I request a meet and greet before accepting to take care of your pet at your home to align on expectations. In this meet and greet, we would review your pet’s daily routine, dietary needs, medication schedules, and behavioral quirks. Also discuss home access, safety measures, and disclosing security cameras or household staff who may come by during the visit. For house-sitting, I will ensure consistent communication by sending 2-3 updates per day with photos and summaries of how your pet ate, their bathroom habits, and how they behaved. I will also treat your residence with respect.

About: Hello, my name is Christina. I am truly a lover of animals, and have been since I was a child. I have grown up with a range of different animal companions including: dogs, guinea pigs, birds and fish. You know that person you see on the bench surrounded by pigeons because they keep breaking off pieces of their lunch to give to them? That's me! Or, that person you always see feeding the same stray cats that live in your local area? Also, me! I also happen to be a very strong advocate for the rights and well being of ALL animals and it breaks my heart to see any treated unkindly or unfairly. Work Experience: I have extensive experience working with animals. I have been volunteering at animal shelters since I was a preteen, and later went on to becoming employed as an Animal Caretaker in my adult years at ASPCA. I have worked with a variety of animals from cats and dogs to guinea pigs, turtles, and even goats. It was a very demanding job, to put it lightly. Though, most people would assume otherwise when it comes to working with animals. But, due to my experience, I know exactly how much effort and work goes into actually properly caring for an animal and catering to its distinctive needs. I was also the owner of a small dog walking/pet sitting business outside of Rover, which I did for 3 years. Lastly, I would like to mention that I am a very detail oriented person, and a bit of a perfectionist. If I do a job, I make sure I do it well. I am also immensely compassionate and emphathic when it comes to all living creatures, so I think with these skills combined, I would be perfectly fit to look after your furry, feathery or scaly friend. I'm currently available to work anytime. I am available to work on weekdays and weekends, preferably in the mornings and afternoons. I can also be available on some evenings and overnights. If I am unavailable for whatever reason, I will immediately let the client know. I will take care of pets based off exact instructions provided by clients. Typically, I would take dogs out on long walks in the surrounding areas or backyards, play with and feed all animals, and ensure that their water bowls are changed and filled with clean water, and all litter boxes, cages or tanks are cleaned. I will make sure to be vigilant when it comes to clients' pets to make certain they are safe at all times. And, you can ensure that I will leave the clients' home clean and exactly how it was found, and once finished, all doors and windows will be locked and secured to prevent possible intrusions. I am someone who always double checks to make sure a door is locked.

About: I have experience with every kind of aged fur babies for 13 years. I’ve always enjoyed caring for animals since a young girl. I have multiple friends and family who rely on me to walk, feed, board and bathe their pets! I currently do online classes from home for Vet Technician. I have plenty of time to watch and play with your pup! I am available daily and even on call! I have three pups who are friendly with other dogs and would have a great day with one another. I have a huge home with plenty of space to provide care for your fur baby. I have a nice block to walk as needed for the care of your pup!

About: I had pets growing up-- a dog and a hamster. I used to cat sit (check-in, feed, and play) for my friend in high school. I also walked dogs for my friends in college, and have had my own cat for the past three years! I work part time and am a grad student, but only have one class-- so I am available weekends, Tuesdays and Thursdays. These days I can do visits and walks any time of day! I don't have a car so I am limited to places I can easily reach by public transportation, but I will take care of your pets the same way you would. I understand what it's like needing someone else to care for you pet and want to make sure your mind is at ease while you are away.
