“Kristi is wonderful, my doxies were so much happier remaining home as our last kennel experience was traumatic for one of my boys. I already have set up a second week and will always keep her in mind. Definitely 5 star!”

“Cherrie was wonderful with our two special cats! They both have stomatitis and she was more than happy to accommodate working with them to ensure they ate. Such a warm wonderful woman! Absolutely recommend!”
“She made three visits a day to our house for our dog and cat. They loved her, and she did everything perfectly including giving our dog plenty of walks and giving her her medicine. We will definitely be asking her to come watch our pets again in the future!”

“Excellent sitter! Came at last minute notice for us, as our original plan failed. She let us know of all issues and any she thought might be a problem, our cats really enjoyed her presence as well! And they have a sense of people, human and cat approved!”

“Ashley is an awesome pet sitter! We left our kitty (who has never been left alone before) in our home for 5 days. We felt apprehensive leaving Koori but Ashley was excellent! She was consistent, attentive to all of our cat’s needs and very knowledgeable. She also took time to try and befriend our shy cat. We highly recommend this sweet pet sitter!”
About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and patience I have for animals. I treat every pet like family and understand that each one has their own personality, routine, and comfort needs. I’m dependable, attentive, and focused on making pets feel safe, happy, and loved — whether it’s a long walk, cuddle time, playtime, or simply keeping their routine consistent while you’re away. My current routine gives me the flexibility and availability to provide dependable, attentive care for pets throughout the day. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, which makes dog walking and pet care a natural fit for me. I’m able to dedicate quality time to each pet, maintain consistent schedules, and make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I care for pets with patience, consistency, and lots of affection, whether they’re in my home or theirs. I make sure they stay on their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention so they feel comfortable and secure. I keep a clean, safe environment, pay close attention to their behavior and needs, and treat every pet like they’re part of the family. Communication with owners is also important to me, so I provide updates and photos for peace of mind.
About: I have four huge dogs and three cats and I am the primary caregiver for all of them. This includes, walking, playing, cleaning droppings, changing litter boxes, watching them overnight. I have open availability all throughout the week at any time usually. Just let me know when you’d need me and I can let you know if I’m available that day, I have a cozy home with plenty of spots to rest, fenced yard and crate if requested. They’ll always provided with playtime and bathroom breaks. They’ll get personalized care depending on their breed.
“We were relieved to find Agnes who we trusted with our two puppers for several visits during our wedding! She checked in and was great with sharing photos to let us know they were safe!”

About: I think animals are to be loved and treated like they are part of the family! Growing up I had 5 cats, 4 guinea pigs, 3 hamsters, 2 mice. Currently I have 2 cats of my own and I love them so dearly. I'm currently in-between jobs so I have pretty much full availability at the moment. Weekends are good for long term relationships, but we can figure something out if you need care on weekdays! I can go to your place and feed animals, scoop cat litter boxes, take dogs for walks, play, cuddle, pretty much anything you would need me to do, just let me know!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes including my own GSD and my wheaten terrier from 8 weeks old to adulthood. I also have experience babysitting my best friend’s Doberman and my mom’s pittie mixes. I currently work full time but I get up early to make sure my dog gets her walk and is fed twice a day. We also hike often on the weekends and lead a very active lifestyle. We currently have a fenced in yard and lots of backyard space to play. We also have the convenience of living in a neighborhood with lots of sidewalks for safe daily walks.

“Cheyenne did great with my cat! She took care of him while was away from my vacation. At first, I was so worried leaving him because he sustained a skin condition ( a ringworm like symptoms) & it’s not getting any better. But Cheyenne did not hesitate and willing to do the extra work. She updates me daily about my cat & took some pictures so that I can see his progress. She really gives me peace of mind! When I came home a week after, my cat’s wound is looking much better. Thanks Cheyenne for everything! You went above and beyond!”

“Hired Karen to watch my sassy senior cat for an extended period of time in the evenings while I was away on my trip. Happy with the communication and updates. It is appreciated!!”

About: I have grown up with dogs and now have one of my own. I have had her since a puppy so I understand the phases that animals may go through. I treat my furbaby like family and plan to do the same for yours. I am a full-time nurse (3 days a week) but plan to spend my four days off helping others with their pet's needs. I am available for early mornings through later night hours. I am open to caring for any dog/cat breed. I understand the importance of patience with animals and am always able to win over a dog's heart.
“Wade was very attentive and took good care of our cats while we were out on vacation. He provided daily written updates and photos, and ensured our pets were well taken care of. I would definitely book him again.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Still Valley. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
