About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life! To me, dogs are family, they deserve to be treated like like prince or princess they are. I’ll love your pup like my own, I’ll play with them, and I’ll make sure they’re in the best care possible! I’ve been mainly around small breeds (chihuahuas, Pomeranians, dachshund, and certain mixed breeds) but I will love any dog of any breed or size! I’ve always loved taking care of animals and giving them a disgustingly amount of love (haha). I’ve nursed puppies back to health and I’ve spent the final moments with senior dogs making the most of their final days. I would love to meet your dog and your family! I’m available almost always and can be flexible with my schedule, if you need me I’m there! I look forward to meeting your precious puppy and your family! :-)
“Tiara was great at checking in before her first walk with Rocky. She arrived and asked good questions about where to find all of his things, and how to handle running into other dogs on their walk. Rocky had lunch, a nice walk, and got to play with all of his puzzle toys with Tiara! We’ve already booked our next walks with her.”

About: Hi! I’m 30 and I have been pet sitting on Rover for over three years for dogs and cats of all ages and needs. I may be petite but don’t be fooled! I am an aerialist in my spare time, and so I have a lot of upper body strength and can handle large, strong dogs as well as high energy dogs who need long, brisk walks for proper exercise. I have experience with older pets and am comfortable administering medications. Let me know if you would like me to water plants, turn on/off lights, or any other tasks while you are away. Whether you need an extra walk for a feisty pooch, care during your family vacation, or long-term assistance, feel free to contact me for a meet and greet. During COVID era, your comfort is of upmost importance. Please let me know if you would like me to wear a mask indoors, wipe down door handles, etc. to ensure your safety. I work full-time in the animal welfare field, so I am most available for weekend and long weekend pet sitting. I can do occasional weekday walks as well. Safety and mental wellbeing are my top priorities. I always make sure dogs are leashed before going out the door and avoid other dogs and people during walks, just to be safe.

“Liz is FANTASTIC. Scheduling and communication were very easy. My dog is shy and fearful around new people, but he warmed up to Liz immediately. She knew exactly how to approach him and pick up on his cues and make him feel comfortable. Highly recommend.”

“We needed a walker last minute and Wade came through and walked us through our first time using Rover! Wade is very professional and it’s immediately clear he knows how to handle dogs. He also brought in the packages, thank you Wade!”

“Tyler has been walking my Golden, Max, for a couple months now and he is the only one I would trust with my Max! Max already knows when Tyler is on his way and waits for him looking out the window. Tyler is very friendly and gentle even with my older dog. Max always comes back tired from his walk, which is a great help to me! Thanks Tyler!”

“The best dog walker around. Megan was so patient with my Luna who needed some warming up to a new face and before you know they were off for their walk and she had an amazing time. Megan is very flexible and accommodating. She followed all of my instructions and kept me updated on Luna’s progress with pics and review cards. I would recommend Megan to care for your fur child any day and I look forward to utilizing her services again in the near future. Thank you Megan for taking such good care of our sweet girl.”

“Sabrina was excellent with my energetic puppy Charlie! She was a huge help being available last minute, very reliable and responsive, and provided great, detailed feedback and pictures! I will use her again and highly recommend her!”

“Rikki is amazing! I was nervous finding someone to care for our brand new puppy, but we are so lucky we found Rikki! She listened to everything we had to say about our puppy and she went above and beyond for him when she came to walk him. She cleaned up his accidents in his crate, sent us pictures, and played with him outside! She is so sweet and really cares about her job. I recommend her to everyone and can’t wait to have her come again ?”

Spending time with animals in one of my favorite things to do and I’m very open to learning new and different ways to care for and connect with them. About: Hi, my name is Lindsey and I graduated from Montclair State University in 2019. I currently work as a front desk receptionist at ImageCare Radiology. One of my favorite things to do is play with my energetic cat, Tig. I also love to go for walks with my beagle mix, Buster. I have a lot of pet care experience, including hamsters, guinea pigs, cats, dogs and horses. I am willing to care for any other pets you may have besides cats and dogs. I love to exercise and dog walking is one of my favorite ways to do it! I will not only care for you pets, but your house as well. Vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, you name it! If you need anything done while you are away, please don’t be afraid to ask, I love to clean! I have always been an animal lover, and I guess it’s because animals always seem to take a liking to me. Please contact me, Lindsey, for your dog or cat needs! My typical work day is 9am-7:00pm, so I would be able to provide potty breaks every 8-10 hours. If I know I am watching your fur baby, I will make sure to work around what they need! I have a a Beagle mix at home. My dog, Buster, is great with new people and unsure at first with new dogs. He has his moments and is very food driven, but with the right boundaries, he is a great dog.

Whether it’s walks, playtime, belly rubs, or just some good company, I tailor my care to fit each pet’s needs. I’m experienced with medication management and sticking to routines, so your pet stays comfortable while you're away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule with my part-time job. This allows me to plan my day around pet visits, giving each pet the time, attention, and care they need without feeling rushed. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening snuggles, I can adjust to fit their routine and ensure they stay happy and comfortable while you’re away. I always stick to your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. My goal is to make sure they feel at ease and have fun, while you have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands!
About: I was a veterinary technician for 12 years. I left the field at the beginning of July to attend driving school for my CDL. I don't start my new job until mid September, so I'll have some free time the first two weeks of September to do some pet sitting and dog walking. I don't pet sit in my home- I stay at the clients home with their pet since it allows the pet's environment to remain the same, which often equates to the pet being more comfortable. I mainly pet sit for cats and dogs, but i enjoy small animals as well. Other services I offer are drop-in visits for feeding, potty breaks, administering medications, and subcutaneous fluids, and dog walking. If verification of my background is desired, I can give you the name and phone number of the veterinary clinic I worked at until leaving the field. For the first two weeks of September my schedule is wide open for pet care and dog walking until I start my new job mid September. I try to keep their routines the same so that they're comfortable and not stressed while their parents are away. I find pet sitting in the owners home causes less stress for the pet than boarding.
Alpha dog parents share their Rover experiences
My girls were so thrilled to get to go on walks with Kristie! When I got home, they looked disappointed that it was me walking through the door. I was so pleased at how comfortable/happy they seemed with her and will definitely book her again. Luna and Violet say thank you!
