“Amber check in with our 2 cats for about a week when we were out of state. She was very responsive and took great care of our cats, even gave them outside time in their balcony and kept their litter box area super clean. Would highly recommend amber and will rebook again in the future.”

“Savy helped us to take care of our dog Baguira, she played and spent time with her, shared pictures and concerns with us to make sure she was ok, she even took care of couple of accidents our dog had, our dog was very happy around her and we'll be happy to contact Savy again when needed.”

“Joy was amazing to work with! She kept us updated daily on our fur baby and sent lots of pictures. Joy also contacted us on the 4th of July to see if she could help turn on fans to drown out some of the fireworks noise! We super appreciated her just checking in and thinking outside the box when we didn't! We will definitely use her in the future!”

About: There's lots of great sitters on this app. What's sets me apart is the Communication friendliness and willing to serve your pets needs. Older pet? slower more controlled walks .husky more energetic walks. Puppy more training walks. Also meeting other pet owners is great. I'm currently at home, so I have more time on my hands for my pets and walking and pet sitting. I'm available more times in the day than possibly other pets sitters.. Normal feeding times/ walking/bathing.if.needed teeth cleaning attention and love. Would also want to get the pets health insurance information just in case if anything happens.

“Megan was so wonderful, our kitty came out of his shell and decided to socialize with her. Couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you for taking care of our baby while we were away!”

About: My weekend availability starts on Fridays at 6pm. ☺️ I am a certified dog walker and I have fostered dogs, volunteered during pet adoptions, and dogsat for many friends and now Rover clients. I am able to calm aggressive dogs by showing them love first. I have this way of saying “Hello!!” to every dog I meet and even typically reactive dogs would be like, “Oh yeah… don’t I know you from somewhere?” Every dog wants to be my best friend. If I’m at a party, I can be found with the dog. When people say, “I hope my dog doesn’t bother you,” I hope it does. I insist on the dog bothering me. 🤗 I have experience with dogs of all sizes, from chihuahuas, to dachshunds, to Australian Shepherds, to German Shepherds, to pit bulls. Plenty of pit bull and dachshund experience, as I grew up with dachshunds and have dogsat many pit bulls as well as had a pit bull chiweenie as a pet. I like to walk 2 miles a day when the weather permits, so your dog will be well-exercised if they can handle it and want it. I am also able to provide calm vibes for dogs that need that. Your dog’s needs will be met! If they’re a dog where you’re not allowed to stop petting them, they will get all the pets. 🥰 I work Tuesday through Friday from 7am - 5:30pm. I am available any time outside of those hours. I have holidays off, so I am available all day on a holiday. I can dog walk/do drop-ins on weekday evenings, or pet sit over the weekend, starting around 6pm on Friday, depending on where you live. I currently play softball on Sunday afternoons or evenings, so if I’m staying until Monday, I will be gone on Sunday for 3-4 hours. Any time I leave for a few hours I make sure to walk the dog(s) or let them out before I leave and as soon as I get back if they need it again. If you come back on a Sunday I will need to leave between 3-6pm depending on when my game is. If that is a barrier for you booking, we can also discuss me maybe missing a game as we do have plenty in the summer! If I am pet sitting, your pet will be my priority. I respect others' house rules with pets, and house rules for myself. I have glowing reviews on Airbnb because I always clean up after myself and leave the place as if I was never there. If you don't want your pets sleeping on a bed or jumping on furniture, I will ensure that doesn't happen. If you need me to crate a dog while I am out, I can do that. I am open to any kind of care you're needing. I am also open to any needs your pet might need emotionally... pets, cuddles at night, calming music, Milo and Otis or Flow on the TV, I got you! :)

About: I have had and cared for dogs since I was 13. As an adult, I have had jobs in two different doggy daycare/boarding business and was an operations manager for one of them. The training I've had at the 2nd place was so extensive, I had to watch hours of dog behavior videos to learn dog body language. I have experience in caring for puppies all the way up to senior dogs and I even have experience with dogs that need medication and/or special diets. A little bit about me, I am a mother of 3 older teenage boys and have a 2 year old mini Aussie furbaby. I have always loved nature and started taking up walking this year. A pup by my side makes it so much better! I currently work 4 hours a day at a clinic Tues-Fri and free for the rest of the day. I have Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays off, so my hours are pretty open those days. *NOTE* I do have to work the first Saturday of every month for the clinic, so I don't have as much time on those Saturdays. I always follow instructions to the letter! A healthy dog is a happy dog. I can also help with keeping up on any training you are working on. Consistency is key!

“Tamar is very sweet and professional. You can see right away that animals would come to her, building trust easily. She took the written instructions I had for her, handling Lucas' care flawlessly. Thank you! 😊”

About: I have owned a wide variety of pets my whole life and had my own "pet business" as a middle schooler caring for the pets and farm animals of many neighbors and family friends. I was a 4-H kid in middle school and have extensive knowledge of animal husbandry for a wide variety of animals, I also have experience as a dog trainer and worked in several different veterinary clinics throughout my 20's (technician assistant, physiotherapy technician, and receptionist). I have extensive experience with taking care of special needs animals and am able to help with both geriatric and post-surgical dogs and cats. I've raised several puppies as my own pets throughout my adult life, have experience raising kittens and baby bunnies, and have even rehabilitating animals. I would love to help provide the best care possible for your furry family members, whether that be regular help with walks, or making sure they stay happy, healthy, and entertained while youre away on vacation for the summer. 😊☀️ I am only employed part-time currently, working 21 hours a month, so I have very open availability. I am a very active person and love to hike regularly. I do have a family comprised of my long-time (17 years) partner and our 12-year old son, as well as our dog (Freya), cat (Farrukh), and our fish as well as our menagerie of plants. I do "At Home" pet care, as I rent my current home and am unable to host other pets. I am able to provide basic medical care, I can help with exercises and care for pets recovering from a pretty wide variety of surgeries, I can assist with puppy training, and I've even worked in a veterinary surgery and cancer specialty clinic and can provide some basic care for a wide variety of needs.

Somerset West pet parents share their Rover experiences
Savi was wonderful taking care of my kitty while we were gone for 3 weeks! She spent extra time cuddling her and comforting her. She sent pictures each time she went to care for her and followed all of my requests. She also cleaned up a mess that she made and was so kind. Communication was perfect! I will definitely book Savi again for all future kitty or dog needs.

Alice was taking care of my two kitties as her own for two weeks. She went above and beyond with her care as she never missed sending cute pictures of the kitties along with the reports. I came home to healthy and happy babies. Thank you for everything, Alice!

Alejandra is the best! She is attentive, dependable and professional. I have used her services many times over the past several years. She is always communicative and prompt. My family and my cats trust her completely and we all love that she has become part of our family. She is a blessing!

Courtney took excellent care of our cat while we were gone, and made sure she had everything she needed. This was the longest we have left our cat before, and Courtney made sure our cat was comfortable while we were gone. We are very appreciative, and would definitely book her again.

Guli was amazing with our dogs! Both dogs loved her and she was so good with them. I couldn’t say enough positive things about my experience! We have a little puppy and a one year old dog and Guli accommodated both of them. You can trust her with your babies and couldn’t find a better person!
