“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! From the moment we contacted Britni, we felt completely comfortable leaving our dog in her care. Britni and her whole family were incredibly kind, reliable, attentive, and kept us updated throughout our time away, which gave us such peace of mind. Our dog was so happy and well cared for, and it was obvious that they genuinely love animals. Everything was handled perfectly, and we came home to a very happy, relaxed doggie. We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with them again! Thanks again Britni ❤️🐾”

About: Hi, I’m Autumn! While I’m new to Rover, I am not new to dogs! Animals have been a huge part of my entire life! At 16, I started working as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic. I went on to receive my degree in veterinary technology and dedicated almost 10 years as a tech. Now, I’d love to continue caring for pets beyond the clinic! My husband and I own a 1/2 acre of acre of land in Forest Lake. We have one dog, a senior Shih Tzu named Nala! For the safety of all dogs, I do require they are comfortable being kenneled during times I am away or sleeping. Otherwise, they are free to follow me around the house or even nap on the couch! Caring for animals is my top priority, so I have the flexibility to be home with all pets for the majority of the day, every day! In our home, pets are family! We offer a large lawn to allow your pets plenty of room to exercise. Plenty of snuggles and playtime will be offered along with daily walks as requested/weather permitting. Crating is utilized for safety when pets are not directly supervised (home alone or bedtime). Any other needs? No problem! I know each and every pet has their own unique preferences and needs.
“Kayla was great! Very easy to work with and excellent communication from start to finish. We did a short meet & greet before boarding our dog with her as this was our first time boarding him in someone else’s home, and so that he could meet her pup. I would recommend her to anyone, and hope to board with her in the future!”

About: Mature adult with over 40 years of experience caring for pets. Fully fenced in yard. Flexible options available. Willing to take multiple pets. Currently no pets in home. I currently work in the office 3 days a week, and from home Mondays and Fridays. I am flexible for drop off or pickup on those days. Our yard is fully fenced in with a 5 foot chain link fence. I offer personalized care for your pets from feeding to play time. Will take walks depending on the weather. The location says Ham Lake, but I am on the border of Blaine and Ham Lake.
“Mia enjoys staying with Corrie, Daniel, and family. They take such good care of her when we are away and are always our first choice when we need a sitter because we know they will give her lots of love. This was the longest we had ever been away from Mia, and we missed her so much. They were great about sending us "pupdates," which we always appreciate!”

“Ronda was great taking care of our precious Layla. She provides a great loving environment which makes it a lot easier to leave our dog with no worries. She sent 5 pictures in the 7 day vacation span we were so grateful for the updates. We would highly recommend Ronda and will use her again for Layla’s care in the future.”

“Sophia (and her family!) took such good care of Gilly. Even when her separation anxiety made her a little crazier than normal, they did a great job keeping her fed, exercised and comfortable.”

“Angela was amazing with Luna and Manu! We received daily pictures, videos, and updates. She is so loving with the dogs. Angela opened her heart and home for our dogs and really gave us peace of mind while we were traveling. She has a large fenced yard! The pooches loved her and we are so glad we found a place where our dogs can go when we need it. Thank you so much, Angela!”

About: I love animals and have cared for them my whole life. I'm a great listener and will do my best to accommodate to your dog and help you feel at easy leaving them in my care. I have two labrador retrievers, one cat, horses and chickens. I train my dogs in obedience and hunting. Both my dogs are guide dogs at a hunt club and are kennel trained. I love animals and feel blessed to work from home and spend all day with them. I have a large fenced in back yard. I do have horses and will make sure your pet is safe. I have a nice big porch that I have open to the dogs in the summer to enjoy the nice weather. I can provide mid-day walks when the weather is nice! I have two kids ages 6 and 8 that live with me. They are great with animals but will not be directly provided care for any dogs. Please don't hesitate to ask questions! I'm here to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your dog. **All dogs must be potty trained with the exception of dogs under 6 months that are still learning to potty train. **All dogs should be acclimated to a kennel or kennel trained. I work from home and can let out dogs for potty breaks multiple times a day. They can lounge around my home and play with toys. I do have one older cat that likes to come out and say hi. She is more of a cat-dog. If I have dogs that need more potty breaks and stimulation, we can discuss a pet care plan for them while they are here. If for any reason pets are unattended, I have kennels for them to stay in. My computer is in the living room area where I can watch the dogs inside and outside the house. During the school year my kids will be at school. They are great with animals and understand how to treat animals with care and respect.

We had such a wonderful experience with Linzy & her family! Sadie absolutely loved them and came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. 🐾❤️ If your dog loves kids, this is a fantastic option! They were so sweet with her, and it was obvious she had a great time being part of their family for a bit. We felt completely comfortable knowing she was in such a loving home. We would absolutely recommend and would happily book with them again!

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
94% of sitters in Stanley can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Stanley home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Stanley.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Stanley sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
