About: From my experience growing up on a farm to caring for two dogs and a cat as a young professional, I've developed quite a bit of pet care knowledge and skills. I've cared for puppies and kittens and adult dogs and cat through good times and hard times. Over the years, I've learned a lot and I'm happy to use that experience to care for your's as well. My wife and I both work from home during the week so we have plenty of time for pet care. When our dog Frank was around, we would often go on walks with him and my daughter and visit local parks. Unfortunately, we don't have time to care for puppies or kittens at this stage in life but adult dogs and cats are welcome. We live in downtown Columbus in a single family home with a large fenced yard. We're surrounded by lots of sidewalks and live within walking distance to several parks. In our home, we have a large soft crate for dogs and small crates for cats, if needed. We expect all pets to be potty/house trained and dogs to sleep in a crate overnight. We don't allow dogs on furniture or in beds, but they're welcome throughout the home. Our cat, Cleo, roams the house but will often stay on the 2nd floor when new pet friends stay over. She has been great with new cats and dogs, often warming up to them after a day or two. We also have a 2.5 year old daughter who is home most of the week. She's great with cats and dogs and we expect any pets that stay with us to be comfortable with children.

About: I am a dog mom, cat mom and a part time MBA student. My two cats are very well socialized with dogs, and my puppy Suki is absolutely obsessed with other dogs. We live in an apartment in downtown Columbus with plenty of space for a small dog guest. There are small grass patches in my apartment where I can take a dog to potty, they would need to be leashed the entire time. In my spare time, I like to spend time outside walking the scioto mile, and I like to paint. My current daily routine is flexible so I would be able to provide any care necessary. I used to have a senior dog that required a lot of TLC, and now I have a 4 pound puppy with a fast metabolism that also requires TLC for other reasons. suki is partially potty trained, but we do use indoor pads and a live grass patch. It’s OK if your dog is small and pad trained, I have plenty of cleaning supplies to take care of any accidents. I take safety very seriously for all pets. My cat takes a consistent medication every night at 9 PM and we haven’t missed it for the past four years. Also small dogs take a special amount of attention to keep safe.
About: Being a senior makes me old school, like being exactly on time or a bit early. I subscribe to the Dog Whisperer tenet of being ALPHA and pack leader to dogs in my care. A dog in a pack is a happy dog. I only use positive reinforcement. Ex.: dog pulling on the leash can be fixed by changing directions every 4 steps to the left, walking in a square, this encourages the dog to slow down and watch his human. Dog hair is a welcome addition to a life well lived, that's why my dogs get furniture and bed privileges. One fact about my dogs i pay attention to is how many sips of water they take. On a very hot day I've seen 30-40. This helps me know easily how my pet is feeling so I can react accordingly. Maybe time to put the soft Frisbee away! I'm fully retired, and rise early, so morning walks are easy. Breakfast is next, and 1hr later another walk outside. I like to prep a bag to take to the park. My fav is Schiller Park in German Village. I don't own a pet currently, I've had some health issues that are now resolved. Having been an owner twice in my life has given me many many experiences so I am flexible.

This is the first time someone other than family has watched our dog and I was nervous about using a service like this and having to choose someone I didn’t know. Rayann was so warm and helpful from the beginning. She was really helpful and flexible on drop off and pickup times due to my schedule and flight changes. She sent multiple updates with pictures throughout the week letting me know how my dog was doing. My dog seemed very happy and well taken care of. “Mickeala Was so amazing with both my cats. One being a complete curious introverted cat and the other being a clingy curious extrovert. I was worried about them with dogs as they’ve never been exposed but her experience and professionalism got them acclimated so well! She was thorough and sent tons of videos and pictures which clearly showed how comfortable they truly were. They were completely themselves as if they were at home! She was very flexible with our schedule which so happened to be all over the place which required several stay extensions and easily worked with and accommodated us. About: I have had dogs all my life mainly large dogs. I am extremely responsible and always put fur babies first! I will treat anyone dog like I’ve treated my dogs at home to make sure they feel safe and happy when they stay with me :) I am a full time student but I come home in between classes and only have 1-2 classes depending the day! So I am home pretty frequently at most I would be gone 2-3 hours if that is ok but I can come home more frequently if that’s what you prefer. Minimum time I would be away is 2 just because of classes. I have grass space in my front yard and totally can walk them everyday if that’s what u prefer. I am extremely flexible and just want your dog to be safe and happy!

I'm a responsible, mature adult that loves all animals. I'm happy to accommodate specific requests based on individual needs. I live alone in my apartment.
