“Melissa has been everything we could hope for - and more - in a pet sitter. She is kind, professional, loving, and patient with our young puppy. We were initially nervous to leave Ruby for the first time, but Melissa’s home is a safe, fun, and relaxing haven filled with just the right balance of play and stimulation. She keeps us updated often, and Ruby always comes home happy and excited to return the next day. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets my entire life and have spent the last 7 years providing care for dogs and cats through referrals from friends, family, and neighbors. What sets me apart is the personal attention I give each pet. I treat them like part of my own family. I take the time to understand their routines, personalities, and unique needs to ensure they feel safe, loved, and at ease while you’re away. Whether it’s a playful pup, a shy cat, or a senior pet needing a little extra attention. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are always my top priorities. My remote job allows me the flexibility to build my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for, whether that means early morning walks, midday playtime, or evening check-ins. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, I always strive to create a calm, comfortable, and safe environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, this way they feel secure and cared for even when their humans are away.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since the fourth grade, and I truly can’t remember a time without one! Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds—whether for neighbors, family, friends, or even friends of friends. I’ve cared for puppies up to senior pups.Dogs have always been a part of my everyday life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We absolutely adore our Chihuahua, Romeo, and we’d care for your furry friend just like we care for him — with love, patience, and lots of cuddles. My husband and I split our work-from-home days, so someone’s almost always around during the week, and we're both home on weekends. We do not go out much. We are home bodies and like it that way. I have a fully wooden fenced with chicken wire backyard and live in a quiet, dog friendly neighborhood with very little traffic. If your pup needs a crate, that’s totally fine we can manage that otherwise, they’re welcome to roam free and make themselves at home. We only have one resident dog, a sweet little Chihuahua whose favorite activity is sunbathing and napping.

Kenneth K.
“This year my father in-law fell ill and I wasn't able to vacation in my usual spot. It was last minute and I couldn't find a VRBO to accommodate my Snookie, 80 lbs shepherd. After 12 years of companionship I wasn't about to leave her in a kennel so I entrusted Kenneth with watching her. The first morning when I awoke on vacation, I had already received texts that Snookie had no issues that night. Later that night I received another text with pictures that she ate and did her business but no walk. Snookie usually only walks for me. By the third day I received a text that Snookie ate all her food and went for a short walk. By the 5th day, Snookie was taking a walk once in the morning and again at night. This may seem normal but again, you don't know my Snookie! I would definitely use Kenneth in the future. Sincerely, Robert L.”
