“This is the first time we had Joy come and stay with our dogs while we were out of the country. First of all she was available to stay at our house through Christmas Day. When she came to meet the dogs, Waldo, our reserved Australian shepherd, jumped up in her lap. She was great at communicating and sent lots of pictures. The dogs were happy to see us when we got home but the JRT kept looking for her in the guest room. She washed towels and sheets and remade the bed! We will definitely use Joy again. Pretty much perfect Rover experience.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have personally had 3 of my own. Over the years I have learned to read their body language and interpret their needs. I started dog sitting about 10years ago and became proficient at following the care instructions left by their parents/owners. So much so that I volunteered to be a puppy parent for Paws for Purple Hearts where I went through intensive training on how to care for dogs trained to be service animals. I was assigned Schatzie, a loving black lab. I took her to school every day and picked her up, followed instructions on how to care for her and how to reinforce her training at home. She was in line to become a service dog so as part of my care I took her everywhere with me, including work, the movies, the grocery store, etc. My point is I took my service very seriously and am happy to meet the needs of your furry companion as well. Being away from home and your furry companion is not easy. With me you can rest assured that both are being taken care of with the utmost respect and thoughtfulness. Always happy to answer any questions and make sure I am the best fit for your pet sitting needs! I currently work from home and have the time to take care of your pet(s). Especially if you book with a little time in advance I can shift my schedule to meet your pet’s needs. For all services I prefer to have a meet and greet beforehand to make your pet feel comfortable around me so that they recognize me when I stop by for their care. For pet care in your home, I am available to either stay late night and come back early morning OR sleepover based on client preference and can follow care instructions to a T.

About: I’ve worked with and volunteered at humane societies since I was a kid. I’ve had pets my whole life and have learned how to read their body language rather well. I’ve trained dogs since I was around 10, training neighbor dogs as well as my own. I’ve worked with mainly large and XL dogs so I’m able to handle them rather well. I don’t currently have a job, but I’m getting a part time job soon. So I’ll be updating my availability once I get a job. For now, I’m available all day, every day. I don’t have the room at the moment to board any animals at my home, but I’m more than willing to spend the night at a client’s house if that works for you. If you have any certain rules or requirements for your pet, I will make sure to follow them precisely if I’m provided a list.

About: For the past 6 years or so, I have been trusted to take care of family and family friends' animals while they are on vacation, leaving them worry-free knowing that their beloved fur babies are well taken care of and comfortable. I also have cared for senior dogs and have no problems accommodating their needs to make them as comfortable and happy as possible. I'm currently working from home, so I will always be here with the pets and can keep them entertained throughout the day. My schedule is pretty open, and I have no problem working the pets that I am sitting into my schedule if something comes up. I have a massive yard at home with plenty of room to run around and explore, lots of toys too, so there is always something for them to do, and giving them their own little vacation away from home. Being in the client's home is even better, allowing the pets to be in a familiar place while also having a new friend to play with. Following a set schedule with feeding and activity is something that I love to stick to; this keeps everyone as happy as possible.

About: I have owned various animals growing up all my life, especially dogs of all different sizes. I have always had a passion and love for animals. I am currently a Veterinary Technician for the US Army. It’s been my dream to help any four footed friend out. I am trained to perform first aid for your dog/cat and have very great referrals to many great vets on the military installations in the area. It doesn’t matter the size of the dog, I am trained with all and have been around many different breeds. I have no preference toward the dogs breed/weight/personality/etc. I can work with various pets. I work full time, but only 3-4 long days. My significant other also works from 6-1 so he would be home after lunch. The days I’m off, I’m home doing school work on my computer and just hanging out. I have 2 cats myself to keep your fur baby some company. If that’s a problem, they can easily be put in the other room away from your pet.
