About: I use to work at a doggie daycare in 2018 for three years I have dealt with every single breed and age along with some grooming and dog walking . I also did my own pet sitting with many customers and a lot were repeat customers . I have given medicine to a diabetic cat . I have taken care and owned many farm animals . I will take care of any animals small or big . I am available every weekend all day and I am available in the afternoon during the week and at night and very early in the morning . I do not have a fenced in yard but I don’t mind taking them out on a leash or taking them for a walk , I have cats in my home along with a little shitzuh that is my roommates dogs . A senior boxer beagle mix and a mini pincher mix I rescued him from becoming a bait dog . I also have rescued many animals .i do have two small kids in my home a 3 year old little boy and a 1 year old little girl .

“I was in need of weekly drop in visits for about a month in order to ensure our cat's needs were met. Lily’s a small cat, so I initially requested visits every 7 days. I reached out to 2 providers. One declined because of the distance, and the other didn't respond. I was about to join another pet sitting service to see if they had anyone close by and tried Rover again. Amanda’s profile appeared, and bonus, she was only about 5 country miles away from my house. I sent the details to Amanda, and she accepted fairly quickly. A more detailed text followed to let Amanda know where everything was located. I had set up things the best I could before I left to ultimately make it easier for her. We had several texts about the ideal number of days for a visit. We decided to gauge it on the condition of the litter box, food and water after the initial 5 days between my departure and her initial visit. She recommended 5 days, and she changed the visitation dates, as I was limited to only daily, weekly, monthly, etc. and not a specific number of days. Amanda’s reporting and overall communication was great. Her summaries were prompt, comprehensive and clearly painted a picture a job well done. She was also able to get Lily to warm up to her after the first visit. That alone is a minor miracle, as Lily’s quite shy around strangers and even other family members. The bottom line? I was really appreciative of Amanda through this entire process and highly recommend her to anyone needing services close to her.”

About: I have a non-profit organization and I volunteer for the animal cause since 2015. I started to rescue animals and be in love with them in my childhood. Me and my dad used to bring dogs home every week! So working with animals is a thing that I absolutely LOVE to do! i’m currently working the entire day Monday to Friday. So I’m available to boarding on weekends, and at some evenings on weekdays, to have fun with your puppy! I will be taking care of your baby in your home. So I’ll make sure that his routine is followed, that he is feed and has water available, get his favorite toys and play a lot.

About: I've grown up around labs since my grandparents were breeders. All my aunts have had labs (usually more than one at a time), so I've gotten the chance to look after them and give them walks when they were away on vacation. My most recent experience was with my roommate's St Bernard. Optimus is the largest dog I've ever cared for let alone lived with. He's been a ton of work considering his previous owner's unfortunate lack of care. We've dealt with ear infections and bulking up to a healthy weight. Throughout all, patience and determination prevailed and he's our big buddy. I'm currently working three 12-hour shifts each week providing me evenings on work days and full days twice during week and all weekend for caring for cats. I'm unavailable Wednesday evenings and weekend mornings for religious reasons. I have a clean home vacuumed every morning with plenty of windows for looking out of. Scratching posts are in every room with plenty of toys and treats to go around. I love petting cats and giving belly rubs if that's their thing.

About: When it comes to what sets me apart from other sitters, it's all about my passion and experience in training dogs. I am a force-free dog trainer who is also currently pursuing my degree in Animal Health and Behavior Science. I've been in the wonderful world of dog training for 6 years! During this time, I have attended many webinars/seminars to learn more about dogs and developed a deep understanding of their body language and how they communicate, as well as how to help them navigate the world around them. In summer of 2023, I began taking on dog training clients, as well as reaching out to animal shelters to volunteer. I have found myself to be skilled in many areas of dog training such as: Socialization, leash manners, reactivity, potty training, puppy training and more! I am able to switch around depending on the dog to perfectly match their needs and behavior. One more thing that sets me apart is how willing I am to change around depending on your dog. They’ll return home to you happy, well-cared for, and fulfilled. 🌟 I am currently still working my way through university (which is online), which means that I am available every day of the week the exception of some weekends! I have a friendly, but neutral, 2 year old border called named Vena, and a shy 5 year old cat named Cali, who typically likes to stay to herself. My dog is very well trained and is able to ignore dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a potty area where the dogs can go out on leash. I have a 14 acre field behind where I live, as well as multiple hiking trails just a shirt drive away. If youre comfortable with me taking your dog on adventures, they will be safely restrained in my car, either in a crash tested harness or crate (which I will provide). I have long lines reaching up to 50 feet allowing all dogs to run and play freely while remaining under control. When visiting homes, I will ensure pets go out according to schedule and I introduce myself in a safe and positive way!

About: Hi! My name is Charmaine, I am in the Luzerne County area and would be more than happy to watch you're fur babies for you 💕 I do currently work full time and work at home, so that way if you need a pet sitter you will know your fur baby will be safe and taking care of. Your fur babies are allowed on the furniture in my house!
