About: We've been taking care of select dogs for many years for friends and family, knowing that dog owners tend to worry about their pets when they're away and want someone who understands that and will care for their pets as they would. we've always had dogs until recently, I also photograph dogs for fun. We often board a dog who has seizures and requires medication and have watched other unusual dogs including puppies and dogs still healing from surgery. For many years we volunteered at the local humane society. We have a fenced in yard that our late beagle mix of 18 years regularly tried to escape and repeatedly failed. Dogs in our home are considered guests and are treated as such. I currently work from home, so letting dogs out regularly and giving regular attention is no problem at all. I'm done with work in the afternoon which leaves me plenty of time to get dogs out for exercise and socializing. Dorothy, my wife, also has plenty of daytime open for play time and extra loving. I work from home and regularly take play breaks, Dorothy, my wife is home most days and offers lots of love. We try to get to the dog park now and then on the weekends. We have a modest fenced in back yard with a wooded lot behind us, I walk dogs regularly in several areas. We keep also keep a toybox full of dog toys :-)

About: I've taking care of dog for a year plus now. My friends and family trust and relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and have their pets stay overnight at my house. My house is especially a good environment for dog because my yard is fenced and the dog have their own furniture and their own room. I'm currently a stay at home dog mom and a bake at home so I have plenty of time to play and walk your pet which I love doing. My yard is fenced and I have a friendly dog to keep your dog company while he/she is here. I have plenty of toys and treats available for the dogs as well.

Please provide the following for your friends before you leave them with us for their vacation: A crate. We understand that your dogs will need some time to themselves, so we always crate inside at night. This way you can sleep soundly knowing your dogs are safe, and they won't get in trouble while we're asleep. Your dog will feel more comfortable in his own crate. You can also bring a small blanket, bed or maybe one of your shirts that we can put in their crate for her/him. Food. Please provide an adequate amount of food that your dog normally eats. Please bring the kind of food your dog is used to eating, and let us know how much and how often your pupper eats. Toys, treats, a bed, leash, collar, harness etc. We can provide some of these things if you don't have them but if you have them, please bring it. Your happy dog, and peace of mind knowing that your dog might just be having a better vacation than you! Pet care fits naturally into my day-to-day life because I genuinely enjoy being around animals and making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I currently don’t have a full-time job, which means I’m extremely flexible and available—perfect for dogs who need extra attention, consistency, or a customized schedule. I currently have an obedience trained Catahoula Leopard Cur whom I’ve been working with since puppyhood. I’ve boarded and have done drop in pet sitting since age ten. I’ve bred and trained both domestic and working dogs, and have an advanced understanding of dog body language and behavior signs to help the dog communicate. I’ve had years of experience with many different breeds of dogs from terriers, hounds, bulldogs, mastiffs, golden retrievers, doodles, and many more. I’m currently working part time jobs with flexible hours, allowing me to arrange my schedule in a way that suits your needs. A typical day includes people being home almost 24/7, typically no more than 4 hours go by with my dog being alone. I am able to do drop ins when needed, and can work around most requests. I have an unfenced 2.5 acre yard attached to a 80 acre farm. My dogs are allowed to run freely with supervision in the yard. No current barn animals present besides cats and the two indoor dogs. I am also able to provide a small enclosed area to play, with prior notice, and can use different haltering methods to ensure your furry friend will remain in a safe controlled area. In your home I am able to provide any life style you give your dog, whether that be free roaming or supervised on-leash outside time, or any other way to keep your pet safe. I’m always open to different ways to care for dogs because I understand each dog has different needs.

About: I have owned horses and dogs my whole life and have a love for animals. I have been watching family friend’s dogs for years and I wanted to get more into pet sitting/walking! I also volunteered at the humane society all throughout college so I have a lot of experience with cats of all personalities as well as dogs that may be shy or have triggers. I currently work from home 3 out of the 5 days which makes it easy for me to pet sit during the week and ensuring full care!! I also work 7 am to 3:15 pm so I have all afternoon to do any dog walks and check ins! At my home I have room for a crate if needed. About: I love big dogs, especially horses. I grew up taking in all the stray animals that were dumped on our road and finding homes for them. Being around any animal is my happy/safe place.
