so there is plenty of room for more pets to house overnight. My kids absolutely love playing ball and walking the dog, too! We have an energetic black lab who loves to play. I believe in being active and playing as much as possible with my family (but am totally ok watching dogs who love to nap :) ).

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
