“Linda stayed with my older dog who had never been left with anyone and my cat who is shy. I could tell my pets were well taken care of. My house was spotless, probably cleaner than when I left. We were only gone for a day but, hopefully, next trip longer and definitely will use Linda again!”
“So happy to have CAundra watch our girl while we were away! She was responsive, sent pictures and updates, and took great care of our dog and our house. We're so glad our dog was able to stay comfortably at home, and CAundra made sure we felt that way too! 10/10 would recommend :)”
“Samantha took great care of my pups! She provided lots of pictures and took them on many walks! My dogs always enough any time Samantha takes care of them! This is my second time booking with her and it won’t be my last!”

About: I’m exceptional in training puppies, cats and dogs. If necessary I can discipline although I prefer positive encouragement towards good behaviour with rewards. I love teaching commands using an animals favourite treat or a clicker, whichever is more effective. When it comes to older animals it’s critical for me to be aware of and understand their history. Dietary restrictions, sleeping/eating habits, medication and application processes, etc. I love all animals but ultimately will treat them as family with the love and support they each deserve. I’m currently working as a part time Youth Director at a local church so I have plenty of time throughout my days to play with and care for your furrr babies. My main goal currently is to fill in the gaps of my day to day with joy and happiness that only pets can bring. We all need something to look forward too to make life enjoyable and for me right now that’s figuring out how to play with as many animals as possible to make sure they’re all loved while you’re away. Our home has as expansive enclosed back yard for dogs to run around in and play or simply take a potty break. Our living room and kitchen area are great open places for cats to explore and the basement is very clean and comfortable as well. Although, I prefer to go to a cats home instead because as you know being a cat owner most cats dislike change of environments or any change in general for that matter. When it comes to walks I like to take as many precautions as viable. Dog parks are available and accessible more so during the day. There are plenty of nearby parks in my neighbourhood as well as bike paths and sidewalks. I’m open to any suggestions for locations or preferred methods of transportation as some animals dislike car rides so a simple walk around the block would suffice. I take any and all advice seriously when it comes to the attention and care of your animal.
“Mandy did great under challenging circumstances. This was our first time using a sitter since getting the dog from the Humane Society a year ago, and the dog took us by surprise with stranger anxiety - not wanting to be touched or approached and urine accidents. I take the blame - In hindsight I should have arranged trial stay(s) many months in advance of our weeklong trip, not just a meet and greet a week in advance. Mandy handled it well. She persevered despite the accidents and communicated candidly with me about how the dog was reacting and problem-solved with me. She figured out how to let the dog out without approaching it, and kept both the dog and cat fed and watered, though walks were not possible. She even came to let the dog out over lunch on weekdays, which was above and beyond our original agreement. The cat loved Mandy - I thought the cat would be the one wary of strangers, and she let Mandy pet her by mid-week. Mandy was very tidy and conscientious and left the house in great condition. She even set out my bait when ants started coming in. Huge appreciation to Mandy.”

“Emily is fantastic. She took such great care of our pup, Jenny. I really feel like she treated her in such a kind and special way. She took her for walks, sent us pics and communicated really well. I never had a single issue with Emily. I plan to hire her again. I would definitely trust Emily with any animal you have.”

About: I spent all day at home to take care my cat. Feed, wash their hair every week, and some time take them go outside to hangout I'm a student. I have a plenty of time to play with cat. I go to school from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Sometime I learn at home I have a friendly cat at my home. She is very friendly and maybe shy a litte bit. I can stop by at your home to take care of your pets.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for 5 years, and it honestly never feels like “work” — it feels like hanging out with the cutest little personalities on the planet. I’ve looked after energetic pups, shy rescues, seniors who need a slower pace, and everything in between. I understand pet body language, I adapt to their vibe, and I know how to make them feel safe, happy, and understood. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just giving them company when they’re missing their humans, I match my energy to what your pet needs. My goal is always the same: keep your pet comfortable, calm, and cared for. Because I’m currently job hunting, I have plenty of free time to dedicate to your pet. That means more availability for drop-ins, flexible scheduling, and longer, more relaxed walks or hangouts if your pet needs extra attention. Your pet will never feel rushed — they get my full time, full presence, and full patience. Your pet’s safety is my biggest priority. I take a very intentional, calm approach to care so your pet always feels secure and protected. I pay attention to the details — locked gates, secure leashes, clean water, correct feeding times, and any specific instructions you share. Trust matters, and I work to earn it with both you and your pet.
“Kayley did wonderful with my boy Theo. She's a natural with animals. My dog is a high anxiety hot mess and she handled him perfectly. Thank you!”

