“Riley came home and snoozed the whole next day. He must have had a great time lol. Thanks for showing him a great time and taking such good care of him. We appreciated the pics too.”

“Elizabeth and Eric are awesome! This is Rocky’s second long stay of 10 days and Elizabeth is terrific with updates photos and videos! Make me feel so at ease knowing he is loved and well cared for- they really integrate him into their pack! Soooooo happy to have connected with these true animal lovers! Thank you Elizabeth and Eric!!!”

“Crystal and Brandon were very kind and took excellent care of my boys. I always worry about how things go when I have to be without them. Its like putting your kids on a school bus for the first time. But they sent photos and updates! They even gave a beautiful card on the last day. I was so relieved! I am so grateful to have found them!”

“Amanda was really good with Hazel. Made her feel at home and she was very attentive to Hazel, with playing with her dog and others, she had such a good time! Hazel was a very tired dog when she came home from all the attention and activity. We will definitely rebook with Amanda again.”

“Jackie and the family were great. I felt comfortable right out of the gate that our dog would be in good hands. Her dogs kept ours company with lots of playing out in their fences in yard and she even took them on walks. The kids helped out and Jackie sent pictures and updates throughout which was much appreciated. We will be trusting them with our dog again in the future for sure!”

“Katrina and her family were such a life saver for our family when we went on vacation in February. Our 2 dogs, Sarge and Chauncie had a blast while staying there and I think they were a bit bummed because they had to come home. I think they got more love and attention there than they get at home :) During our whole vacation, Katrina sent pictures of the dogs and daily updates. I felt really at ease on our trip knowing our dogs were well cared for. We will definitely be using Katrina whenever we plan out of town trips. She loved our dogs like they were her own.”
“Danielle was great with our dog Sammy. She gave us morning and evening updates on how our friend was doing, along with multiple pictures. We could tell Sammy was well cared for with walks, and he was given the attention he needed. We felt she went above and beyond what is expected. The best way to explain it is that Danielle took care of our dog as if it were her own. I would highly recommend Danielle, and we will definitely look to book with her again. Brent”

About: I've been around dogs nearly all my life. I have a 7yo German Shepherd named Summer who's a retired Search and Rescue K9 that I trained and worked with for 5 years. Now we enjoy taking drives, finding new trails to explore, and meeting other friendly canines. I work full-time from home so I'm able to give extra attention nearly all the time. I live on an acre with a small portion of my lawn fenced in. I take my dog on at least a mile long walk every day and we play fetch regularly. Your dog will get plenty of play and exercise.
“River had the best time with Sherin and their pups! He left just as happy as when he was dropped off and has turned into a lazy lump ever since getting home. They have a lot of outdoor space which River loved. Would recommend :)”

“Jennifer was an absolute lifesaver for us and an incredible dog sitter. She sent daily photo updates and detailed messages about our baby girl Reeba, which put my mind completely at ease. It's clear she has a genuine love for animals. It was such a comfort also to know Reeba was calm, and she even got extra playtime and snuggles with the kids. Reeba seemed completely relaxed and happy in the pictures Jen sent. We can't recommend Jennifer and her family enough , we will definitely be booking with her again for our future trips!”

About: Hi there! I’m a longtime dog lover, mom of three, and an experienced pet sitter who firmly believes dogs are family. I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and personalities and genuinely love getting to know each pup’s unique quirks. My home has one friendly dog of our own, so your pup will have a furry friend around. I live in a townhouse with a small yard, but that doesn’t stop us from getting outside. Daily walks, playtime, fresh air, and plenty of couch cuddles are all part of the deal. I’m also comfortable administering medication in pill form when needed. With three kids ages 6–11, patience, flexibility, and a little chaos are basically part of my daily routine. 😉 Most importantly, I’ll treat your pup like one of my own, keep you updated with photos, and make sure they get plenty of love while you’re away. Since I work from home, pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, let them out as needed, and work in walks and playtime around my schedule. I also have flexibility throughout the day for feeding, medication, potty breaks, and extra cuddles. My home is a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment where your pup can feel at home while you’re away. I have one friendly dog of my own, and I’m happy to provide a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone is comfortable. Since I work from home, pets get plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I have a small townhouse yard for quick potty breaks, plus daily walks and playtime for exercise and enrichment. I also have a designated quiet space where a dog can take a break when needed, whether that’s behind a baby gate or in their crate—whichever you and your pup are most comfortable with. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding instructions, medication needs, and any special preferences you provide. My goal is simple: a happy, safe pup and a pet parent who feels completely comfortable while they’re away.

93% of sitters in Grandy can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Grandy.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
