About: Growing up, I took care of my household pets which turned my passion into a life long career as a licensed veterinary technician. I am skilled and experienced in all animal health and well-being and happy to walk, feed and care for all of your pets needs. My days are filled with caring for my own pets, my new son, and currently working full time at a local animal hospital. I am available most afternoons after 3pm. Earning your pets trust is my top priority. If you have a nervous pet, I will take as much time as needed to make sure they are comfortable. With my experience as a technician I can ensure your pets safety is my top priority. Walks will be double leashed, extreme weather conditions will be treated accordingly.

About: I’ve been doing pet sitting and dog walking for over five years now, and I have become the top caregiver in the area. I’m a huge animal lover who really enjoys spending time with animals. I will work from your home during the week. I can be out for four hours at a time on occasion for meetings. I am available within ten miles of Poughkeepsie. Kingston and Newburgh are out of my range. I follow directions to a tee when providing in home sittings, and I ensure a nice clean home upon your return. I also do my best to encourage pets to keep their minds in a calm state.

About: Hi, I’m Ady and I’d love to care for your furry friends! I have worked with rescue and foster dogs for the past six years, caring for a wide range of behavioral issues, medical problems and physical therapy, as well as severe separation anxiety. If your dog is shy or aggressive around new people, or a rescue who may need some extra support—I’m the pet sitter for you! I currently work part time, so I will have plenty of time to look after your pets! I do have reliable transport from the heart of Woodstock to the surrounding area so I’m happy to make a bit of a drive to reach you, even just for drop-ins or walks. My partner is unfortunately allergic to furry friends, so I get my fill of dogs through pet-sitting as much as possible! I approach each dog gently and slowly, attending to each dog’s unique personality and behavioral/medical requirements. I’d love the opportunity to make your dog feel comfortable while you’re away! My philosophy regarding anxiety in dogs is to mimic their regular routine as much as possible. I am also happy to attend to any house-sitting duties (watering plants, taking in mail, etc) while I’m caring for your furry friend! I fostered a two-year-old rescue Catahoula & Pitbull mix this past Winter, with a routine of four walks a day and positive-reinforcement recall and leash training. About: As a social worker, I'm highly attuned to both human and animal needs/issues, and love getting to know and cater to unique personalities - or provide loving care for those who are ill or have special needs. I started taking care of neighbors' pets at an early age and though we only had fish and birds and a cat at home, dogs and other animals became a special love of mine. I have been cat, dog, bird and other little furry friend sitting for over four decades and have done so for several years as a 5 star sitter on Trusted Housesitters. I love making new furry friends, both for sharing my positive, attentive energy with them, and for nourishing in the innocent sweet playfulness they often offer. I’ve often been told that other than happy pets, there was no sign I had even been there! A veteran 5-start pet-sitter, I am new to Rover and am figuring out how the calendar and geography works so it can reflect where I am and when I'm available. Most folks comment that they can barely tell I've been there. Cleanliness, respect, and loving care are my hallmarks. I make sure to honor any requests and instructions for people's homes, which often have quirks and special needs -- and to of course respect privacy too, just as I would as a social worker. As for furry friends, they get exceptional, reliable, patient, playful, caring energy from me while I make sure that all their food, litter, or other needs are met.

About: If you have an athletic or active dog, we are the hosts for you!!! Trips to parks (on and off leash), running the trails, and swimming in a Lake will happen every day. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I have a very open schedule. Usually I go to the park go with my family who enjoy the day doing things outside the house. If you have a last minute appointment or you need anything on the same day I do take them I have a very open schedule one works in the morning and the other one works in the afternoon so your pet will never be alone. I had pets before they pass away. We used to love our pets so much. We took CPR classes and emergency classes for pets just in case.

About: I had two felines for over 15 years but they recently passed away. They were my best friends, but they hated dogs, which brought me to Rover. I love dogs big and small, from german shepherds to a Maltese, I have never had the living situation to have one. I understand the importance of a routine in a dog's life and want to make them as comfortable as possible, especially when their human is not around. I love taking them out to play in the park or snuggling on the couch. Depending on the dog's needs I will take them for a short or long walk. We will make a plan catered to your specific pet. I have experience with giving medicine. I have experience with walking, overnight care, and in-home pups. I've always wanted a dog, let me give yours all the love I have to share. I have a flexible schedule and keep my rover calendar updated! I am an early riser and like to get moving so if you need morning help I am happy to do so. I try not to be out super late so unless I am doing an overnight the latest I'd do a visit it 9pm-10pm. Unfortunately, I can no longer offer home care in my house. For pet parents, I will arrive within the designated time, greet the pet with a warm hello, check the water to make sure it is clean and full, check the food to confirm the amount eaten, take the puppy outside to relieve itself, and/or change the puppy pad if required. Give the dog some good scratches and pats and maybe a treat if available. If the dog wants to play tug-o-war or fetch I'll do some of that too. I would like to tailor the visit to the dog's routine, so as not to cause any undue stress.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for over 15 years. I pet sat many times as a child and continued through adulthood including, walking, feeding, administering medicine, baths & snuggles! I also volunteered at a local animal shelter as a dog walker. Currently 3 cats and a rambunctious German Shepard/Siberian Husky 3 years old. I have cared for all kinds of pets including but not limited to goats, chickens, horses, pigs, donkeys etc I’m currently working full time but have a very flexible schedule and can move my hours around to meet your needs especially for early morning and later evening check ins or during work hours! I have worked with leash trained and non leash trained dogs if you have a fenced in yard. I prefer leash trained dogs for public walks with a standard leash. I love animals, their snuggles & kisses too! I have kids & animals so drool & slobber don’t bother me!
