You can tell that Elisabeth has the experience and demeanor to care for animals. 10/10 she will be our first choice next time we need someone for our pups.”

I felt so comfortable with her being in our home and caring for our beloved pets. Our dog sheds like crazy (he’s an Aussie), and when we were leaving for our trip, I told her she didn’t need to vacuum (because I didn’t want to give her extra work) but I think she did, because when we got home, after she left, I noticed that the dog hair that should have been gathered along the baseboards (it can start accumulating within a day of vacuuming) was not there. WOW! I just think she is great!! We have already booked her to come back!”

He understands the schedule and needs of a dog and definitely understands what it's like to need someone look after his dogs. Based on reliability, I consider AJ very responsible and reliable. AJ and I have spent weeks backpacking in the back country with his dogs and you have to be a reliable person in that space to be successful. When we schedule getting together AJ is always focused on being on time. I have seen how AJ cares for his and others dogs while hiking on trail. He is always keen in understanding the hydration needs of his dogs. Aj is upbeat, logical, has years of dog experience, and I would easily recommend him to anyone needing rover services!”

He’s always helping with anything I need done around the house and always leaves it looking clean and organized, he also does an amazing job with my cat always refilling his food and water and playing with him. About: I am an animal lover. Having dogs my entire life, I know how hard it can be to leave them. It is my mission to provide love, comfort, and care so that pet parents can enjoy their trip. I love to be outdoors and you can count on your companion, to not only feel loved, but also have a lot of fun! I have a flexible schedule, am detailed minded and am able to take and follow directions. I have cared for many different animals to include dogs, cats, horses and dogs. I am able to care for both elderly dogs, puppies, and fur babies in the middle. I truly care for animals and love providing comfort and care daily, weekly, or long term depending on the needs of each family.

About: I love caring for people and animals alike. Caring for and being around animals is rejuvenating to me when I need to recharge after working at the hospital. I work three, 12-hour shifts/week full time as a nurse in the hospital. My shifts are variable times and days. If you reach out to me early enough, I could potentially block days off in my hospital schedule. If you just need me to stop in and feed and/or walk your pet, I can possibly do it before, or after work depending on my shift that day. I treat others' pets as I would want mine cared for. I am calm and gentle around all animals and give them their space if they need it. I have experience in training dogs, and will encourage good behavior with exercise, gentle commands, routine and treats. If you, as the owner, are disciplining your pet a specific way, I try to continue that type of training and reinforcement in your absence. I never use a harness to walk a dog as this encourages the dog to pull and one cannot hold their focus to the discipline of being led/walked. I have experience in walking all different sizes and breeds of dogs.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats in my home for my entire life. I am very good at interpreting what they're trying to say and what they will need. I am currently going to college for my bachelors degree. I have an evening job but am free in the mornings and afternoons. I am flexible with my schedule. I will take care of pets in the ways that the clients need them to. I do very well with written and spoken instructions and the expectations of taking care of your animals. :)

“Barak has been our neighbor, son's school mate and friend since 2004. Both of our families have had multiple pets over the years. He loves animals and always kind and gentle with them. He has also intermittently taken care of our pets when we went out of town. And since we had him do it multiple times obviously he did very well. As for walking animals - well Barak is very athletic and always exercising in some fashion - this would be a excellent job for him.”
