I have worked with the SanTan Animal rescue, the Little Traverse Bay Humane society and friends and family over the years; walking training and helping with adoptions and am using my experience and education to give the best to your pet. I'm a modified traditional and clicker trainer. I will be working with your pet as well as you if you're interested in learning my methods. I strive to go the extra mile every visit with you and your pet. During my training I will leave my tips and tricks for you. I'm the trainer and instructor you've been looking for because of the burning passion I have to impact the dog owning community. Every dog deserves to have full attention. Basic obedience is carefully implemented with every single interaction with every single dog. I have 3 dog myself. 2 service dogs and 1 puppy. I train every dog out of natural behaviors of my own. I respect every dog and every owner and their needs. I spend my days studying and writing training programs to fine tune my own approach in this ever growing world of man's best friend and the relationship with their owners. I'm open to taking care of many varieties of animals in the case you have more. I grew up on a farm for a large portion of my life and have always been amazed by the loving relationship with not only dog and human, but with any animal, big or small. Every visit is catered to training and maintaining good manners. My ultimate goal is to bring skills equivalent to a "Good Citizen" level of training even if we don't get much time I work to set steady foundations for success. Walks will not just be a easy breezy pull me around or softly walk through the neighborhood. We work on getting the dog tired and stimulated for maximum happiness of your pet. Dogs love figuring out challenges that help their comprehension of training grow and enhance the relationship between pet and handler. Seeing your dog improve on skills bring my heart so much joy sometimes I could just scream with excitement. Drop ins work pretty much the same, walking and doing house exercises to stimulate their brain and exhaust their energy in productive ways. I'll always leave tips tricks and techniques I may have used. In my home I train all day every day as I do my own dogs. Keeping their gears turning and growing their trust in me is highest of priority. My home is sectioned off into 3 parts in the case some dogs may not get along and need to be desensitized. There are 2 trainers in the home to assist with any training desensitization or other special needs your pet may have. And to take training to a comfortable but challenging level to expand that training. I always keep reflective gear and dog first aid kits on me while working with your pet. SAFETY FIRST! “Excellent service. Sonia has a genuine and special love pets. My baby Maltese Napoleon spent a day with her and when I picked him up he was happy and in a very good mood for a while after we got home. It was super easy to drop off and pick up. I will definitely bring my baby back even if I don’t need care because he even made new fur friends while he was there. Sonia also sent beautiful pictures throughout the day. Total peace of mind when my baby was on her care.”

About: I didn't have pets as a child because we weren't allowed to but in my adult life I have taken care of many different kinds of animals. Including but not limited to birds, dogs, cats, snakes, geckos, fish, frogs and ducks. My children and I have always loved animals and are truly compassionate souls! My schedule is pretty flexible at this time due to me being self-employed. I have transportation and the ability to work week days and weekends. I prefer to not crate animals but I will if that is a request of the owner. I enjoy playing with and snuggling pets. Attention to detail is key to keeping animals and myself safe.

About: Adriana & Rick will eventually have their own pets again, but until then they will share their love with yours. Their flexible work from home lifestyle with no kids/pets means your dog will receive an abundance of attention and love. We both work from home and enjoy walking ourselves multiple times a day. We will enjoy having your dog be part of our daily routine. We have all tile/hardwood floors which makes for easy clean up. Our fenced backyard gives your dog some outdoor freedom when we are not taking them on a leashed walk. Our neighborhood is very walkable and pet friendly.
