“We were so thankful to find Talon near our campground for the Bike Rally. It made riding motorcycles for a couple long days much nicer knowing they were being card for and not stuck in the RV. Would have liked more videos of play time and pics, as this was my very first time away from my puppy for more than 12hrs, but I should have expressed that earlier.”

“Monica took wonderful care of Chewy! She was communicative, flexible, and very accommodating. Would 100% recommend her and would like to have her watch Chewy again when we are in the area.”

“I wish we could give Gianna 10 stars!!! Our fur babies spent the weekend with her on her beautiful property and she took amazing care of them. We got pictures almost around the clock of them playing outside, enjoying her beautiful porch and snuggling at night. They came home to us clean, happy and pooped from adventure! We will be calling her for all of our future doggy sitter needs, and you should too!! Thank you Gianna for loving our babies so well”

“I cannot do without Krazy-K9! My happy and HIGH ENERGY dogs thrive during every visit. Both are rescues and now lead “the good life” due to their visits to Krazy-K9! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🐕🦺🐕🦺🐕🦺🐕🦺🐕🦺”

“After meeting Hector, we were able to leave our dogs with him with peace of mind! The pictures and videos he sent to us during their stay were comforting. Thank you Hector and we will use you again!!”

“All I can say is Wow! From the moment we arrived, Rebecca made our Rylee feel right at home. She got along well with and played hard with her Goldens so we could see the sights on our trip to the area. Her place is set up as a dog’s dream! If we come through again, we know where to bring our girl! Thank you Rebecca!”

“Brittany did a great job watching our CockaPoo Alfie for 4 days. She was able to watch him on short notice and sent us pictures all along the way. I'll definitely reach out to Brittany again!”

About: I'm an active gal who loves the companionship of a pooch while out and about. I love taking dogs on long walks or hikes through the woods or just down the city blocks for a quick leg stretch (and a bathroom stop). I'll be attentive to the needs of your dog, making sure they get plenty of activity, are well hydrated, and fed appropriately. While I don't have a dog of my own currently, I was a dog walker when I lived in New York City and I volunteered for two years with Border Paws Rescue in Rapid City caring for 5 - 10 pups for their pre-bedtime outings. I'm comfortable working with and providing a safe environment for the most goofy and social as well as the most solo and independent pups. I'm happy to accommodate any special needs you and your pup may have. I'm prompt and reliable. I hope to meet you and your pup soon! I work full time, but have flexibility to do bathroom breaks over lunch for kiddos that need more frequent outings. I can take pups on walks in the morning or evening depending on their activity needs. I have a small fenced in yard that is available for outside hangs. I am patient and kind and love to meet the needs of each pup where they are at. I have volunteered in a rescue and am comfortable around dogs of different temperaments.
About: As a dedicated pet sitter with extensive experience in caring for dogs of all ages, I bring a unique blend of compassion, reliability, and specialized skills to the table. My background includes training puppies in basic commands and providing attentive care to senior dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being. What sets me apart is my deep understanding of each pet’s individual needs, coupled with my unwavering commitment to providing a safe and loving environment for your furry family members. Your pets will receive the utmost care and attention they deserve, every time. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine, seamlessly woven into my schedule. Whether it's morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I prioritize ensuring that every pet in my care receives consistent, loving attention and the exercise they need to stay happy and healthy. My day is structured around providing top-notch care, making sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for. Your pet's well-being is always my top priority, and I manage my time effectively to ensure their needs are met without compromise. Creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment is my top priority when caring for pets. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure pets are comfortable, happy, and secure by following their routine, offering personalized attention, and maintaining a clean, pet-friendly space. About: My daughter Trenna and I grew up with dogs and cats and we love all their different personalities and they bring so much joy to our lives. When you get a dog it’s a commitment. They are our kids. I am looking for a partime job. What a fun opportunity to do something I love. I have three dogs/kids myself. I can’t wait to get home from work and. see their wiggly tails. They don’t care what kind of day you just had, they just want to love on you. When I am home they are wherever I am. During the day they are in their kennels. Two of them are not even 2 yet so they like their toys.
About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life! I grew up, always having at least two dogs in the house, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’ve also dog sat on many occasions for family members and friends, whether it was for a day or a whole weekend. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and of course, plenty of attention and cuddles! I understand the importance of needing someone you trust to care for your pets and you can trust me to treat your dogs like they’re my own :) I typically work three 12-hour shifts in a row which leaves me with several days off to spend with your pets during the week! This provides me with plenty of time to make sure your pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they need rather than being left alone for long periods. You can trust that your dog can feel safe and comfortable at my home in my care. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can safely get outside for potty breaks and playtime, along with access to nearby parks and walking trails for plenty of exercise and exploring. I also have toys and treats available to make their stay extra fun. When caring for pets in my own home, I’m happy to follow their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I know pets are often most comfortable in their usual routine/home, so I’ll make sure they get lots of attention and care while they’re away and of course I’m happy to send pictures and updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: With experience as a vet tech, groomer, and in boarding and daycare, I bring a well-rounded, hands-on approach to pet care. I’m comfortable with pets of all kinds and can handle everything from playtime to meds and grooming. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. Caring for pets fits seamlessly into my daily life. Whether it’s morning walks or evening check-ins, I enjoy making time for each pet’s unique needs and keeping their routine consistent and stress-free. Whether pets are in my home or theirs, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment. In my home, they get plenty of attention, playtime, and comfort. In the client’s home, I stick closely to their routine to keep things consistent and stress-free.
About: My family has had a dog since I was in high school and I have been around dogs ever since. I am here to help. I work full time and I am home every night so will have plenty of time to go for a walk or play with your pets. I have a good size fenced in yard to let the pets go play and have fun with toys or I like going for hikes and can take them with!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
