“We feel so lucky to have found David; truly, we only wish that we had found him sooner! He is reliable, considerate, and, most importantly, our dog LOVES him. Our dog is older, with some medical issues, and can be standoffish to new people but David won him over almost immediately. We always have complete confidence and peace of mind that our dog is well cared for.”

“Madison did a great job caring for my cat Penny! She watched her over the course of a week and was extremely communicative and kind. She took the time to play and provide companionship for Penny, and was very reliable. I trust her completely with my home and my girl! Will definitely rebook Madison in the future!”

“Great attention to detail, very kind, accommodating, and loving to animals! Felt so comfortable knowing she was caring for our babies while we were away. Daniela is fantastic. We will hire her again!”

“Hanaya was so great with our mini goldendoodle. she was available last minute and really helped us in a crush. Hanaya is very reliable and responsive, and I would definitely use her again!”

“Ryan did a great job! Tashi is a shyer cat so it was really nice to see her warm up and seek out attention within a few days. She was clearly well taken care of while i was away.”

“Ursula was amazing! Went above and beyond to care for my girls and was a very quick responder. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone looking to feel confident and comfortable in their pet sitter!”

“Nina is so great! She is so quick to respond and was able to accommodate a very last minute meet and greet and drop in services for our pup! She is very communicative, sends great updates, and our pup loved her. Will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!”

“Extremely impressed with Maria taking care of my cat. My cat is newly rescued and very scared of people. While I was away my cat found some places I didn't even know were possible to hide that were probably not very safe for a cat. Maria went out of her way to get my cat out, and prevent her from going back. By the end of the week my cat was even opening up a bit towards her.”

“Alyssa was great! My kitties were so happy in her care. She is super reliable and dependable! Will definitely have Alyssa watch my cats again! Thank you Alyssa!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life—I’ve had cats for as long as I can remember and have spent the past 15 years caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m especially experienced with large breeds, pit bulls, and senior dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family, and I treat every pet as if they were my own—with care, comfort, and consistency. Whether it’s playtime, a walk, or a quiet evening in, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and at home I have a full time job but work from home every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. We have a cozy house and yard and am happy to drop by! I have a super fun and well behaved (big) dog named Louie, who is a huge softy but a lot of fun. We also have a loving cat named Woodstock! We also have a separate floor I can keep the animals on if necessary.
“Emma is amazing! As a new pet owner I appreciate that I can count on her to help and she has also been a great source of tips as we get to know our new puppy. Very grateful I found her.”

About: I’ve been a dog walker and sitter for a while and love helping pups feel happy and safe. I can help with potty training and simple commands like sit, stay, and good leash manners. I’ve also cared for senior dogs who need a little extra TLC. Besides dogs, I’ve taken care of cats and other small pets, making sure they’re fed, clean, and get some love while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family! I have a peekapoo named Gracie, so pet care is already part of my day! We do walks, playtime, and snuggle breaks, and I’m happy to fit your pet’s needs into my routine too. I’m flexible and love having extra furry friends around! I always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours. I keep a clean, calm environment, and I’m mindful of each pet’s routine, including feeding times, walks, and any medication they need. I supervise outdoor time closely and take things slow if your pet needs time to adjust. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while your pet is with me.
“Katie was amazing all around. She did everything I asked and took great care of my cats. I was anxious about leaving them for 6 days but she made me comfortable and allowed me not to worry during my vacation.”

About: Pets have always been part of my family, so caring for them feels natural to me. As a young teenager I learned how important it is to give them consistent attention, love, and structure. Over the years I have taken on the responsibility and privilege of caring for folks’ pets while they traveled, making sure they felt safe and happy in their routine. I would love to offer that same peace of mind to others. Your pets will be treated like family, receiving steady companionship, playtime, and affection while you are away. I work early mornings as a bread baker, which means my afternoons and evenings are wide open for pet care. I have plenty of time during the hours most people are busy at work, so your pet will get attentive care, regular walks, and the companionship they need throughout the day. I have experience caring for pets in their homes and always follow each owner’s specific routine. However you care for your pets day to day, I will keep that same structure in place so they feel comfortable and secure while you are away.
About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, from hamsters to rabbits to cats and dogs! I’ve always been an animal lover who wants to keep your pet safe while you’re away. Comfortable with big and small dogs with any energy level! I can teach basic tricks but willing to try anything with your doggo! I work full time but am hybrid (2 days in office/3 days at home). I’m able to take breaks for walks or cuddles very often! I’ll follow your direction on your pets safety but I have a pet friendly apartment with a dog run and wash station if they are staying with me!
About: I have years of experience caring for dogs of all ages & multiple breeds, from playful puppies to senior pets. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every animal as if they’re my own. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or administering special care, I focus on keeping your pets happy, healthy, and safe while you’re away. I work in person Monday and Tuesday, but every other day I work from home and my hours are very flexible so I will be extremely attentive to your pets needs! I make safety my top priority by closely following any routines or instructions you provide. In your home, I respect your space and ensure pets are comfortable, secure, and never left unattended. In my care, pets get a clean, safe environment, regular check-ins, and plenty of love and attention so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
About: Since I was ~12, my neighbors would always bring their dogs for me to watch/walk while they were on vacation. More recently, I have also walked friends and neighbors dogs while they are at work (I work remote). I work remote in a flexible job, so I’m able to give lots of attention to your dog. I can walk them 4+ times per day depending on your needs, I live right near grass if they only want to go out to pee, and I am a 1 min walk from a small dog park if they love to run off leash. I live in an apartment with my own dog, so I always make sure everything is pet friendly - no harmful cleaning chemicals, air filters, only dog treats. I even have a reverse osmosis water filter to give your doggo luxury water :)
South End pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ursula was amazing! My super antisocial kitty was in really good spirits when we got home after a weekend getaway. That never happens! Ursula must have a magic wand or pixie dust to get her out of her hiding spot twice while we were gone. She even caught her on camera. Miracles!!! I will 100% rebook with her.

Anna is a true animal lover! She came prior to her 1st visit to meet my cat and she also met my 2 puppies and they loved her! My cat that is very shy and reserved, was really happy to see her while we were away. I’ll be definitely asking for her help again!

Melissa is an excellent dog sitter, would recommend her to anyone! She did several drop-in visits during a weekend while we were away and was super communicative and great with our pup. She sent me several photos and videos that truly melted my heart, it was so clear how good of care she was giving to our girl. I have fullest intentions to work with Melissa again in the future when we need her as she is very reliable, compassionate, trustworthy, and an excellent dog sitter. Finley loved her!

Extremely impressed with Maria taking care of my cat. My cat is newly rescued and very scared of people. While I was away my cat found some places I didn't even know were possible to hide that were probably not very safe for a cat.
