“Ashlee did a great job taking care of our shy kitty. Our cat likes to hide in a few different spots and Ashlee reach out to make sure that her behavior was normal. She took great care of her and we came home to a very happy kitty. We will definitely be reaching out to Ashlee again in the future to take care of our fur baby!”

“Cierra was great! She came for a meet and greet in advance and made me feel totally comfortable leaving my cats in her care. She provided updates and photos each day and spent time playing with them and petting them. No issues and came home to happy cats!”

“Virginia took fantastic care of our two fur babies! We appreciated the time she took to make sure they got lots of playtime and love. The daily pictures were a treat as well. We will definitely book her again!”

“Katelyn did amazing with our two cats, (one with medication requirements). Having Katelyn there was such a weight off of our shoulders. She even earned the trust of our extremely skittish cat who hides from any other guest. Within a few days Katelyn was sending us pictures petting and playing with both and I couldn’t be happier.”

“Saundra was very quick to respond to my very last minute request and it was greatly appreciated. She was thorough and left us observations on what she saw about Ruby every day, which made me feel good about her trustworthiness. She also was nice enough to come over to get the key from us before our vacation and drop it off afterwards. Recommend!”

“Jessica took great care of our cat, Fitzgerald, while we were out of town for a week! Communication was easy and quick, and we really appreciated all the pictures and videos she sent us! We would highly recommend Jessica to care for your pet.”

“Breana was SO kind and so accommodating and easy to work with. My more timid cat came out to say hi to her on the drop in visits so I know she made them feel so safe! Very happy with Breana and will 100% be working with her again in the future.”

“Kimberly is AWWWWWW-MAZING!!!! She’s punctual, take great care of my babies not just feeding and poop scooping but also playing with them! She even caters to Binx when she hides under the bed by putting her tiny food bowl (breakfast) next to her right there! Love the communication and pictures!!!”

“Carolyn was wonderful. She kept us updated constantly over what she and Harper were doing. She sent pictures, etc. I'm so thankful that we were able to schedule her last minute and we will definitely be using her again.”

About: I've always had a connection with animals. I know how to give medications as needed. I've always been asked to pet sit since I was 10. I currently work full-time as a front desk receptionist at a hotel. I used to own my pet sitting business but life happened and COVID happened so I had to go back to work full-time. I have been wanting to pick back up pet sitting because it made me happy. I work afternoons 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm so I could check in before and after work. Or if staying in your home then I'd be gone for 8 hours if I'm working during that time. Either way, I'll be present and loving the whole time I'm there. I will follow whatever instructions you leave me. Plus, help them feel loved while you're away. There will be no worry because they will be in good care.
“We were home for 2 weeks and melody did several 1 hour visits with our cat. He loves her and we had peace of mind knowing she was checking on him. She is great to communicate and very kind. We will use her again in the future!”

“She was very responsive, came as planned and did everything to keep my dog, Willie comfortable and happy while we were away. I am so grateful for her. I would use her again for sure!!!”

About: I’ve owned pets since I was born, even now I own 2 rescue cats, 2 golden retrievers, chickens, ducks, too many tanks and fish to count and often many rescue animals. I’m the girl that stops my car and moves snakes, alligator snapping turtles and all manner of creatures from the road. I’m not scared of any pets, or animals. I love to meet new furry friends and often am told I have “a way” with animals. My nick name as a child was Snow White. One day we hope to own a farm. I graduated college as an EMT, so I have wound care experience and also am trained in natural medicine as well. I’m the mom of 3 and have the privilege of being a stay at home mom of humans and animals. I’m free most of the time to help care for those who need help! I often dog sit at my home with my family as supportive help for playing with and caring for those in our care. My kids adore walking, playing and loving on any pets. I and (if desired) my kids can easily come to care for your loved ones at your home as well. We cater to preferences and love animals of all kinds! Furry guests in our home usually sleep on a kid and their bed all night unless other preferred requests like a kennel if you don’t want them spoiled.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Some of our favorite family memories are walking our dog, Duke, on the trails with the kids. For several years, we also worked closely with a neighbor who trained dogs. Whenever she traveled, we cared for the dogs she had in training, giving them consistent structure, attention, and lots of affection. After recently losing Duke to cancer, I’ve decided to share the love I have for him with other dogs rather than trying to replace him. I understand how much pets mean to their families, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. I also regularly care for my daughter’s cat (and kitten!), and they’re always a little spoiled when they head home. I truly love animals and enjoy providing them with a safe, loving, and attentive environment. I work during the day but maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to offer morning, mid-day, and evening visits and walks. I am available on weekdays and most weekends for daily drop-in visits and dog walking services. I strive to accommodate clients’ schedules whenever possible to ensure consistent and reliable care for their pets. For daily visits, I provide attentive, reliable care tailored to your pet’s routine and needs. This includes dog walking for exercise and enrichment, as well as dedicated time for companionship and play. I engage pets with their favorite toys and activities to make them comfortable. I also ensure they are properly fed, have fresh water, and that all of their daily care requirements are met before I leave.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old, I’ve done friends, family, family friends. They all trust me to feed, bathe, and make sure everyone is safe I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of times to take care and play with ur pups! I’m available any day of the week and weekends after 12pm I always make sure my dogs are on a leash since we don’t have a fenced in yard, I always keep a close eye on the dogs and make sure they can’t get off the leash or if a client does have a fence they can’t get out of it somewhere
About: I've been house and petsitting with my husband Eric for about 5 years now. I'm currently road-tripping around the U.S. and have looked after so many pets and homes in Texas, Colorado, Tennessee, Georgia, Arizona, and California. I love animals, traveling, and being outside—so going on walks (whether it’s around the block or out on a trail) is one of my favorite things to do with the pets I care for. I’ve looked after dogs and cats of all ages and sizes and have experience giving medications too. Since I don’t have pets of my own, I’ve really enjoyed being an "aunty" to so many sweet animals along the way. I've also loved making so many friends (both furry and human) along the way. Spending time with animals really fills me with joy! My schedule is really flexible right now, so I’ve got plenty of time to give your pets all the love and attention they need. I’m available weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to adjust to their routine—whether that means early meals, midday playtime, or evening walks. I'm up for anything! I currently only care for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and safe. I'm super respectful and treat your home like it’s my own—you can count on me to leave everything clean and tidy: fresh linens, clean bathrooms, and everything back in its place. I do my best to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible to help them feel at ease and keep things running smoothly while you're away.
South Cleveland cat parents share their Rover experiences
I never used rover before this trip and it was a great experience! I’m so happy to have found Ashlee to look after my baby! She was great at communicating, sent me awesome pictures, was great at reading my boys personality in giving him some space to warm up to her. She was willing to clean up his little puke mess and told me about it right away. I would absolutely recommend Ashlee for your pet sitting needs and look forward to seeing if she is available to look after my kitty on the next trip I take.
