“Gianna took great care of my dog, Piper. She sent frequent updates with a lot of pictures and Piper was in great spirits when I picked her up. I would definitely recommend Gianna!”

“Talon and the fam did a wonderful job. They took good care of our pup during our vacation and really helped ease our anxiety of leaving him. Sent lots of updates and was very communicative! Will definitely be reaching out again!”

“Caroline and Alena took wonderful care of Bruno and treated him like their own. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Bruno came back happy and well-cared for. I’ll definitely use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and loving sitter.”

“The space and security Linda offers is priceless . My Border Collie was able to run as hard and FAR as she wanted. Her brother- who appears to be BullDog plus Pittie plus Terrier was beside himself to have so much space. This is some of the best money I have ever spent in regard to the well being of my pets. I could not be more pleased.”

“Henry had the best time and I could see from the photos and videos he enjoyed his stay with Brooke. I felt like he was totally safe and extremely well cared for the entire time he stayed at Brooke’s place. I know he enjoyed the other dogs and toys he played with. It was a great experience overall.”

“I had a last minute emergency and needed my kitten watched for the day. She gladly took him in to her house, and “babysat” him. Me and my little Paquito appreciate her!”

“I recently left my 2 yo dog, Wilson, in the care of Hector and his sister for 10 days while I was traveling abroad, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Hector provided good care, love and attention. I received regular updates and pictures, which gave me peace of mind while I was overseas. It's clear that Hector and his family are true dog lovers, and I highly recommend his service to anyone in need of a reliable and caring host. 5 stars ⭐️!”

“Melissa was amazing, and I'm thrilled we found her to watch our dog. She was incredibly easy to work with, she was a great communicator, and mostly importantly she took fantastic care of our dog. I will not hesitate to connect with her again next time we need a dog sitter. Highly recommended!”

“This was an absolutely wonderful place for my dog to go. They did so good with her even though she’s a nervous dog she look like she had so much fun and they sent me pictures and videos all the time they got better pictures of my dog than I can get, I would highly recommend Ali to watch your dog cause I know I’m going to be a repeat customer Thank you so much”

“Candice and her family were very flexible with pick up and drop off needs. We had good reassurance our pups were having fun with picture updates. Would definitely have them watch our dogs again 🙂”

“Our pup got plenty of exercise, and Tammara gave us updates and photos most days. A bit of a haul from town, but if fresh air and exercise are the goal, great spot for the furry friend.”

“Brittany gave AMAZING care for our two pugs! Between the daily pictures and very happy demeanor of the dogs when they picked them up, it was obvious that they were well cared for!”

About: My daughter Trenna and I grew up with dogs and cats and we love all their different personalities and they bring so much joy to our lives. When you get a dog it’s a commitment. They are our kids. I am looking for a partime job. What a fun opportunity to do something I love. I have three dogs/kids myself. I can’t wait to get home from work and. see their wiggly tails. They don’t care what kind of day you just had, they just want to love on you. When I am home they are wherever I am. During the day they are in their kennels. Two of them are not even 2 yet so they like their toys.

“Five stars! Jaiden was absolutely lovely helping me understand the Rover process. My cat came back relaxed and happy! She was an absolute lifesaver in this heat. Would 100000% book again and highly recommend.”

About: I have grown up with dogs, owned (and currently own) a dog, and absolutely LOVE them as my own. We have an enclosed dog run with a dog door onsite. They are spoiled beyond measure and treated better than a family member. I have a flexible work schedule which allows me to spend quality time with your pet! I am available on weekends and holidays, as well as weekdays depending on notice. I have a fenced in dog run with a dog door. I can easily crate your dog if that is helpful to his/her routine. I do have 2 dogs onsite but can keep them separate if needed. We live on 3 acres and walk our dogs every day! They are Family!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Piedmont
Our boys loved their stay with Gianna. She sent us updates on how they were doing everyday. We are always worried about our older dog woody staying in another household but she kept him on his routine. Eddie looked like he was having a blast! He didn’t want to leave.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
