“This was the second time Heidi took care of our kitties! Appreciated her thorough daily updates and pics. Thrilled and surprised that Violet warmed up so quickly! Heidi truly has the magic touch”

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My first dog was a Chihuahua who lived to be 18, so I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs and making sure they stay comfortable as they grow older. I've also grown up around horses and farm animals, and I even had a leopard gecko for a couple years. Most of my friends and family have dogs too, so I've spent plenty of time around all kinds of personalities and energy levels. Being around animals has always been something I enjoy! I'm a full time college student, so I have lots of extra time to care for your beloved companions! I have my own transportation and extremely flexible times. I live in an apartment with my Belgian Malinois, so I know firsthand how important exercise, structure, and routine can be, especially for high-energy dogs! I'm very organized and always do my best to stick to each pet's normal schedule so they feel comfortable and at home.
“Marina did such an amazing job her skills with my dogs were impeccable. We have 3 dogs over 75lbs each and we were a little worried they might be to much to handle but she was awesome with her care and love for my dog's we arrived home to happy well taken care of dogs that were just as happy as we left them which is so gratifying. Marina is incredible and I would recommend her to anyone looking for care for there animals her kind and loving manner was her strongest attributes that really shined through. I can't say enough good things about her and we will be using her skills every time we leave town. Thank you Marina for all your help”

“THANK YOU! Alison was wonderful! We couldn't have asked for a better siter for our Magellan while we were away for the holidays. She made she he was clean fed and cuddled! We loved the extra photos and videos. We especially enjoyed the extra pics of our outside kitties. Alison was great at following out sort of weird instructions and even brought in our mail!! Thank you SO much, Alison! You'll be at the top of our list next time we have to go out of town.”

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!
“Laurie was a wonderful choice while I was on vacation. I had no worries as well as my dog, Chloe was clearly happy with her while I was away! I would gladly do business with you again thank you very much!”

“Pat was the perfect sitter for our three kitties! She asked great questions to make sure she knew exactly what she needed to know to care for our cats. She was super communicative with us, was on time for drop ins and even went out of her way to make our cats a little toy. We look forward to hiring Pat again in the future!”

“Really appreciated the last minute booking. This was our first Rover experience and it was great. We met Shaina the week before we needed her. She sent us lots of updates and pictures. I highly recommend Shaina!”

“Sheila was very professional and friendly and really seems to care about the animals she cares for. She came be the house twice before I left on vacation to get to know my cat and learn about his routines. He seemed to like her and I felt confident hiring her. She brought special toys for him to play with when she came each day and would send me photos of them playing together. I hope to hire Sheila again when I need to be away.”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve had up to three dogs of my own at once (plus cats and even farm animals!), so I’m comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines all at once. I’ve worked on a farm and volunteered at a local animal shelter, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all temperaments — from energetic and playful to shy or nervous. Those experiences taught me patience, consistency, and how important it is to make animals feel safe. I’ve dog sat for friends and family many times, and always treat their pets like they’re my own. Whether your dog needs long walks and playtime, a calm and gentle approach, or help taking oral medication, I’m focused on making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re feel confident they’re in good hands (I’m happy to give frequent updates!) I mostly have walk times available in the afternoon- 3:30pm and after. Saturday-Monday I have more availability (all day) for walks and visits! Communication is key to success and I am happy to try and make things work. I like to walk (or run) at whatever pace your dog sets, ensuring they get plenty of breaks to drink or rest as needed! Lots of attention and play is my specialty, but I also can appreciate some dogs and cats needing their space and can recognize when they just want to relax on their own. If you like updates with pictures of your fur baby, I’m your gal! You’ll be sure to stay in touch with how your pup is enjoying their walk or dinner with a picture or two.

“Terri did a great job taking care of my kitties. They're skittish around new people, so she spent some time searching for them. She even came back later in the day when she couldn't find one of them in the morning. She re-filled the litter box when the sand was low, and generally did a great job caring for them.”

About: My professional RN background will allow me to take good care of your pup. I’m active and love a dog at my side. Call me. I’m retired and lost my sweet girl in Feb. I have so much love and attention to share with your dog when you can’t be there with him/her. Small, fenced yard and lots of desert “green space”all around my neighborhood. I walk daily and prefer outdoors to indoors. I appreciate good behavior. 💕

About: I am a recently graduated college athlete looking to take care of my community’s pets. In the past I’ve walked two golden retrievers three times a week every week for a year. I’ve always had a family pet or two in the home and absolutely love animals! I am currently unemployed so I have an open and flexible schedule. I can fit you and your pets schedule needs quite easily as of right now. I have a very friendly 11 year old border collie named Charlie who loves other dogs. I also have a fenced backyard and childproof home. If your animal has a special requests I would be happy to accommodate.
Starr Pass pet parents share their Rover experiences
Katelyn is the best of the best. Her love for animals is beyond measure. She has helped to care for my dogs in a difficult time and they are so much better for it. Every visit she leaves the house/yard better than she found it. My dogs are always so happy to see her. Cannot recommend her enough.
