“This was my first time using Rover and leaving my two cats, Shadow and Luna, in the care of a sitter. Meegan was terrific and took excellent care of my furry babies, sending me regular updates and photos. She did two drop-in visits per day for 6 days. When Meegan came for our first meet and greet, Luna who is normally timid came right out to say hello. On the second meet and greet, Luna plopped down and offered up her belly for a rub, which I took as an excellent sign! Meegan remembered every Instructions I gave from one meet and greet visit to the next, and asked probing questions to make sure she knew all she needed to care for my cats. When I got home from my trip, the two litter boxes had visibly been scooped and refilled, the water bowls were filled, and my cats seemed happy and content with no indication of separation anxiety. If for some reason (vacations/getaways) we are unavailable it will be marked on the calendar. I do my best to confirm my calendar and availability daily. Our front and back yard is fenced in and we are set back from the road. There is plenty of room to run and play. As for feeding; All dogs and/or cats will be fed separately. This includes treats.

About: I have been grooming dogs for over 18 years, and boarding clients' pups in my home for 16 years. My 13 yr old homeschooled son and I adore all dogs. We have 2 wonderful medium sized girls (Myla 8, Josie 1.5) who love all dogs and people! My career in grooming means I truly 'speak dog' and understand their quirks and needs. I have extensive experience with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I'm comfortable administering oral and injectible medications, as well as supplements. Our dogs eat a raw diet, so food & water bowls get sterilized after each meal. Since we homeschool, we spend a lot of time at home or close by with friends. My son often has friends over who love to play with dogs. This means we have a great balance of calm & quiet time, as well as active & fun time. Our lovely property has Invisible Fence for about a acre, so any dogs trained on it get to enjoy lots of untethered play time. Every dog who stays gets a temporary ID tag with my address and phone number in case of accidental 'escape' We love couch cuddles, and both of our girls sleep in bed with my son. We also have dog beds everywhere, and crates & gates available when needed.