“Kyelene got a 5 star rating from our household! The girls, (2 dogs and a cat) were in very good hands. After meeting Kyelene, I knew our dogs would be in very good hands. We got pictures sent to us which was nice. The house was as clean as I left it which I appreciated. I would highly recommend Kyelene for your houesitting/dogsitting needs.”

“Ingrid is the best. She is our go to for dog sitting. She takes care of our boys as if they are her own. Her experience and knowledge really showed over the 4th of July week as our husky has a hard time with fireworks. She helped him feel more at ease during through out the week when the fireworks were constantly going off. She also made sure to communicate with us during this time so that we knew he was doing alright. We love Ingrid and our boys love her as well. We will definitely continue to keep booking her!”

“Kary was so great with our baby Milo. She sent pics and videos daily and we could tell he was super happy. It’s hard to find someone with such good energy and a love for dogs and Kary was fantastic.”

About: I’ve taken care of reptiles, rats, dogs and cats for many years. I always spend extra time with all the animals in my care and love them as my own. I know how to groom dogs and train them as I have spent a lot of time raising and training puppies. And I’m excellent in watching after cats and making them feel comfortable. I love playing and providing physical and mental stimulation to all pets. And a low stress environment. I know how to train basic obedience commands and manners for puppies and adult dogs as I have with dogs I have watched as well as my own even advanced commands. I work 12 hour shifts 15 days out of the month so for 15 days I am completely free and I only work 2 days in a row. but on the days I work I am still available for drop-ins, dog walks or boarding and I am able to come home at the 6 hour mark to let the dog out and play for a 20ish minutes. My schedule is a little abnormal. Since I’m free for half of the weekdays of the month I have a lot of time on my hands and am more then happy to drop in,walk or board your pup or cat. During house sitting, I make sure to keep their routine as consistent as possible, offering plenty of love, playtime, and attention so they feel at ease while their owners are away. For drop-in visits, I focus on giving them quality one-on-one time, whether that means feeding, refreshing water, play, or cuddles, whatever they need most in that moment.
About: I grew up taking care of indoor/outdoor cats, and outdoor hunting dogs. I have 3 cats of my own currently and often sit for family and friends’ pets. I am currently in between jobs, so my availability is open to care for your pet. I am happy to do weekends, and can stay overnight if needed. Pet care will need to happen in your home, as my home is not suitable for boarding. I am comfortable with walking and crating and I am respectful while in someone else’s home.
“Afton was absolutely amazing! She was so very kind and attentive to our pups, provided them with continuous love and affection, and communicated in a prompt and timely manner! My husband and I HIGHLY recommend her, and will be using her again. Cannot say enough great things about her!”

“Ellen was AMAZING!! My pup has a big personality and can be a bit of a handful at times, Ellen was very confident with him and had no issues at all. She gave me many updates and put up with my dog mom check-in's. Ellen also left our home spotless!! Having her at our home put our minds completely at ease while we were out of town. We'll definitely be using her services again!”

South City Community pet parents share their Rover experiences
Adriana is special. From the initial meet-and-greet to the end of the house and pet sitting contract she was professional, courteous, knowledge and kind. Adriana helped us determine that our orange tabby suffers from fearful anxiety when we travel. She worked with Bubba for hours to gain his trust. Her understanding of feline behavior is impressive. Her communication regarding the situation was detailed and timely. I'd rate her at ten stars if I could.
