About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for animals. My family has had a mix of big and small dogs such as Labs, Rottweilers, Chow Chows and Shelties. We currently have a chihuahua mix and a 3-legged jack Russell. I have experience watching and caring for many of my family members’ and friends’ dogs throughout the years. I’ve also helped my mom take care of cats frequently, so I’m comfortable around both dogs and cats. I understand how important it is to make sure pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I currently work full time remotely. My hours vary from 7-3 or 12-8 depending on the month. Due to being fully remote, watching pets would fit great with my schedule. I currently do not have any pets living with me due to my recent move. However, I frequently take care of my 2 dogs back home. I make sure that they are let out every 2-3 hours and walked at least once a day depending on the weather. They are also fed at the same time everyday to ensure consistency. I make sure to follow any rules set by the owner regarding the animal as well.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire 23 years, so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I currently have a border collie and a cat, which keeps me experienced with both high-energy dogs and independent kitties. I treat every pet like my own, with patience, attention, and lots of love. I’m currently working a hybrid job, so I only have to go into the office twice a week. So I have lots of extra time to take care of other animals! I live in an apartment with a dog park on my floor. My two anxious, always-by-my-side cattle dogs (y’all cattle dog people know what I mean) didn’t have a safe place to stay while I was looking at places, though. I very last minute requested a few hours of daycare and Alexa saved the day! Her boyfriend was so patient and understanding while I was dropping off my dogs. They’re trying to act tough, alligator rolling, just being an embarrassment and he calmly worked with them to get them inside. About: I take care of your pets like they're my own! I know that leaving your pet is hard on both you and them, so I do my best to make the distance easier for both of you in whatever way I can. I've been taking care of animals for about 17 years on and off but, in the last year I have been doing in-home pet sitting full time through TrustedHousesitters. Overall though, I hope to be able to step in and give your pet the love and attention they need while you're away! My daily schedule is very flexible and generally revolves around the animals I'm watching. I always do my best to keep them on their regular schedule so it's a smooth transition from pet parent to me and back. I am more than happy to go by any rules or routines you may have for your animal or your in-home guests.
