About: Hello my name is Jenny. I currently live in Gold Bar, but I am more than willing to travel to the Monroe area, as far East as Index. I grew up with pets my entire life, everything from goats to ferrets & everything in between. I can not remember a time in my life that I did not have some sort of pet around. I have a very flexible schedule as I am home full time. I am available everyday during the week & Saturday. I can be at your place as early as 6:00am and as late at 3:00pm. As of right now I am not able to watch your dog at my home or overnight stays at my home as our backyard fence is being repaired. With that being said I am more than eager to come to your home to watch your furry friend(s). I am open to coming over to do potty breaks, walks, small hikes or anything else that is needed. As of right now I do not have any dogs but I do have 3 cats, we are in the process of getting a dog from the Everett Humane Society. I believe every dog/animal deserves a home. Unfortunately the following pictures you will see do not contain dogs, they are my cats as I have lived in a apartment for the last 9 years that did not allow dogs. 6 months ago we moved into a 3 bedroom 1238 sq foot house, so the hunt for a dog/puppy is on. I can't wait to have a dog in my life again, be it one of my own or your dog(s). I am home at all times, which allows me to be able to spend the entire day/night with your pup. I am available Mon - Sat from 6:00am to 3:00pm. I have a fairly good size backyard that is completely fenced, when the pups need to go out someone is out there with them at all times. If it is an overnight stay, I do have a crate if they are crate trained.

“Teddy's first experience at Doggy Daycare with Annalyn, her kiddos and new best buds, Charlie and Wilson couldn't have gone better. He got a lot of TLC, snuggles, walks and attention. Teddy is looking forward to his next playdate with Da Boyz!”

“Dawn was fantastic with Pepper! She took great care of her, and Pepper was happy and comfortable the whole time. Super easy to communicate with, and the scenic drive out to her place was a lovely bonus. We’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.”

About: I have had small dogs my entire life and recently lost my beloved fur baby after 18 wonderful years together. Caring for senior dogs has always been a meaningful part of my life. But, welcome all ages. I have extensive experience providing the extra love, patience, and care that older dogs need, including managing the challenges that come with aging. All of my dogs have lived beyond 15 years old, and I have personally experienced the many stages of senior care—from mobility changes and special routines to simply providing comfort, companionship, and a safe, loving environment. I understand that senior dogs require extra attention, and I treat every dog as a cherished member of the family. I currently work full time from home, which allows me to provide constant companionship, attention, and care throughout the day. Your beloved family member would never be left alone and would receive the same love, patience, and comfort that I have always given my own dogs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family, and I would treat your dog as if they were my own. While I do not have a fenced yard, I provide a safe and supervised environment at all times. Your dog would always have my full attention and would either be right by my side or safely on a leash when outside. Their safety, comfort, and happiness would always be my top priority.

I do not have a fenced yard, but I do have lots of space however! I have dog sat almost once a month consecutively for the past 5 months!
“Margaret took wonderful care of my italian greyhound mix Pippin! She sent me some beautiful pictures of him out on their walks and sunbathing in her gorgeous large backyard. Having worked in the animal care industry myself for multiple years, I have a keen sense of who to intrust with my baby boy. I never had a worry when he was staying with her and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for quality care for your furry family member <3”

“Wonderful sitters. They really worked at understanding and respecting Deja's sweet and spicy personality. Deja had a great time and I felt very comfortable leaving her in their care.”

About: I bring a lifetime of experience in caring for animals and live on 10 acres of wooded pastures with 3 horses, dogs, cats, and a house rabbit. My personal pack of four rescue dogs get along well with any new dog I introduce to the family. I have been fostering dogs for a local rescue organization for several years, gaining hands-on experience with many breeds and ages of dogs. I specialize in puppy care and training and have successfully provided basic training and care for numerous foster dogs. I have experience caring for elderly dogs and am skilled in giving medication and insulin. This is an all inclusive experience for dogs! Here your dog will enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor playtime in my private dog park which offers a peaceful setting away from any traffic noise. This is true farm privacy with a ten acre buffer and plenty of natural enrichment including a natural creek, pond, and wooded pastures. Dogs will have opportunities to participate in activities like sniff walks, barn exploring, and pack walks. For puppies I keep them on a schedule for potty training, socializing, and naps. Additionally, I have a dedicated small dog area and small dogs get to enjoy couch time in the evenings! All activities are included for the boarding price. If you desire an exit bath before your dog goes home please let me know. 🐾 I enjoy working on agility training with one of my dogs who is very athletic and to expand my training knowledge, I continue to work with local dog trainers. Beyond my work with animals, I raised two children and dedicated 18 years to volunteering in our local school district, where I passed multiple background checks and supported various programs and events in schools and classrooms. My property is quiet and away from any traffic yet located just a mile from a major highway making it easy to get to for drop off and pick up! I am home everyday and spend most of my time with the animals in my care. I am happy to be flexible on timing for drop off or pick up windows and can pop in for drop in visits to give you a helping hand. In my home pets will be fed twice a day and have off leash time to relax or play with friends. If they are crate trained they will have their own crate to retreat to and dog beds to rest on. My dogs enjoy meeting new friends and provide a comforting pack to show new dogs the ropes. Outside, I always work on name recall with new dogs on leash and when they get to know me they will have supervised off leash time. Additionally, your dog may enjoy a walk to our horse barn and discover a world of sensory enrichment for their nose! In your home I can play with and feed your kitty or your pups and provide any care they need and can feed on the schedule that you request.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,794 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Startup. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Startup commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,794 sitters in Startup, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
