About: I've had a strong love for animals since I was a kid and always grew up with a pet. While that's a common backstory, I wanted mine to result in becoming a veterinarian. Now that may not have happened (I changed my mind in college), but my love and desire to be around them has never changed. I've owned birds, hamsters, turtles, cats, dogs and fish. From my childhood dog Bruno who died a few years ago, to my late grandma's dog Jabar (who I drove across the country to get when she died) to my current babies; Brick (rescued from the streets) and Plato (my turtle rescued from an unethical vendor). Here we are now, one big, happy multi-species family! I work from home while my partner goes into an office. This is how I can care for my boy Brick and my other house doggie Jabar (his mommy goes to work so I take care of him during the day too). I can give your baby a huge portion of my attention a day, because Brick is a puppy I always watch him like a hawk. Brick gets up around 4:30 am with his dad so he can get breakfast and go out. But I don't wake up until around 7:30 am so that's when Brick comes back out. We go outside and I let him run around like crazy for about 30-45 mins and then I keep him in the living room with me while I start work. Because he's a puppy, every two hours we outside to the background and he gets lunch around 2 pm. He gets about 2 hours out to play and be with Jabar, and in the cage for an hour. That's on routine throughout the day but when Dad gets home around 6 he's out for the rest of the day until bed. Jabar is older and more independent so he plays, roams the house, eats and drinks throughout the day when he wants and goes outside with me and Brick.

About: I grew up in the countryside so i have always been around many animals since my childhood years. I've taken care of dogs and cats of many breeds , I grew up in DR so I had a dog whom gave birth 3 times within the same year and I delivered 9 pups each time. I took care and nurtured all of the pups prior to finding them a new home. I also always took care of two dogs my godfathers sisters had whenever she would travel to Florida they would stay with me. I do it because I love animals and rather make sure their in good care than looked at by someone who’s careless. I work at the wind creek , my free days are Sunday through Tuesday and I am available any time. Wednesday through Thursday from 7-5pm are my working hours. However on these days Between 6pm-10pm I can be available. If needed I can also stay the night , Feeding will be done at 5:45am with a quick potty break prior to me leaving at 6:30am. Furry friends can run free at home and outside , i like taking them on walks and playing with them where with my CoCo i give her treats as she does the things I ask of her like Sit , Stay Still , my dog loves these games. This is a safe space we also have a camera outside monitoring everything. At a clients home I always follow their instructions, usually most clients would leave a small instruction pamphlet for me which I always follow.

I’ve also cared for both indoor and outdoor cats and am comfortable with different routines, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and providing companionship. I understand that every pet has different needs and am happy to follow their usual routine. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available before and after work, evenings, weekends, and many holidays. I’m committed to making time for pet care and providing dependable, consistent care. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability and work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s needs. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or visiting them in yours, I focus on keeping their routine comfortable and familiar. In our home, we limit care to no more than two pets at a time, giving each pet plenty of space and attention. When caring for pets in your home, I’m respectful of your space, follow all instructions closely, and prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness.
“Matt is a great person and an awesome dog sitter! His communication was great and we are confident that our 6 month old golden, Whiskey, was safe and very happy in his care. Matt sent us pictures, and kept us looped in on how he was doing. He was super flexible about pickup since we returned a little early from our trip. We definitely know he had a blast with how much he slept right after we picked him up. We Will definitely reach out for help with Whiskey in the future when we need to.”

“This was the first time that we have used rover to board our dog while on vacation, and we were incredibly pleased with the care provided to him by Johanny. Our dog (Benny) was just diagnosed as being hypothyroid and was dealing with many different associated conditions that required medicines and a lot of extra care. This was why we decided to try Rover rather than just boarding him at a kennel. Johanny was available at late notice and was amazing with Benny. We received pictures each day and she had no trouble administering all the medications. He was healthy when we returned and we are incredibly grateful for the care that she provided. We will DEFINITELY be using her again in the future.”
