Pet sitting is a big part of what I do, but there will be days when I'm out of the house for a few hours or longer (on occasion up to 8 hours, but that's not a regular thing) tending to my other work. For the most part, I have ample availability during the week and/or weekends for pet sitting or other pet care...and I will divulge any prior obligations that would pull me away for large chunks of time before we book to make sure you're comfortable with my schedule during the stay. I also take home security seriously—keeping doors locked, alarms or lights used as instructed—and will treat your home with the same TLC as I would my own. I’m prepared for emergencies and stay calm and level-headed, contacting you and your vet (if needed) to ensure your pet gets prompt attention. About: I’ve watched peoples houses and lovely pets for years, and this is my first dip into Rover! I have experience with big dogs including American Akitas and Huskies, and I love watching cats, too! I have two of my own. I would love to get to know your pet! I’m currently in between jobs, which just means I can dedicate all my time into caring for your pet! We can work out a schedule that makes everyone happy. I know that a pets environment is so important. I always check all their water and food bowls or litter boxes. Even if it’s automatic, I make a point to check and/or clean it every time! And as the owner of a bolter, I know being careful when opening the door is big! You can trust that your pet will be safe with me.

Amy was absolutely amazing watching my two Chihuahuas while I was out of town. I get very nervous leaving them, especially since one of mine can be reactive with other dogs, but she made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. The dogs were so happy and relaxed when I got home — honestly, it was like I never even left. She went above and beyond, and I truly appreciated the daily updates and pictures while I was away. Cheyanne did an excellent job caring for our dog, Atlas. This was her first time watching him, and he is not an easy dog. He requires medication at specific times and can be anxious, so we were looking for someone attentive and reliable. Cheyanne exceeded our expectations. She was highly communicative throughout, provided consistent updates and pictures, and was very observant, even flagging something she noticed on his body. It was clear she genuinely spent quality time with Atlas, keeping him comfortable, taking him on long walks, and giving him plenty of attention. Overall, a very positive experience. We would absolutely trust Cheyanne to watch Atlas again and highly recommend her to others.

Anastasia was amazing with our puppy and her puppy quirks! She spent lots of tine with her making sure she had playtime, walks, and puzzles! Despite our puppy taking up lots of attention, Anastasia also ensured our cat got tons of attention as well. Our home was clean upon our return and both pets were happy and healthy!
