About: Hello, my name is Christina. I am truly a lover of animals, and have been since I was a child. I have grown up with a range of different animal companions including: dogs, guinea pigs, birds and fish. You know that person you see on the bench surrounded by pigeons because they keep breaking off pieces of their lunch to give to them? That's me! Or, that person you always see feeding the same stray cats that live in your local area? Also, me! I also happen to be a very strong advocate for the rights and well being of ALL animals and it breaks my heart to see any treated unkindly or unfairly. Work Experience: I have extensive experience working with animals. I have been volunteering at animal shelters since I was a preteen, and later went on to becoming employed as an Animal Caretaker in my adult years at ASPCA. I have worked with a variety of animals from cats and dogs to guinea pigs, turtles, and even goats. It was a very demanding job, to put it lightly. Though, most people would assume otherwise when it comes to working with animals. But, due to my experience, I know exactly how much effort and work goes into actually properly caring for an animal and catering to its distinctive needs. I was also the owner of a small dog walking/pet sitting business outside of Rover, which I did for 3 years. Lastly, I would like to mention that I am a very detail oriented person, and a bit of a perfectionist. If I do a job, I make sure I do it well. I am also immensely compassionate and emphathic when it comes to all living creatures, so I think with these skills combined, I would be perfectly fit to look after your furry, feathery or scaly friend. I'm currently available to work anytime. I am available to work on weekdays and weekends, preferably in the mornings and afternoons. I can also be available on some evenings and overnights. If I am unavailable for whatever reason, I will immediately let the client know. I will take care of pets based off exact instructions provided by clients. Typically, I would take dogs out on long walks in the surrounding areas or backyards, play with and feed all animals, and ensure that their water bowls are changed and filled with clean water, and all litter boxes, cages or tanks are cleaned. I will make sure to be vigilant when it comes to clients' pets to make certain they are safe at all times. And, you can ensure that I will leave the clients' home clean and exactly how it was found, and once finished, all doors and windows will be locked and secured to prevent possible intrusions. I am someone who always double checks to make sure a door is locked.

For pets staying with me, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable environment and giving them time to adjust at their own pace. Because I have pets of my own, I take introductions and interactions seriously and would never force unfamiliar animals together. I’m attentive to behavior and body language and will always prioritize what makes each pet feel safe and comfortable.

Over the years, I’ve worked in several professional pet care facilities, gaining invaluable experience. However, I realized I wanted to provide the same level of personalized care I’d expect for my own pets. That’s why I decided to set out on my own, offering compassionate, tailored care for every furry friend I meet. I currently have an open schedule and can accommodate most requests. I only will take one owners pets at a time in my home so please keep this in mind if you need boarding services. I have a large fenced yard with 3 sides blocked by buildings giving dogs a safe secure place to exercise and relax. I also live near Branchbrook park for longer walks. About: Ever since i was around 13 i’ve been taking care of animals, wether it was for babysitting for a family member or just my dogs. I currently have 3 dogs right now and I love it so much. Learning that every dog is so different and special in their own way is what I really enjoy about taking care of them. besides that, I’ve taken care of animals from 11 years old and down to almost just 6 months old, needing to nature it back to health. i’m definitely not licensed but i have a lot of experiences that have definitely helped me get a better knowledge and understanding for them. currently i’m just waiting to send out my application for school in January, so im completely free all of December to mid January. My time is mostly put into my 3 dogs and maintaining a schedule for them throughout the day so why not add more friends for them. I have a fenced yard that they can stay in but, if you dog is potty trained of course i have around 3 potty pads on the floor throughout the house. My animals are extremely friendly but, if there was a problem between any of the animals i’d 100% be separating them with no issue. I have and upstairs and my dogs are very homebody. they love staying in my room and just really sleeping.
