About: I come from a family that has always sheltered, rescued, and spoiled all the fur babies that come into our lives. Patience and affection are our gifts. I work from home part time. That leaves my schedule open to caring for others pets in my home or for drop ins and walks. I have a fenced in yard and a large home with plenty of room. “Just fabulous. On our meet and greet, Barts (my cat) took to Maggie immediately. During her check-ins, I got timely updates and plenty of photos - playtime, open window time, snacks and cuddles. Excellent communication at all times. Maggie even helped me out by watering some plants, and took the initiative to take my trash can out to the curb for pickup even though I hadn’t mentioned it. About: Growing up my family always owned one or two golden retrievers at a time and instantly fell in love with the breed. I worked at a dog boarding/day care facility for about 3 years. I’ve worked with many different types of breeds along with all sorts of temperaments. With that came taking care of dogs of ALL ages. I’ve handled up to 15 large dogs at a time, also handling cats. Absolutely loved my job and hope to continue working with animals:) I work at a School in Grand Haven, Monday-Friday till around 4p.m. (Sometimes later) So, my evenings are open to walks & drop-ins. “I honestly was worried about leaving Lilly for the first time with anyone other than a family member that she knew, never having done it before. Patty invited us over for a meet and greet before Lilly stayed there so we could get her familiar with everything. Then Patty did a great job making her feel at home during her stay so that Lilly acted totally normal when I picked her up just like she was hanging out with old friends while I was gone. I would definitely ask Patty again.”
“Frances & her family were the perfect ones to take my Sadie for a week while I was away! They were able to make her feel at home and entertained enough so that she wasn’t miserable, like if she had to stay at a kennel. Plenty of treats and snuggles shared with fenced in yard to get out some energy. It was great to get daily updates to know how she was doing, and happy to know she warmed up after the first night of being in a new place. Will definitely book again if needed :)”
