“Allie was great. My kitty Suki who has anxiety loved her, played with her and let her pet her. She even took out the garbage for us without me asking. Allie brought in the mail, sent pics of Suki and watered plants too. Excellent! I highly recommend and will ask for her again.”

“Kayla was quick to reply. Able to chat to go over Jewel’s care instructions. There were some difficulties with finding my place, and she was flexible and dependable!! Sent pics and a map of her walk. Couldn’t ask for more!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child! We have always had dogs in our family! My husband and I recently moved to Venice and we are not allowed to have dogs at our condo 😞. We miss having a dog soooo much! We want to show your dogs that they are loved and treasured by playing with them and caring for them! I’m available Mon through Sun until 5 pm to care for your sweet dog 🐶 by walking, playing, feeding or just cuddling with them. I can also care for them in your home while your on vacation! I will care for your dogs as if they were my own, with love and kindness and I will follow your house rules in the process... My husband and I are retired so we are available to take care of your sweet baby anytime you need us! We're here to love on them!!! We will need to care for your pets at your home as we live in a condo that does not allow pets...sad by true :(

About: We had a yellow lab and when he died we couldn’t replace him in our hearts. We have watched dogs for friends, coworkers, and family for many years. I work in real estate and make my own hours so I am available. I also have two athletic and active teenage sons that love dogs. We live in a gated community that is very safe. There is a dog playground in our community as well. We are a very active and will offer ample exercise.

About: Pets have been part of my life since I was born and I couldn’t imagine my life without one. We’ve had dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, birds, fish and even turtles. I’ve adopted all of my dogs, some with health problems. I also adopted a 9 year old senior that was with me for 7 years. I had a dog with diabetes and Cushing's disease which involved shots at meal times, many pills and a special diet. So I don’t shy away from dogs with medical issues or who are up in age. I have found great people for my fur babies through Rover and look forward to caring for yours so you have peace of mind. I do not work outside of the home so I am very flexible with my schedule. I currently have 2 dogs and a cat so after I have finished their morning routine, I start with clients. I never take a dog out of the front door unless they are on a leash prior to the door opening. If you have a fenced yard, I check to make sure any gates are locked and the yard is clear of any obstacles or wildlife before letting them out.

“Rylee was so wonderful! Very sweet and flexible. I had a few hiccups and she was so accommodating. She sent me updates on my puppy and was so wonderful with communication! I really appreciated her :)”

About: Growing up on a horse farm had it's advantages. I learned to wake up early and to work hard to take care of the animals who were relying on me. Now I work in healthcare taking care of sick patients as a registered dietitian! I have a flexible salary position so I am still able to care for pets, which I have always loved. I have two pets of my own, a cat named Tito and my significant others police dog, Enzo! I have experience dog walking for medical school graduates who were in residency while I was living in Texas, and many cats and dogs that required medical care (insulin shots, pills, topicals to name a few). Animals have been a part of my life since I was a child, from horses to dogs to cats to cows to less mainstream animals such as deer or opossum needing care when they lost their mother; I have a big heart for them all! Pet care is part of my daily routine when I am scheduled with your pet I will stay with them and treat them as my own. This includes feeding as scheduled, daily walks, play time and of course all the cuddles! Making sure you are comfortable while your pet is in my care is my top priority. I usually send pictures to owners daily or per their preference and follow the schedule they have laid out for them so their routine stays as normal as possible while their loved ones are away. I do work m-f at the hospital however my hours are flexible and I am salary so there aren’t specific hour restraints. Most days I work 7:30-3:30. I don’t take animals at my home right now due to my significant other being a K-9 unit! The police dog is very friendly at home, but we don’t get to socialize him much.

“Our two boys loved their drop-in visits with Kayla! She provided great details about her time with them on their Rover card, and they both were very content and relaxed when I got home from work each day. We’re looking forward to having her back soon!”

About: I currently work at a pet store, open to owners and animals of all kinds. I've had three dogs, two cats, four rats, and fish. I currently work part time and would love to have even more time with animals. I have a varying schedule each week, but I'd love to fit you in whenever I can. I am willing to work with you and your pets however you need, so that you and your pets are well taken care of. I can walk, sit, feed, water, groom, and whatever else you may need.

“Thanks Tom for watching Willow for the morning. We appreciate the photo and glad she is happy to have you at the house. We are happy you were able to spend some time at our house before we leave for the wedding this weekend. See you soon.”

