I have worked with the SanTan Animal rescue, the Little Traverse Bay Humane society and friends and family over the years; walking training and helping with adoptions and am using my experience and education to give the best to your pet. I'm a modified traditional and clicker trainer. I will be working with your pet as well as you if you're interested in learning my methods. I strive to go the extra mile every visit with you and your pet. During my training I will leave my tips and tricks for you. I'm the trainer and instructor you've been looking for because of the burning passion I have to impact the dog owning community. Every dog deserves to have full attention. Basic obedience is carefully implemented with every single interaction with every single dog. I have 3 dog myself. 2 service dogs and 1 puppy. I train every dog out of natural behaviors of my own. I respect every dog and every owner and their needs. I spend my days studying and writing training programs to fine tune my own approach in this ever growing world of man's best friend and the relationship with their owners. I'm open to taking care of many varieties of animals in the case you have more. I grew up on a farm for a large portion of my life and have always been amazed by the loving relationship with not only dog and human, but with any animal, big or small. Every visit is catered to training and maintaining good manners. My ultimate goal is to bring skills equivalent to a "Good Citizen" level of training even if we don't get much time I work to set steady foundations for success. Walks will not just be a easy breezy pull me around or softly walk through the neighborhood. We work on getting the dog tired and stimulated for maximum happiness of your pet. Dogs love figuring out challenges that help their comprehension of training grow and enhance the relationship between pet and handler. Seeing your dog improve on skills bring my heart so much joy sometimes I could just scream with excitement. Drop ins work pretty much the same, walking and doing house exercises to stimulate their brain and exhaust their energy in productive ways. I'll always leave tips tricks and techniques I may have used. In my home I train all day every day as I do my own dogs. Keeping their gears turning and growing their trust in me is highest of priority. My home is sectioned off into 3 parts in the case some dogs may not get along and need to be desensitized. There are 2 trainers in the home to assist with any training desensitization or other special needs your pet may have. And to take training to a comfortable but challenging level to expand that training. I always keep reflective gear and dog first aid kits on me while working with your pet. SAFETY FIRST! About: I have over 10 years of personal and professional dog walking and pet sitting experience. For 7 years, I ran an independent pet sitting business called Wan Wan Walkers out of Corvallis, Oregon. Although I was sad to leave, I look forward to making new connections in Olympia. As part of my services, I offer medical care services such as administering medication orally, topically, and subcutaneously. I also offer simple grooming such as tooth brushing, nail clipping, and hair brushing. I am pet CPR and first aid certified as well as human first aid, CPR, and wilderness first aid certified. I specialize in dogs, cats, and house rabbits. Yes, rabbits. I know how scary it can be leaving your furry friend with a stranger. With rabbits, a cat, and dogs of my own, I know how to safely handle and care for your furry friend. I am a full time pet sitter so I have the flexibility to stay with your pet at any time and can customize stays according to you and your pet's preference. For pet sitting at my house, I will be there most of the time. Pet sitting bookings will be limited to one client at a time unless expressed otherwise. Too many pets will reduce the quality of care and stress pets. There is also a separate room I can keep your pet in if they need their own space. Any and all yard time will be fully fenced and supervised.
