“Fantastic! I shared with Tracy that my dog gets very anxious when new people come to the house. She was very understanding and agreed to meet outside the house and go on a walk for our Meet and Greet. My dog felt very comfortable with Tracy and had no problems when Tracy walked her by herself the next time. I am extremely happy.”

“Erin was incredible! She helped my sister and I out during a family emergency and showed up for us last minute to save the day! Incredible communication very compassionate unable to work with our quirky puppy! I highly recommend her!!!”

About: Hi!🫶🏼 I Would love to help care for your animals in any capacity. I have extensive experience with animals and have worked at a dog boarding kennel in the past in addition to growing up with pets. I have worked with aggressive dogs and am comfortable reading a dog’s cues to prevent escalation. I currently have a Bernese mountain dog who is always down for a play date and a cat who tolerates her antics haha. Bonus- I’m an ER nurse, far from a vet tech, but good for med admin if needed! With that, I do work 3 shifts a week(12 hours) that vary. So while my schedule can be sporadic, it can also be very open! I work full time 3 days a week and use rover sitters myself for those days. My schedule varies, but I am great for last minute needs as long as I’m not working! I try to stick to your pet’s routine and rules! I am also very good at recognizing body language/behaviors and therefore can prevent “incidents” from occurring like aggression on walks. I’m also happy to bring along my Berner for a play date if you’d like!
“Vanessa is such an incredible support. She thinks quick and stays in control. We have a reactive dog and she always provides a safe and supportive environment.”

“Taylor has been very helpful. She has come and walked our very energetic dog on a weekly basis and I have had 0 difficulties getting ahold of her or getting feedback about how everything went. She is very sweet and a great choice for your pet!”

About: Hi! I'm a certified elementary teacher with 10+ years of experience caring for children. During summer break I am excited to bring the same care and attention I bring to my classroom to your pet! As a lifelong animal lover and cat owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I treat every pet like they're part of my own family and will keep you updated along the way. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! I am currently a teacher on summer break so I have a good amount of flexibility for your pets needs. If you need daily check ins, walks, feedings, or just are looking for someone to give your pet some extra attention and love, I am free to do so! I am very open to learning about your pets comfortable environment and providing them care in the comfort of their own home. I currently am not sitting pets in my home but am happy to come to yours!
“This is our second time booking with Emma, and we'll happily book with her again in the future. We had good communication, the walks were for the agreed upon amount of time, and we always came home to a happy dog!”

“Tori is excellent. She is responsive, reliable and communicates well. I especially like how active she is with Rocky-gets in longer walks which he loves! Highly endorse!”

About: Being a senior makes me old school, like being exactly on time or a bit early. I subscribe to the Dog Whisperer tenet of being ALPHA and pack leader to dogs in my care. A dog in a pack is a happy dog. I only use positive reinforcement. Ex.: dog pulling on the leash can be fixed by changing directions every 4 steps to the left, walking in a square, this encourages the dog to slow down and watch his human. Dog hair is a welcome addition to a life well lived, that's why my dogs get furniture and bed privileges. One fact about my dogs i pay attention to is how many sips of water they take. On a very hot day I've seen 30-40. This helps me know easily how my pet is feeling so I can react accordingly. Maybe time to put the soft Frisbee away! I'm fully retired, and rise early, so morning walks are easy. Breakfast is next, and 1hr later another walk outside. I like to prep a bag to take to the park. My fav is Schiller Park in German Village. I don't own a pet currently, I've had some health issues that are now resolved. Having been an owner twice in my life has given me many many experiences so I am flexible.
About: I have grown up with dogs all of my life anywhere from a German Shepard to a Dachshund. I understand the importance of trusting and depending on those who care for your loved ones (because dogs are a part of the family too). I love long walks around the neighborhood and ensuring each dog is cared for specifically tailored to their needs and owners preference. Would love a dog of my own however living vicariously through my clients and supporting them in their care of their animals is the next best thing! Flexible on the weekends and mornings/evenings during the week. Caring for animals is just as much a stress reliever for me as it is for them and their owners. Can’t wait to help! I am flexible in availability and capacity for the client needs. I can be adaptive contingent on environment, medical and ability considerations of the animal(s). About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family fostered and cared for cats, which sparked my lifelong passion for animal care and behavior. Professionally, I’ve worked in a dog daycare, pet store, and boarding environment, and have spent the past two years working at an animal shelter. Through these roles, I’ve gained hands on experience caring for cats, dogs, reptiles, and small mammals. I am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and have experience working with canines who have behavioral challenges such as stranger danger, reactivity, and resource guarding. I am trained in reading canine body language and adjusting my approach to help pets feel safe and comfortable. Cats are also a particular passion of mine. In addition to caring for social cats, I have experience socializing feral and semi-feral cats and working with shy or nervous kitties who need extra patience and understanding. I am also comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and caring for multi-pet households. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I currently work at an animal shelter Wednesday through Saturday. Because of this, I am primarily available Sundays through Tuesdays for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting services. I may have drop in availability the other days after 7 pm. I do my best to keep my availability up to date and will always communicate clearly about scheduling so you know exactly what to expect. My goal is to keep your pets as comfortable as possible by maintaining their normal routine while you’re away. I understand that every pet has different needs, personalities, and comfort levels, so I tailor my care to each individual animal. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, enrichment activities, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm and respectful presence nearby, I am happy to meet them where they are. I prioritize safety, patience, and positive interactions, especially with nervous or shy pets. Communication is extremely important to me. During visits, I provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Camryn has been amazing for this first 3 weeks. She scheduled a consultation on short notice, and has been great with timing, communication, and most importantly, care of our dog. We’ll be hiring her for a long time!”

