About: A lifelong love of animals has led to me learning how best to care for them from a young age. I'll make sure your pets feel happy, comfortable and safe! I have experience with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, turkeys, and guinea pigs, and I'm willing to work with all animals except arachnids and insects. I wake up at around 8 every day and go to bed around 11, and I can adjust pretty easily if I need to be up earlier or later. I can mold my schedule to another routine very easily (and enjoy doing so!) and working with animals fills me with so much joy that doing the best job possible is barely a job at all. I'll meet your pet where they're at. If they don't want to be sociable, that's fine! I'll make sure they're fed and have water and they can come to me in their own time. If they want to be attached to the hip from moment one, I love that too.

About: Aside from owning 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a reptile, I have worked as a kennel tech at a dog daycare for almost a year. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and conditions, ensuring comfort and ample enrichment. I would care for and enrich the pet(s) as if they were my own, making sure to spend quality time in ways that are more receptive to them. I’m also open to accommodating various specific requests and also care for other pets (e.g. fish, snakes, bunnies, etc). I’m more than happy to welcome pets into my house. In those cases, I’d spend time testing compatibility and comfort in my environment with my own pets and accommodate the pet(s) as necessary to ensure low stress but plenty of enrichment. I also have a spare room I could host the pet(s) in.

About: My husband and I have owned our dogs since 2018, adopting a third in 2024. We've been fostering for a rescue for nearly 3 years- we've fostered/rehabilitated 16 dogs through adoption so far! We call them our "foster alumni" and often see them back for a weekend of pet sitting. I work a standard 9-5:30, so my availability is limited to nights and weekends. I work at Dental Sleep Medicine of Athens from 8-5 (sometimes later but only Tuesdays and Wednesdays) Monday-Thursday. I am available any other time, including all nights and weekends.
