Dog Walking South Valley Stream

About: I've had my dog Wolverine for 8 years now since he was a puppy and I take care of him as he's family and not just a pet. With the same treatment I give my own dog, I will give to your pet as well. Having my own pet is a daily routine of taking care of him. Being walked, fed , groomed, cleaned, and making sure they have enough play and mental stimulation. I care for them as they were my own family. I would say going above and beyond but I believe that should be the norm for treating all pets.

About: I've taken care of many pets ever since I was a little girl. Always had pets in the house, dogs, cats, even guinea pigs and a mouse. I also used to volunteer as a kid at my camp to work with the animals in the stables like the goats, bunnies, and brushing the horses. As I got older my love for animals never wavered, so I went to high school and I majored in agricultural sciences and spent my first summer there on our land-lab taking care of not only an arrange of animals, but plants as well. I also volunteered at a pet store near my high school caring for stray animals that were brought in, and at one point a bunch of baby kittens, alongside my best friend. I have always loved dogs and cats most and would love to have them as pets again. My family and I started our pet sitting Journey when we used to live out in Florida, it's been almost 2 years now, since moving back to New York City . We have gotten the chance to sit many furry four legged friends, and now I have two of our own. We would still love the opportunity to continue to caring for other's pets as well. My kids and I used to feed and give love to some of the strays we'd see in our neighborhood, back in Florida( unofficial cat lady lol 😅 ). We cannot wait to care for your furry, four legged family member. Home is well air conditioned, space to accommodate a crate if you have, and will be able to give walks around area, or nearby park. You can rest assured your pet will get lots of love and attention, as my children LOVE animals as much as I do, and jump to the opportunity to assist me with them I'm currently working part-time, so I am usually able to give walks in the morning, and in the evening after 6:00 p.m. However, on my days off, I can give walks at least three times a day. I would be able to work out a schedule that might be accommodating for the both of us. I would prefer to have them dropped off during the evening's, after 7pm. We adopted a Maltese/ Silky terrier mix dog(female), and a Chihuahua/ Terry mix dog (male). I use our bedrooms (mine and the kids) to place them in, to accommodate while the other dog is out. Or, we can use the backyard or crate.

About: I am a licensed veterinary Technologist with a bachelors degree in veterinary technology. I have 7 years experience with animal care such as behavioral health, Species specific environmental requirements, Enrichment, nutrition, and medical care. I am dedicated to my work and providing the best care and animal welfare. I am available middle of the afternoons into the evenings Monday-Friday. I am available all day Saturday-Sunday. I am available for drop in visits and providing walks to animals that would be alone for a long period of time. I care for pets providing them the proper enriching environment and proper diet for their nutritional needs. I provide a calm and quiet environment for them along with providing the social aspect when needing. I respect boundaries and read behvaior to judge how they are feeling in the moment.

And when he came back, he was tired a lot more calm than he’s been especially for being six months it was really impressive. She’s definitely someone I’m gonna reconsider hiring again if I need her for this type of situation. Also would like to point out that we loss his poop bag holder and she replaced it free of charge with one she had at home. Which she didn’t have to do. But I still appreciate so much.”

My schedule is flexible, with my strongest availability from Sunday through Wednesday for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. I'm also open to longer stays and recurring bookings during those days. Thursday and Friday availability may vary, but I can sometimes accommodate evening or overnight care if a later arrival works for your pet's routine. Weekend requests may also be possible depending on the dates and your pet's needs. Feel free to reach out with your schedule—I’m happy to see if we can find a good fit. When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is to keep their environment and routine as familiar and consistent as possible. I follow the owner's instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medications, training, sleeping arrangements, and any household rules. I take time to learn each pet's personality, energy level, boundaries, and normal behavior rather than assuming every animal should be handled the same way. I'll reinforce the commands and routines you already use instead of introducing unnecessary changes while you're away. I also understand that trusting someone with your pet means trusting them with your home. I treat both with respect, keep the areas I use clean and organized, secure doors and entrances carefully, and communicate if anything unusual happens. During visits or overnight stays, I can provide regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing and can feel confident that they're safe, comfortable, and receiving attention.

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life. I have cared for dogs ranging from pit bulls to yorkies. I love all dogs, any size. I have taken care of dogs that require medication for medical issues like joint issues and epilepsy. Friends have relied on me to care for their animals. whenever they go away. I currently live with 3 dogs, a corgi, a husky, and a maltese. I walk my own dogs 2x a day and play with them every day. I work on weekends so weekdays are dedicated to pet care. I play and walk my pets. I have a backyard so I tend to run around with my dogs everyday. Each of my own dogs requires specific needs so I cater to them. One of my dogs has epilepsy so I must give him medication twice daily and he requires a lot of attention.