“Wow! I'm so happy Gunner was in Jennifer's care. I'm very new to Rover and our pup has only ever been in the care of family. We unexpectedly had to be out of town for the day so I scoured the Rover reviews and reached out to Jennifer the day before. She replied right away & accepted the job. She communicated her arrival at our home, how Gunner did on his walks, his eating, drinking, and behavior with a new person. I'm so happy I chose her & she accepted. I will call on her again for sure & highly recommend.”

“Michelle was excellent! She walked my two dogs twice in one day and even helped me deal with an unexpected visit from a service technician while she was at my home. She was very responsive and kept me updated on the pups. I highly recommend Michelle and will be booking again!”

About: Hello! My name is Julia and I would love to watch your dog or cat! I have had experience with puppies, regular aged dogs and senior dogs. In addition to that, I have experience with all ages of cats. I currently have 2 medium sized dogs of my own and have had a maximum of 3 dogs living in my house at once. All of the dogs that I have owned have been medium/large sized dogs. The current dogs that I own are both bloodhounds and are 3/4 year old (relatively young but very well-behaved dogs). I grew up with dogs and can not imagine my life without them. I enjoy going on walks, runs, hikes and love to include any furry friend willing to participate in those. One of my favorite spots to take my dogs is at a local park. In addition to that, I own my own cat. I love playing, snuggling and spending time with her. If you are interested in having me watch/take care of your pups or cats, please contact me! Thanks so much! Previously, I was a full time Intervention Specialist (Special Education teacher) and had transitioned to the corporate world for a few years which I just recently decided to take a break from. My availability will be extremely flexible as I take a few months away from the traditional job market and I would love to spend my time helping others! Throughout my entire life, I have lived with cats and dogs and believe in treating them like humans, more specifically, like family. I have always had a huge spot in my heart for all animals and would choose a profession related to animals, if I was not a teacher. I am a very patient, kind pet carer and can guarantee a 100% safe and trusting environment for your pets.

Brittney did an excellent job walking the dogs while i was traveling. She was communicative and consistent and my dogs loved her and the chance to get some activity in- and I loved the peace of mind knowing my dogs were getting the exercise they needed while I was away! Highly recommend.

Thea was lovely to meet and did a great job with my goldendoodle Bella. She came highly recommended and for good reasons — she was prompt and very responsive when I had to switch an aspect of my dogs care last minute. Would happily have her visit my home to walk Bella again :)

Laila was an exceptional dog sitter for us! She has great communication and is so thorough about understanding our dog’s needs and routines. She followed all instructions very precisely, and even administered our dog’s insulin after each meal. Her write-ups and photos were so detailed and you can tell how much she cares! Thank you Laila!
