About: I am here to walk your pup when you are busy, tired, or simply unavailable. I believe outdoor time allows dogs to relax from the self-inflicted pressure of always looking out for us, and allows them to simply be a dog for a short while, sniffing and prancing and watching the world. As an introverted individual, I get a lot of joy and energy out of my time with animals. While I have often been described as quiet and easy-going, I am a natural leader and enjoy forming new relationships with dogs (and their lucky owners). More than anything, I am dependable, happy-natured, and I desperately need more walks in my life. I would be delighted to take some of the pressure off of being a pet parent, and shed a little love on your pet! I have knowledge in basic training, medication dispensing, and wound care. I currently work part-time from home, so I have plenty of time to stay and play! My schedule changes weekly depending on my client load, but I am always happy to try to work something out! About: Availability: All day (occasional 4-6 hr shifts) I’m a teacher with my summer off and lots of free time. I’m comfortable caring for a wide range of animals and I believe care and comfort is best achieved through maintaining consistency for your pet and providing them with plenty of attention, making sure they get fed on time, have their daily walks, and most importantly got some affection and playtime from me as well. I moved over to Rover from TrustedHouseSitters where my partner and I house/pet sit for others. I have housesit for 9 different hosts for a total of 90 nights, caring for both cats and dogs, and we had a 5-star review from all of our hosts which you can see in my pictures. My experience as a teacher has prepped me for taking care of people’s little ones at the same time and I hope to bring that experience with me when I get to know you and your pet! I enjoy running, so if your have a very active dog that would enjoy going on a run with me, I would be happy to take them with me in the morning or evening. Summer just started so I’m available with enough notice most times of day and would be happy to spend time with your pets on weekends! With my experience housesitting, I'm used to caring for pets and a host's home! I'm communicative and love sending updates/pictures of how everyone is doing. I prioritize maintaining a clean space, a set feeding and walking schedule, and spending time with the dogs to give them good company. I'm careful when it comes to walks and stick to the sidewalks, quiet roads, and parks. I am male, so if your dog is aggressive around men, please keep my safety in mind as well.