About: Hey there! I am a full time work from homer watching pups as a side hustle. When I am not outdoors riding my motorcycle or mountain bike you can find me and my 3 year old cockapoo, Max cuddled on the couch catching up on our favorite Netflix shows. I am an animal lover! I am extremely trustworthy and know the importance of timeliness when it comes to pets. I will make sure your pup is treated like my own! I traveled all over the US last year (41 states) and came across rover in many of the cities I visited. I even used rover with Max on multiple occasions! Yosemite, Vegas, and the Oregon coast have been some if his favorite spots to visit! 🙂 I am attached to my phone and because I know the importance of good communication, I will be sure to send photos and updates about your pup throughout the day! I cant wait to meet YOU and your furry pal 💕

“Beth (Barbara) was fantastic - I don't know if I could have found anyone better. I knew from the moment we met that she would be great with my boys. She even crawled on the floor to take pictures of them sleeping under the bed! Thanks, Beth! I will certainly be asking you back!”

About: I’ve cared for a Shiba Inu, a Husky, two small dogs, and a cat. Each one had their own routine, quirks, and personality. I pay close attention to what they need to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether it’s keeping up with high-energy pups or creating a calm space for shy pets, I treat every animal like they’re my own. And yes, I’m always happy to spoil them with a treat or two 🤫 I work as an independent contractor, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets the time and attention they deserve. Whether it’s during the day or in the evenings, I’ll make sure they’re well cared for, having fun, and loved while you’re away. Your furry friend will be treated like family. I pay attention to their comfort, routines, and emotional needs, whether I’m caring for them in your home or on a walk. Expect lots of care, communication, and maybe a little spoiling too! 💛🐾

“My dog Jinni and I had a great meet and greet with Lisa and her dog Hank. i've been thinkjng of trying Rover for sometime. Everything went well. So glad I found someone close by and with an agreeable four legged friend. Jim in Nokomis”

About: I had the privilege of growing up in a regular farmhouse – with cats, dogs, guinea pigs, fish, chickens, you name it! Tending to these animals is the pleasure of my life. I am a student who also works part time, however, my schedule is usually free on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays! My hours are flexible throughout the week :) I understand that all pets are different- like humans, they have their own personalities! I will tailor my service to fit whatever your animal may need.

About: Hello! My name is Brittany. I have been on Rover for a few years now. I am “that girl” that will play with the family dog at a party. I have grown up owning dogs my entire life with 20+ years of experience. Currently, I live in a house with a fenced in yard. I am extremely responsible and would be more than willing to an interview prior. Your dog will get lots of exercise and love under my care! I would love to watch your dog(s) and look forward to hearing from you! Also CPR certified I work as a PT during the day. My husband is home all day and lets the dogs out in our fenced in yard multiple times a day. I am usually home by 3/4. I have weekends off. Everything is very safe and my yard is fenced in. They are allowed on the couch and have free roam of the house unless they prefer a crate.

About: There is no dog or cat, in my care, that I won't go the extra mile to keep safe. I have trained my own pets, currently my dog (Brooklyn, an English Cream Golden Retriever) will bring the mail back to the house, she will sit, she will wait, she will stay, she will go, she will lay, she will roll over, she will swim too .... all on command. My cats (both mixed breeds) love their special attention and actually come when called by name. I recommend you challenge me - and see how much love I share with your pets. One thing I don't do is get angry with any pets and I always show love, compassion and kindness to pets in my care. I am certain that you will be happy with me caring for your precious pets. First priority are always the pets. I have and protect my pets from outside threats and have nothing around the yard that could harm them. My yard is fully fenced and easy for dogs to run, fetch, play. I will take care of your pet, as if it was my pet. And I always allow the pets to sleep on our king bed if they want to.

Teresa & Michael B.
“Teresa has been watching our dogs for years now. I trust her completely and my dogs, (2 mini-dachshunds) adore her. They have great separation anxiety when they are away from us but I never worry about that with Teresa. She is kind, loving and patient with them. Teresa has helped us out when our dogs needed to be walked during the day or if we were on an extended vacation. In any scenario, my pups are always well-attended too and they are never anxious. Teresa is an absolute dog lover and my dogs can sense that. If you are in need of capable, genuine loving care and attention for your pups, you will be very glad to have Teresa caring for them.”
