About: Growing up, I took care of my household pets which turned my passion into a life long career as a licensed veterinary technician. I am skilled and experienced in all animal health and well-being and happy to walk, feed and care for all of your pets needs. My days are filled with caring for my own pets, my new son, and currently working full time at a local animal hospital. I am available most afternoons after 3pm. Earning your pets trust is my top priority. If you have a nervous pet, I will take as much time as needed to make sure they are comfortable. With my experience as a technician I can ensure your pets safety is my top priority. Walks will be double leashed, extreme weather conditions will be treated accordingly.

About: I’ve been doing pet sitting and dog walking for over five years now, and I have become the top caregiver in the area. I’m a huge animal lover who really enjoys spending time with animals. I will work from your home during the week. I can be out for four hours at a time on occasion for meetings. I am available within ten miles of Poughkeepsie. Kingston and Newburgh are out of my range. I follow directions to a tee when providing in home sittings, and I ensure a nice clean home upon your return. I also do my best to encourage pets to keep their minds in a calm state.

About: If you have an athletic or active dog, we are the hosts for you!!! Trips to parks (on and off leash), running the trails, and swimming in a Lake will happen every day. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I have a very open schedule. Usually I go to the park go with my family who enjoy the day doing things outside the house. If you have a last minute appointment or you need anything on the same day I do take them I have a very open schedule one works in the morning and the other one works in the afternoon so your pet will never be alone. I had pets before they pass away. We used to love our pets so much. We took CPR classes and emergency classes for pets just in case.

About: I’ve had animals since I was a child. A horse when I was 10 dogs, cats and still have dogs, cats and a horse in my life as of now have no problems with ministering medication to any animal. I am retired. Looking for a hobby that I love. I am available all times of the day seven days a week. It may be so. I have five small dogs of my own with a backyard fenced in and a doggie door for them to go in and out as they please.

About: Animals have and always will be an integral part of my human nature. To make sure animals are provided with exercise, love and compassion are ways I express my values as an animal advocate. Keeping routine is my forte. I have most experience with dogs, all breeds and sizes! Walking is how I keep routine and promote a sense of well being for both my own animals and others 😌 Currently seeking full time pet care. Exercise takes time and I enjoy the physical aspect of a healthy lifestyle. Keeping a balance of short and or long walks. Depending on the breed I could make exercise minimal or lengthy. Currently I have a 15ft by 5ft outdoor kennel. Yard is well maintained with space and away from any roads. Private residence. I keep my small dog on a lead. Lead is also an option for other animals. My yard has plenty of space for playtime and fetching.

About: I have experience taking care of dogs and cats for families and friends, I know how to read body language and know when I've crossed boundaries. I always have patience for animals. I'm working part time so I have a lot of time available to work with pets, check in on them, and stay with them if needed. I am totally available for overnights, I'm a night owl so I can always check in with a pet and take care of them.

About: I have had a variety of animals throughout my life. Dogs, cats, reptiles(even an alligator at one point). I currently have 4 snakes as well. I currently work 12 hour shifts on Thursday and Friday. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday day are pretty open now. We can certainly discuss time frames that work for both of us I request that if there are any special instructions for your pet, that you have them written out for me. I will travel to you to take care of your fur child of any age. I always respect my clients homes and pets.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I rescued my first dog from the local humane society when I was 11, and that experience started a lifelong passion for caring for animals. Before becoming a nurse, I worked as a veterinary assistant for two local animal hospitals where I gained valuable hands-on experience with animal care and handling. I developed skills in basic training, puppy socialization, reading animal body language, medication administration, subcutaneous fluids, nail trimming, grooming, and bathing. I also volunteered for several years with a local dog rescue as a foster, helping provide temporary homes, structure, and love for dogs before their adoptions. Many needed socialization, basic training, and a calm environment to help them thrive. I later served as the rescue’s foster and event coordinator until 2020. Today I share my home with three of my own beloved dogs. One of our previous dogs had epilepsy and required frequent monitoring and medication, which gave me additional experience caring for pets with medical needs. In my free time I enjoy traveling, camping, hiking with my dogs, training with our Belgian Malinois, and watching my daughter ride her horse. Caring for animals has always been a true passion of mine, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m a nurse who works three 12-hour shifts each week, which gives me several days off to dedicate to caring for animals. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. My schedule is fairly flexible on my days off, and I’m happy to work with you to meet your pet’s individual needs and routine. At this time, I’m unable to host dogs in my home, but I’m happy to care for them in the place they feel most comfortable—your home. About: I had two felines for over 15 years but they recently passed away. They were my best friends, but they hated dogs, which brought me to Rover. I love dogs big and small, from german shepherds to a Maltese, I have never had the living situation to have one. I understand the importance of a routine in a dog's life and want to make them as comfortable as possible, especially when their human is not around. I love taking them out to play in the park or snuggling on the couch. Depending on the dog's needs I will take them for a short or long walk. We will make a plan catered to your specific pet. I have experience with giving medicine. I have experience with walking, overnight care, and in-home pups. I've always wanted a dog, let me give yours all the love I have to share. I have a flexible schedule and keep my rover calendar updated! I am an early riser and like to get moving so if you need morning help I am happy to do so. I try not to be out super late so unless I am doing an overnight the latest I'd do a visit it 9pm-10pm. Unfortunately, I can no longer offer home care in my house. For pet parents, I will arrive within the designated time, greet the pet with a warm hello, check the water to make sure it is clean and full, check the food to confirm the amount eaten, take the puppy outside to relieve itself, and/or change the puppy pad if required. Give the dog some good scratches and pats and maybe a treat if available. If the dog wants to play tug-o-war or fetch I'll do some of that too. I would like to tailor the visit to the dog's routine, so as not to cause any undue stress.

About: I grew up around animals, from birds and hermit crabs to cats and dogs, my household has always been filled with pets. I have also fostered medically fragile dogs and volunteered at the Westchester Humane Society. I am passionate about ensuring all animals receive the best possible care and I will give your pet the same love I give my own. I currently work part time and I’m a full time grad student, but I have my own transportation so my schedule is open and flexible. I will schedule a meet and greet with you and your pet to learn all about their unique quirks, likes, dislikes, and routines prior to beginning services with them.
