About: Expert in aquarium animals and cats because of my axolotls, cat and senior cat. I’ve taken a liking to dog care since I was 12 years old. I work Monday-thursday from 6-10, so my availability lies before 5:30 on those days with a little more flexibility on nights and weekends. For those that need help those specific times. I have basic knowledge about dogs: food, house, walks, and handling. Though I’ve never owned a dog you may want to communicate any special instructions to me beforehand.

About: Growing up my family always owned one or two golden retrievers at a time and instantly fell in love with the breed. I worked at a dog boarding/day care facility for about 3 years. I’ve worked with many different types of breeds along with all sorts of temperaments. With that came taking care of dogs of ALL ages. I’ve handled up to 15 large dogs at a time, also handling cats. Absolutely loved my job and hope to continue working with animals:) I work at a School in Grand Haven, Monday-Friday till around 4p.m. (Sometimes later) So, my evenings are open to walks & drop-ins. My weekends are still available for house sitting, drop-ins, and walks! In the summer there is lots more availability! I was lucky enough to grow up with a mom that did full time pet sitting at one point and got to tag along on all her trips. I also pet sit for family and friends. Including overnights, walks, and administering medications, eye drops, pills, ect. So, I know how important it is to be mindful of someone’s else’s home and their four-legged (sometimes three) loved ones.

About: I have lived with many different dogs over the years and like being around them. I currently don't own a dog because I live in an apartment and want to have a yard if I plan on owning one. So walking and caring for them gives me the experience I need for my own someday. Right now it's just part time but by summer I am hoping for full-time. About: I have always loved animals. My favorite thing to do is go on walks because I get to spend time with my best buddies and I get some excercise myself. All dogs have a unique personality and I love getting the opportunity to get to know each dog. I am a pretty active person myself so I am able to power walk or even run to get the dogs energy out! My schedule is pretty flexible but I prefer mornings and afternoons (morning walks are always peaceful and nice). I am willing to travel to trails and other walking areas to give the dog a new adventure and so they do not get bored with the same walking routine. I think even dogs like to change up where they walk every now and then! My current work schedule is already extremely flexible. I am able to work around any pet care visits and walks. I would love to spend the extra time I have caring for animals as they always make days brighter! Currently I am only doing care at the clients home. We just moved and currently do not have a fence set up yet. Our two dogs listen pretty well so we don’t have to worry about them running off, but I don’t want to risk watching anyone else’s fur baby at our home until we have a fence put up! I am willing to care for pets at the clients home and can promise I won’t make a mess and will clean up after myself and the pet!
