About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, I currently have have one dog, a pittie lab mix, and I love taking care of her. Happy to work with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I work a full time job that is remote. Advance notices are appreciated for cancellation. I can do same day booking if it’s between 12-1 or outside of regular office hours. Would love to work with your furry friends. I have a dog and a dog friendly apartment with lots of space for walking in private grounds. I take dogs on walks with plenty of treats for active training.

About: I'm Steven, a former science teacher who turned a lifelong love of animals into full-time pet care. I've cared for my own dogs for years (John, a Yorkie, and Lucy, my senior Chihuahua) and have looked after friends' and neighbors' dogs, cats, and small pets for as long as I can remember. I'm Fear Free Certified and Red Cross Pet First Aid & CPR certified, and I'm fully insured and bonded. Teaching taught me patience, routine, and how to read what someone needs when they can't say it in words, which is exactly what good pet care takes. Every booking is handled personally by me, so you'll always know who's showing up at your door. I do this full-time, so your pet is a priority, not a side gig. For house sitting I keep your pet on their normal routine, same feeding times, walks, and bedtime, and I send photo and text updates throughout so you can relax while you're away. I follow feeding and medication instructions exactly (I give my own senior dog his meds on a strict schedule, so I take it seriously). Every booking starts with a free meet & greet so your pet and I are comfortable before anything is confirmed. Since I come to you, your pet stays in their own home, familiar surroundings, their own bed and yard, which keeps them calmest, especially seniors and anxious pets. I treat your home with respect: doors locked, mail brought in, plants watered if you'd like, everything left as I found it. I have two dogs of my own, John, a Yorkie, and Lucy, a senior Chihuahua, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy pups to gentle senior care.

About: I love all pets. I’ve taken care of over seven different dogs ranging from 8 weeks old to 15+. I’ve administered medication orally and topical long walks and assistance after medical procedures. About: Growing up with pets, it’s something that I’ve naturally always loved. I enjoy seeing my pets pampered and happy, and it’s a joy that I hope to express with other people. I’m currently a student and work part time. Class 9:00 AM - 12:15 on Tuesday-Thursday (in Stamford). I usually work mornings Fri-Sun (in Norwalk) and could get out 1:00 or even 4:00 but never later than 5:00 pm. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex and neighborhood. There’s a lot of space for walking or playing right outside. In my own home, I have a playpen for my pups whenever I’m not home so that I know they’re safe while I’m away.

Having never met her, leaving my house keys was honestly a bit uncomfortable for me. however, given her excellent reviews, i decided to just trust and go for it. elvia came exactly on time, fed and played with my dog for a half hour and then left. everything went just as planned. her communication was great, which was essential, and put me at ease. i had a postive experience.”
