About: We've been taking care of select dogs for many years for friends and family, knowing that dog owners tend to worry about their pets when they're away and want someone who understands that and will care for their pets as they would. we've always had dogs until recently, I also photograph dogs for fun. We often board a dog who has seizures and requires medication and have watched other unusual dogs including puppies and dogs still healing from surgery. For many years we volunteered at the local humane society. We have a fenced in yard that our late beagle mix of 18 years regularly tried to escape and repeatedly failed. Dogs in our home are considered guests and are treated as such. I currently work from home, so letting dogs out regularly and giving regular attention is no problem at all. I'm done with work in the afternoon which leaves me plenty of time to get dogs out for exercise and socializing. Dorothy, my wife, also has plenty of daytime open for play time and extra loving. I work from home and regularly take play breaks, Dorothy, my wife is home most days and offers lots of love. We try to get to the dog park now and then on the weekends. We have a modest fenced in back yard with a wooded lot behind us, I walk dogs regularly in several areas. We keep also keep a toybox full of dog toys :-)

About: I've taking care of dog for a year plus now. My friends and family trust and relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and have their pets stay overnight at my house. My house is especially a good environment for dog because my yard is fenced and the dog have their own furniture and their own room. I'm currently a stay at home dog mom and a bake at home so I have plenty of time to play and walk your pet which I love doing. My yard is fenced and I have a friendly dog to keep your dog company while he/she is here. I have plenty of toys and treats available for the dogs as well.

About: I have owned horses and dogs my whole life and have a love for animals. I have been watching family friend’s dogs for years and I wanted to get more into pet sitting/walking! I also volunteered at the humane society all throughout college so I have a lot of experience with cats of all personalities as well as dogs that may be shy or have triggers. Please provide the following for your friends before you leave them with us for their vacation: A crate. We understand that your dogs will need some time to themselves, so we always crate inside at night. This way you can sleep soundly knowing your dogs are safe, and they won't get in trouble while we're asleep. Your dog will feel more comfortable in his own crate. You can also bring a small blanket, bed or maybe one of your shirts that we can put in their crate for her/him. Food. Please provide an adequate amount of food that your dog normally eats. Please bring the kind of food your dog is used to eating, and let us know how much and how often your pupper eats. Toys, treats, a bed, leash, collar, harness etc. We can provide some of these things if you don't have them but if you have them, please bring it. Your happy dog, and peace of mind knowing that your dog might just be having a better vacation than you! About: I’ve always loved animals of all shapes and sizes, and got my pup, Murphy about 3 years ago. Although he’s the family dog I was the main caretaker for him and as a puppy taught him basic commands as well as house trained him. I don’t have much personal experience with cats, however, my grandparents had a few growing up and I always enjoyed simply admiring them or playing with them every time I visited. I enjoy walks with my boyfriend on local trails and around the neighborhood, so the addition of your pet would be no problem at all! If needed, my apartment is pet friendly, I have no kids, and like to keep my space tidy which makes for a versatile space for all needs. I understand that routine is important and would love to help make that easier for the days where it might not be possible. I also hugely value respect in all aspects whether it’s time, space, overall treatment towards another, etc. I think that’s a crucial way to make not only you as a pet owner feel safe but your pet as well.
About: Hello all! I have been on Rover for almost 7 years now and have loved every minute of it! Rover is basically a second job to me because I am so booked with furry clients! I do work full time at a hospital 35 minutes from home (3 12’s a week). This means my availability will be slim, but please still shoot me a message to see if we can make something work, even if it’s a doggy play date! I know how busy life gets, but I promise to love your furry friends as I love mine! I know the importance of taking care of a dog, because it is such a huge responsibility, being a dog owner myself. As busy people, we have family, friends, and social life. Whereas dogs only have us. They deserve all of the time, love, and affection that we can give them. All dogs deserve to be loved and taken care of properly, and that is something that not all people can do! That is why I am here to help. I do better with drop in visits and dog walking at this moment. Occasionally, a weekend spent in the comfort of the pup’s home! Feel free to shoot me a message to work something out! I send hourly updates, if not more. I also will not watch a pet until I’ve interacted with them positively. I like to know the outlay of your home so I can make your pet as comfortable as possible!

I love to spend time with animals, and know the struggle of finding someone trust worthy to take care of your kids! I have great references, and am pretty flexible when it comes to the needs and care of you and your pets. I promise to love on them and treat them as if they were my own, no matter how big or how small! I am also open to discussing payment options as well - I am here to work with you and your babies! I have the option to work from home 1 day a week if needed, but cannot work from home on Mondays or Fridays. If you’re located close enough to my employer I can let your pets out at lunch! I currently have no restrictions when it comes to caring for pets. I have cared for puppies all the way to elderly dogs. I have no allergies, so nothing to worry about there! I can take them for walks, to the dog park, and am willing to do everything I can to keep them on their schedule and stress free!
