About: I have had and cared for dogs since I was 13. As an adult, I have had jobs in two different doggy daycare/boarding business and was an operations manager for one of them. The training I've had at the 2nd place was so extensive, I had to watch hours of dog behavior videos to learn dog body language. I have experience in caring for puppies all the way up to senior dogs and I even have experience with dogs that need medication and/or special diets. A little bit about me, I am a mother of 3 older teenage boys and have a 2 year old mini Aussie furbaby. I have always loved nature and started taking up walking this year. A pup by my side makes it so much better! I currently work 4 hours a day at a clinic Tues-Fri and free for the rest of the day. I have Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays off, so my hours are pretty open those days. *NOTE* I do have to work the first Saturday of every month for the clinic, so I don't have as much time on those Saturdays. I always follow instructions to the letter! A healthy dog is a happy dog. I can also help with keeping up on any training you are working on. Consistency is key!

I'm known to be pretty laid-back and I try to be as flexible, understanding and empathetic as I can. And yeah sometimes you're going to catch me talking to your animal like it's a human, it happens 🤷🏻‍♀️ I see my role as a person who cares for pets as a vital contribution to enhancing the lives of cats and dogs in all types of living environments, and I strive to ensure energetic pets get plenty of exercise and the lazier ones get plenty of cuddles and attention. Additionally, I see it as my responsibility to clean up during/after walks as this is part of my commitment to minimizing public health risks. I’m totally fine with big dogs that tug or react while on the leash, as long as their behavior comes from a playful spirit! I walk around my neighborhood every day to unwind, feel safe, and stay in touch with my community. About: Hello! My name is Heather and I have been an animal-lover/pet owner for over 30 years. I currently am a teacher who’s teaching remotely due to covid19, so I’m home all day! I have a corgi puppy who’s so happy I’m home now! We go for multiple daily walks, but other than that, I’ve been strictly self quarantining. My partner and our three daughters all LOVE animals, so your furbaby will receive lots of snuggles <3 I used to work in a kennel where I cared for, cleaned, fed and played with all different breeds of cats and dogs. The love of my life was an English Mastiff I had for over 12 years. Now, I have a corgi who has lots of energy and loves to play! I own my own home with a fully fenced, level backyard. I also have a sectional sofa, just waiting for more pups to lay on it. I’m currently a teacher on summer break with lots of extra time! I’m available daily-mornings, afternoons and evenings. Let me know your needs to see if it’s a good fit. Your pet is my number one priority. I will ensure their safety at all times, giving them ample love and attention. If your pet stays with me, I have a fully fenced larger backyard for them to roam.
