About: Growing up, my very first chores were dog- related, so animal care has always been integral in my life. While I sadly no longer have any furry friends of my own, I am an animal person at heart. I’ve pet-sat for family, neighbors, friends, Rover clients, for pets of all breeds and sizes, and I’m very comfortable around any dogs. I grew up with 2 German-shorthaired pointers, and I was responsible for their care daily before and after school. As we (me and the dogs!) all got older, I was the primary caretaker of them in their senior years, so I’m very familiar with the struggles and ailments that come with elderly dogs. I am strong enough to lift most dogs if stairs are any issue- our dogs were around 60-70lbs. I have had roommates with cats who I’ve become very close with. I’ve always loved cats, so learning to care for them and earning their trust was so exciting. I’ve cared for the cats for a week’s time before, so would feel comfortable caring for cats as well. I love pet sitting- it’s nice to have a furry friend to visit since I lack one in my own family at the moment! Any client of mine gets all the pets and attention they could ever dream up. I am also very active, and I walk or run every day, so having a companion there is a bonus for us both! I look forward to your consideration, and if you have any questions about my experience or anything please let me know. I am currently between full-time jobs but keeping my calendar updated very frequently with my summer availability as I am hoping to pick up work either ongoing or on a one-time basis! Depending on the comfort of each pet, I always spend some time introducing myself and getting to know them at first. Spend some time petting them and getting them comfortable with my presence in their space, and next playing with them if they’re up for it. Once they know they can trust me, we’ll take the day ahead together and they’ll alternate resting, playing with toys, and walking outside. I also love to share photos with owners, so I’ll be sure to keep you posted on what we’re up to.

About: I've had cats my entire life, I pet sit for 2 dogs during the summer before I could get a job and would love for it to become a regular part of my life again. I enjoy spending time with animals sometimes more than people. I'm a college student and a caregiver currently so feel free to reach out with questions about availability. About: I’ve taken care of animals for the past 5 years, both professionally and personally. I have a degree in veterinary technician which led me to a job in an animal hospital where I learned how to handle animals, administer medication, I have also worked in the kennels. I worked for a summer at New Milford animal welfare society where I worked mainly with cats. My job duties were to clean floors and cages, and most importantly play with cats! I have also worked for one couple for the past 6-8 months who own 2 cats. Im currently working part time at an animal rescue in NY Wed-Fri! I am available to do overnights in New Milford only! Otherwise they’ll have to be drop ins Your rules, I just follow them! Let me know how you would like me to care for your pet, do they need medication? Do they need to be crated? How many times do they need to be fed and walked? I can do it all!

Today she spent the entire day with our toy poodle Georgy while we made our bi-monthly pilgrimage to my husbands doctor. He is 1.5 hours away so it’s a long day.
