About: I've been pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. Apart from my current two dogs, I've also raised three previous dogs from being a puppy into their senior years. I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement training, every dog deserves the utmost love and care. I own my own business and set my own hours so I can accommodate anyone's pet care needs. I'm fine with short notice requests and can work with anyone's schedule! I have two dogs that can run around freely in my fenced in backyard. About: Since birth, I grew up around all different kinds of animals. I’ve raised 3 beautiful pit bulls and lab mix while also having the opportunity to dog sit friends pets from Golden Retriever’s to Yorkies. About: Hello, my name is Christina. I am truly a lover of animals, and have been since I was a child. I have grown up with a range of different animal companions including: dogs, guinea pigs, birds and fish. You know that person you see on the bench surrounded by pigeons because they keep breaking off pieces of their lunch to give to them? That's me! Or, that person you always see feeding the same stray cats that live in your local area? Also, me! I also happen to be a very strong advocate for the rights and well being of ALL animals and it breaks my heart to see any treated unkindly or unfairly. Work Experience: I have extensive experience working with animals. I have been volunteering at animal shelters since I was a preteen, and later went on to becoming employed as an Animal Caretaker in my adult years at ASPCA. I have worked with a variety of animals from cats and dogs to guinea pigs, turtles, and even goats. It was a very demanding job, to put it lightly. Though, most people would assume otherwise when it comes to working with animals. But, due to my experience, I know exactly how much effort and work goes into actually properly caring for an animal and catering to its distinctive needs. I was also the owner of a small dog walking/pet sitting business outside of Rover, which I did for 3 years. Lastly, I would like to mention that I am a very detail oriented person, and a bit of a perfectionist. If I do a job, I make sure I do it well. I'm currently available to work anytime. I am available to work on weekdays and weekends, preferably in the mornings and afternoons. I can also be available on some evenings and overnights. Typically, I would take dogs out on long walks in the surrounding areas or backyards, play with and feed all animals, and ensure that their water bowls are changed and filled with clean water, and all litter boxes, cages or tanks are cleaned. I will make sure to be vigilant when it comes to clients' pets to make certain they are safe at all times. And, you can ensure that I will leave the clients' home clean and exactly how it was found, and once finished, all doors and windows will be locked and secured to prevent possible intrusions. About: Growing up. I had five dogs. Four of them lived up to 14 and 15 years of age. One of them still lives with my sister and it’s currently nine years old. All my life I’ve had experience with dogs and even cared for them up until their senior stage. Even though my dogs are no longer with me, my love for pets still lives on. I recently just finished College, and work less days in my job. So I’m free a lot of the time now, which will help me provide an organized routine for pets. Whether that’s is feeding them, walking them, and spending time with them. When I had my dogs, I would take them outside to my backyard and stay with them until they were finished, and then they were able to walk up the stairs and go back inside. They have their house set up really well and have seen it all. They gave us lots of updates and are very safety focused. I especially appreciate them putting airtags on the dogs upon check in and every entry/exit point is double gated. Really conscientious dog lovers who set up towel pathways for my dog who gets scared of tile/wood floors. Will for sure use again!”

After recently losing her sister of 13 years, Brooklyn has struggled emotionally and requires extra patience and understanding because of both her grief and old age. We are beyond grateful for the love and comfort Caitlin gave Brooklyn during her stay. She treated her like family, and that means everything to us.
