About: My background in education has provided me with the exceptional level of reliability. My daily work with children translates directly into calm, patient care with animals. As I go out to different places dogs seem to gravitate towards me. I am currently working as a Teacher's Assistant. I have two dogs of my own and I walk them almost daily. We go for hikes on the weekends and lots of car rides. I treat them like my fur babies. My primary goal is to maintain a predictable, secure, and stress-free environment where your pets feel completely safe. I make sure that the doors, gates and windows are completely locked after every visit. I follow all schedules that you lay out.

Liz is FANTASTIC. Scheduling and communication were very easy. My dog is shy and fearful around new people, but he warmed up to Liz immediately. She knew exactly how to approach him and pick up on his cues and make him feel comfortable. Highly recommend.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up actively involved in their daily care, from feeding and walking to helping with training and routines. This lifelong experience has given me a strong understanding of dog behavior, body language, and individual needs. In addition to caring for my own dog, I’ve also helped care for dogs of various sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with energetic pups, as well as dogs who need a calmer, more patient approach. I prioritize safety, consistency, and communication, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care so you can feel confident your dog is in good hands. Pet care is already built into my daily routine since I’m home throughout the day and care for my own dog. I maintain a consistent schedule with outings every 4 hours, along with regular feeding, walks, and playtime. Because I’m home most of the day, dogs receive plenty of attention and are rarely left alone for long periods. I’m also flexible and can adjust routines to meet each dog’s specific needs, whether that’s more frequent breaks, extra exercise, or a slower pace. I live in an apartment complex with two dog parks and plenty of space for walks. I treat every dog like my own and take the time to quickly learn their routine and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Candace did an amazing job walking Bruno and Oliver over Memorial Day weekend. Our dogs are definitely not the easiest walkers, but she was patient, attentive, and handled both of them really well. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were getting the care and attention they needed. We’ll definitely be booking Candace again in the future.

About: I’ve been around and cared for all kinds of animals my whole life. From dogs and cats to snakes and rats. I currently have 2 cats of my own and occasionally watch pets of my friends. I’m currently available most days and times. I’m an early riser so early mornings work well for me. I’m not much of a night owl Your pet is my priority. I’ll make sure to monitor them closely and report to you with any information you’d like and unusual activity if it occurs. And of course send photos to give you peace of mind. I’m currently available most days and time. I prefer not to do later in the evenings as I’m not a night time person, but I can be available early mornings I respect your pet and your home. My cats have anxiety when I’m not home, so I understand pets need special attention when their routines are slightly off, and I want to make sure your pet is comfortable while you’re away.

About: Not only have I had animals my whole life-this includes dogs, cats, rats, you name it! I’ve also been in the veterinary care field for over 2 years and I am currently enrolled and studying to be a Veterinary Technician. I have my own puppy Willow, who I care for with my partner. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, and have cared for my fair share of animals in all stages of their life. When your pet is with me, they’re in good hands. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and was always a person that friends and family could count on to help if they needed a dog sitter. I know how to give proper care to dogs of any kind and I am a person that will always make sure they are loved and respected. I currently have completely open availability 7 days a week. I can do morning and evening walks/drop-in visits with your dogs. I do not offer overnight care in your homes, but I do offer in mine. I do offer care in my home varying between daily drop offs or overnight for vacations/any other reasons. I have a large yard that they can run around in and play in. I also have a 7 year old female boston terrier, so they must be good with other dogs. I can most definitely take care of the babies in their homes as well and make sure to follow the proper protocols and rules that are applied from the owners.

We recently worked with Kristie, as she helped routinely walk our dog while we were away on vacation. Before we left, Kristie came on her own time and met us and our dog. We were a bit nervous for anyone to walk our dog because he is a near 100 lb. chocolate Labrador Retriever who is full of energy and pulls while walking. While we were away, Kristie handled him great and it was evident that our dog loved her. Great people like Kristie are hard to come by and we would highly recommend her! We plan to use Kristie anytime we need pet sitting or dog walking in the future!

  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
