She cared for my 2.5 year old golden retriever for 10 days while my husband and I traveled abroad. She was communicative and kind, not to mention fantastic with my very energetic (and sometimes anxious) pup. She was 100% present, taking him on numerous walks and scheduling play dates with our neighbor's dog. And, while not expected, she was thoughtful enough to tidy our house and ensure no mess was left behind at the end of her stay. “I have known Chandi for just under three years, and lived with her briefly. Soon after we first met I got a puppy, and Chandi immediately bonded with him. She is loving and caring with all animals, and it showed with how she always tended to my puppy when she was with us. When we lived together she always cared for my dog as her own, whether it be as simple as making sure he had water, or taking him outside to play. Now being a dog owner herself, I have seen her stand in the snow just to let her dogs play outside and get ample exercise. She kept in touch frequently and sent pictures of the activities she was doing with Wiley and Emmy, my two German Shepherds. I think they loved spending time with her. The dogs, who can be a bit much, were perfectly happy and chill when I returned home, I needed to extend three days, which Taylor handled with ease. Taylor is a true dog lover, I would love to have her back!”

About: My family has had dogs ever since I was young, and I’ve always been involved in caring for them, whether it was giving them baths, playing fetch, or walking them. Last year, I began volunteering at an animal shelter, where I learned much more about dog care and training. I also have two dogs of my own. I always make time to walk my own dogs in the morning and evening, so I can bring your dogs along or walk them separately. Just contact me to let me know what works best with your dog :) I try to provide dogs that I watch with plenty of enrichment, like playing fetch and practicing tricks. I always stay vigilant to make sure the dogs are safe.

“Emily is so sweet and was so patient and responsible with my 11 m.o. puppy!! He was recently neutered and Emily made sure he got all of his medications and wore his cone while I was away. I got updates from her in the form of pictures and messages about how he was doing, and I felt super comfortable being out for the night because of this! She also took really great care of my apartment while I was away. My dog can be a handful sometimes and she took great care of him with patience and lots of love. “Barak has been our neighbor, son's school mate and friend since 2004. Both of our families have had multiple pets over the years. He loves animals and always kind and gentle with them. He has also intermittently taken care of our pets when we went out of town. And since we had him do it multiple times obviously he did very well. As for walking animals - well Barak is very athletic and always exercising in some fashion - this would be a excellent job for him.”
