About: I’m a young outdoors person who loves animals. Your animals needs will always be met with me. Whether it’s a younger dog who need lots of playing time and exercise, or an older pet who just needs loving, I will be perfect for the job. I’ve lived with animals in my house for my entire life. From Dobermans to Shih Tzus and turtles to fish. I have been house sitting for friends and neighbors for a while now with no issues. I’ve also done some dog training while my brother got his service dog. No matter what, your pets needs will be taken care of with me with love. I am a college student on winter break and would love to work a little bit over the break. Until January 20th, I am available 7 days a week and any times you need. I’ve got 2 older dogs (poodle and shih tzu) who are very friendly and love to play. I’ve got 2 different sized cages, small and large, for any type of dog you have. “Candace did an amazing job walking Bruno and Oliver over Memorial Day weekend. Our dogs are definitely not the easiest walkers, but she was patient, attentive, and handled both of them really well. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were getting the care and attention they needed. We’ll definitely be booking Candace again in the future.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Phillipsburg
Jessenia has been so good to our dog Max! He can be nervous with strangers but she has been so kind and patient with him and it has really made me feel at ease while on vacation. She is beyond lovely to communicate with and super responsive. The pictures and little summaries of the walks have been great to see too. I would recommend her to everyone! Thank you Jessenia!

We recently worked with Kristie, as she helped routinely walk our dog while we were away on vacation. Before we left, Kristie came on her own time and met us and our dog. We were a bit nervous for anyone to walk our dog because he is a near 100 lb. chocolate Labrador Retriever who is full of energy and pulls while walking. While we were away, Kristie handled him great and it was evident that our dog loved her. Great people like Kristie are hard to come by and we would highly recommend her! We plan to use Kristie anytime we need pet sitting or dog walking in the future!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
