About: Hi! I’m a senior college student coming home for the summer from the Birnamwood area and I’m more than happy to drive to the Antigo, Weston, or Wausau areas! I’ll be updating my schedule frequently throughout the summer, but as of right now I’m available all weekdays and Saturday mornings. I have experience working with a wide variety of animals, ranging from horses — which I’ve ridden and owned since I was 3 years old — to dogs and cats that I’ve had my whole life. I’m currently on my third German Shepherd puppy at home, so I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs, puppy care, and animals of all personalities! I love spending time with animals and would love the opportunity to help care for your pets this summer! I currently only plan to work minimal hours a week in Antigo this summer, and I will start that up in June. Until then I’m free most days! Prefer mornings but can making afternoons and evenings work if needed! I’m more than willing to figure out what works for you! I am currently not able to board pups right now! But am happy to come house sit or come check in your animals at your home in setting they’re comfy in!
About: We've been taking care of select dogs for many years for friends and family, knowing that dog owners tend to worry about their pets when they're away and want someone who understands that and will care for their pets as they would. we've always had dogs until recently, I also photograph dogs for fun. We often board a dog who has seizures and requires medication and have watched other unusual dogs including puppies and dogs still healing from surgery. For many years we volunteered at the local humane society. We have a fenced in yard that our late beagle mix of 18 years regularly tried to escape and repeatedly failed. Dogs in our home are considered guests and are treated as such. I currently work from home, so letting dogs out regularly and giving regular attention is no problem at all. I'm done with work in the afternoon which leaves me plenty of time to get dogs out for exercise and socializing. Dorothy, my wife, also has plenty of daytime open for play time and extra loving. I work from home and regularly take play breaks, Dorothy, my wife is home most days and offers lots of love. We try to get to the dog park now and then on the weekends. We have a modest fenced in back yard with a wooded lot behind us, I walk dogs regularly in several areas. We keep also keep a toybox full of dog toys :-)
“Our dog had a seizure in his kennel before Nicole arrived for her visit. Nicole immediately let us know and did a great job of cleaning up. She was able to extend her stay to make sure our dog was OK before she left. This was very comforting to our dog and ourselves.”

About: We are an active family with 3 children (and one on the way) who love to play outside, take long walks, and even run with our dog. Animals are well-loved in our home and welcome on the furniture. I would love to include your pet in any exercise needs as well! We are available for walking pets before 8 am and after 4:30 p.m. every day. I can also do mid-day drop-ins if located in the Wausau area (best if northeast side of Wausau as I work in the Industrial park or near Merrill since my husband works there). We have a 2000 sq foot house, so there is plenty of room for more pets to house overnight. My kids absolutely love playing ball and walking the dog, too! We have an energetic black lab who loves to play. I believe in being active and playing as much as possible with my family (but am totally ok watching dogs who love to nap :) ).
“Thank you so much for making sure Bubz gets out to poop and pee! We are so thankful to have found you. He instantly fell in love with Julia. We would recommend her to anyone we know.”

“Emily was AMAZING! It was my first time using Rover and leaving my babies at home and she put me at ease instantly. Her communication was 10/10 and I loved the update photos during her visits. I will absolutely be using Emily for future visits!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, and ferrets since I was very young. I’m a civil engineer, but I love spending time with and taking care of animals more than anything! I take care of my friends’ and family’s pets all the time! I have a husky mix named Nirvana and a cat named Murphy. My english springer spaniel, Bowie, passed away last year from cancer. I’m experienced with walking dogs that are very strong and pull hard so you don’t have to worry about that being an issue! I’d be honored to be chosen to take care of your pet; I know how much my pets mean to me and I’ll make sure to take care of your pets as if they were my own! I currently don’t have a job, so I’m available to help take care of your pets whenever needed! I’m fine with early morning or late night care, and I can stop by as many times as needed! I’m willing and able to do anything for your pets at your home! My dog is slightly reactive so unfortunately I won’t be able to provide services at my own home.
“Lindsey was awesome once again! Our dog Ellie was being a little shy/timid this time but Lindsey sent us updates along the way and seemed to have won Ellie over by the end of the stay.”
