I work full time during the week, so I am gone from about 5am to 3:30pm during the day. After work, I walk my dogs and spend time with them. They eat dinner at 4, then around 6 or 7 we go for our evening walk. I am home most of the time on the weekends so I spend additional time with my dogs on those days. My pets are a part of my family, so if they can go with me somewhere, they do!

Safety, trust & environment
My house has always been very dog-proof, as I actively foster dogs here in Tucson. I have a fenced in yard for pups to play in and go potty, but I also enjoy taking clients and my own pups for long walks to explore. Client pets will never be left outside in the yard unattended!
Information Amy M. would like to know about your pet
Is your dog comfortable in a crate when I leave the house? Does your dog have separation anxiety? Does your dog get along with other dogs? Is your dog potty trained? I can board dogs during the week if they are comfortable in a crate, as I work from 6-3:30 and I don’t want to stress the pup out if they are not comfortable with napping during that time.
A typical day
I enjoy hiking with my dogs. I have some trails within walking distance of my house so I head there on the weekends or after work during the cooler months. I also love taking them to dog friendly places with me if I have to run errands or I’m hanging with friends (home depot, breweries, pet store, outdoor restaurants).

Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs all my life. I also have seven years of experience fostering dogs and finding them adoptive homes and I am an active, high level dog walker at PACC. Through these opportunities I have gained experience with a lot of different dog behaviors and personalities! I am a very observative person and I am skilled at gauging a dogs personality after observing them for a short amount of time. I think this is important when taking in unfamiliar dogs for a stay, as you need to learn as much as you can about a dog from the owner/observation before you can safely take that dog out into the world for socialization, exercise, etc! Dogs are a major part of my life - they are understanding, loving, and their unique personalities always bring a smile to my face. I look forward to caring for your pups, and your kitties!!
