About: I have 5 years of experience dog walking. I have been dog sitting on and off for the past few years. I have a dog of my own that I have had for 3 years. I treat your dog as if he or she was my own dog. I am very responsive while I watch the dog. I enjoy sending lots of pictures and updates to the owner. I used to have a dog named Princess who was alive for 13 years. She enjoyed snuggles a lot! I also had a dog named Harley. She belongs to my dad now. I've had my Benji Boy for 3 years now. I used to take care of Harley when my father went away on vacation. I made sure I fed her, walked her and gave her lots of attention. I also gave her treats if she was being a good listener. I feed Benji two times a day, I add water to his bowl about 4 times a day, I take him out in the backyard every 4 hours, I walk him early in the morning before I go to my day job. Benji is very friendly and loves being social with other dogs! I will make sure your dog is given lots of attention and love. I have open availability right now until I find a full time job. Please send a message to ask if I will be available during a specific holiday. I can walk your dog in the afternoon and make sure they are fed and have water in their bowls. I go to client's homes because I feel the dog will be more comfortable being in their own environment. Usually the dog is very comfortable being in their own home and is able to get comfortable with me. If there are any rules in the house, I follow them. I make sure to keep the common areas clean if I end up staying over someone's home.

My mind was put at ease knowing such a trustworthy person was taking care of my pups and home while I was out of town. The dogs got plenty of love and cuddles while I was away. “Yhakerra was so attentive and extremely caring towards both my fur babies. It was not easy either because both my kitties are in separate spaces of the house due to one of them chasing the other and hissing/growling. However, Yhakerra did amazing and handled the separate feedings/litter cleanings like a pro. She also left the house very clean and immaculate. She was even so caring that she asked if she could carry the youngest baby, Luna to the bedroom and let her sleep in the bed, which of course I was so touched that she was so sweet to accommodate the well being of the babies. I explained to her that our dog is still new to us and in mid-training, so she should expect the walks to be difficult and she should keep them short. While we were out, she gave us constant updates, and told us he was actually doing great on walks and they got to explore, which meant he had a really good time even though we were out. When we came back he seemed so fulfilled! Also Ellie is awesome herself and knows a lot about the Westchester area. Highly recommend.”

About: I've been around all sorts of animals since I was a child, firstly with pet birds of my own, then volunteering at a farm for a number of years. Most recently, my experience as a veterinary assistant and being in school for a veterinary technician degree also gives me much knowledge in care for all sorts of animals, especially dogs and cats! I'm currently working at a veterinary hospital and have a few days where I can take time to fit pets that need attention into my schedule. Since my schedule changes regularly, my availability may change weekly, but usually does not impede on any pet that needs my attention. I have a variety of cages, leashes, harnesses, and toys for all size dogs if it is not available to the owner. Another benefit I can offer is the fact that since I also work at an animal hospital, if in the event where a pet needs attention while their owner’s are away, I have the access and contacts to help with any needs of that pet as soon as possible, with the permission of the owners.

About: As a pet owner and care taker, I am always looking in the best interest of the dog and pet owner. I am flexible to meet for first initial interactions. My work schedule is based off of a school day/school year calendar so I am always available during holidays and weekends. After school hours are flexible especially if you are located in the rivertowns. Pets are monitored via camera whenever not present in my home. Gates are place in the kitchen area to provide additional safety. Dogs will always be walked 3 times a day whenever boarding with me. I follow clear instructions provided by pet owner.
