“Our dog Roscoe is 4 year old rescue who is highly reactive. He is still new to us (4 months ago) and we’re working through some of his quirks. He’s doing so much better, but is skiddish of new people and not tolerant of other dogs. We don’t like to leave him alone for too long, but sometimes you just have to be out for a while. We wanted to make sure we found him a dog sitter who could accommodate his needs and be patient with him. We did a meet and greet with Alejandra and she was incredibly kind and patient. Roscoe seemed quite comfortable with her. So this week we did a test day, and it went great. Alejandra clearly loves and understands dogs, and has the patience to handle unique needs. She reached out during the day with updates and asked us if we wanted her to work on any of his training exercises with him. Great experience all around, and we’re relieved to have an option for Roscoe when we need to be away longer than he should be alone.”

“Luis was wonderful, so good with my pup, very friendly, overall great experience, will definitely reach out again next time I’m in the area and in need of doggy day care!”

“Karen was one of the best sitters we have had since using Rover. She was incredibly responsive, hospitable to Arnie and made sure to give us plenty of updates while we were away. We could not recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve always been the “go-to” pet sitter for friends and neighbors. With my own dog 🐕 and cat 🐈 at home, I know how much they mean to you, and I’ll make sure they get plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I work from home part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to caring for pets, giving them attention, and sticking to their routines. At my home, pets enjoy plenty of space and attention! I have a large backyard for safe outdoor time, plus walking paths right next to the house for daily strolls. My 4-year-old King Charles Spaniel is the sweetest and always happy to have a furry friend around. Our 7-year-old cat mostly minds his own business—unless it’s mealtime, of course! I also have two kids, ages 11 and 5, who are gentle, respectful, and love spending time with animals. It’s a calm, loving environment where your pet will feel right at home.

About: I’ve been a devoted animal lover my whole life, with over 8 years of experience caring for my own pets. While in college, I regularly walked dogs and provided sitting services for friends, neighbors, and local families. I’ve cared for pets of all ages and temperaments, and I pride myself on noticing the little details—whether it’s a change in behavior, a favorite toy, or a special dietary need. Animals respond to genuine care, and I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and understood. I currently work remotely from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, which allows me to be home and attentive to pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits before 9 AM and after 6 PM on weekdays, and I have full availability on weekends for boarding or daytime care. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine—I love having furry companions around while I work and always make time for play, cuddles, and outdoor breaks. I work remotely full-time, so I’m home and available to supervise pets throughout the day. I share my space with four well-behaved cats who are used to a calm, cozy environment and enjoy having company. My home is quiet, clean, and pet-safe, with plenty of sunny spots and enrichment for feline guests. I prioritize safety by following each pet’s routine, monitoring interactions, and creating a stress-free space.

About: My love for animals started at an early age. As a child, I constantly begged my parents for a dog. The rule was that we could only get one when every family member was old enough to help care for it. With my youngest sibling being six years younger, I had a bit of a wait – but we finally adopted our first dog when I was a teenager, and soon after, a second joined the family. That’s when my pet care journey truly began. Since then, I’ve adopted my own pets (currently have one six year-old DSH cat) and regularly help care for the pets of friends and family when they’re out of town or at work. When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated with love, respect, and personalized care – just like one of my own. Whether your fur baby enjoys walks, playtime, snuggles, or simply prefers quiet company, I’ll make sure their unique needs and preferences are always honored. I work from home full-time, which allows me the flexibility to take walks and breaks throughout the day. I’m available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30am to 6:00pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. My schedule is flexible, so feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss specific times. I’m located near the beach, which makes for a great walking spot but I’m also happy to stroll through the neighborhood if your dog prefers a quieter route. I have a yard where we can play fetch or run around, though it is not fenced in. Inside, there’s plenty of space for your dog to explore and relax freely. If I need to step out briefly, I prefer to use a crate for their safety – if that’s something your pet is comfortable with. I also have a six year old DSH cat. He’s friendly, but tends to keep to himself when there are others in the house so he will likely stay in a separate room by choice.

About: I’ve been a dog mom for 13+ years to two wild and lovable Portuguese Water Dogs, so I know all about zoomies, drool, and muddy paw prints! I’m great with high-energy pups, belly rub pros, and picky treat eaters. Whether it’s fetch, long walks, or just good company, I treat every dog like family-and yes, I talk to them like they’re people. 🐾💕 I work as an EMT on Saturday nights, so I’m super flexible during the week and most weekends! Whether your pet needs midday walks, drop-ins, or overnight cuddles, I’ve got the time and love to give. As an EMT, I’m calm under pressure and trained to be reliable and responsible, skills that carry over to caring for pets. I only work Saturday nights, so I have a flexible schedule to give your pets the time and attention they deserve. You can trust that I’ll treat your furry family members with the same care, love, and safety I give my own dogs.

About: Hi! My name is Abby and I have been watching pets since I was a kid! My uncle next door had a dog who had 3 litters of the golden retriever mixes. I helped him raise and take care of them. In college, I was a nanny for a family with a lab and black cat. When they were out of town I took care of their pets. I nannied for a second family a few years later and babysat their golden retriever, bunny, and 2 persian cats when they would go on vacation as well. At times I would also babysit my sister’s chihuahua mix overnight. I had two cats for about 10 years.I also own three sugar gliders. I just adopted a miniature pincher mix, she is the friendliest dog and gets along with any dog or person. Pets and children are my specialty. I love all animals even if I am allergic to most of them :). I work from home mon-fri 7am-3pm. My dog gets me out of the house and if she has a friend to walk with or visit, it would be a fun playdate for her as well! I have given meds to both my cats since they are seniors. My sister’s dog had pills she had to take as well, which i would do when i babysat her. I am pretty easy going with what i need to do for who ever asks me to watch their pets because I care about what they need. I am the girl at a friends house playing with their cat and dog most of the time.

Sara G.
“I am pleased to share my wholehearted recommendation for Sara, who has cared for our beloved pet Bailey on numerous occasions over the past three years. Throughout this time, Sara has demonstrated unwavering reliability and a truly attentive approach to pet care. Bailey’s needs are somewhat complex, as she requires daily medication. Sara has handled this responsibility with the utmost diligence, ensuring each dose is administered safely and on schedule. Her conscientious updates—sent via text—kept me fully informed about Bailey's well-being during our absences. Even when particular concerns arose, Sara responded promptly and thoughtfully, managing each situation with patience and care. Thanks to her, everything always turned out well. Sara also takes evident pride in maintaining a clean and orderly environment, not only for her own pet but for others as well. Over time, she has cared for several animals, and her consistent attention to detail and genuine affection for the pets in her charge have always shone through. It is rare to find someone as dedicated, trustworthy, and compassionate as Sara. Her pride in her work is clear, and the peace of mind she provides is truly invaluable. I am deeply grateful for her service and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of an exceptional pet caregiver.”
