I had a complicated batch of furbabies and instructions because I recently adopted a new dog and there was a pack and territory element that added to an already complex mix of senior dogs in the pack with young dogs in the pack. He and his partner Julie handled it wonderfully! In this case an extended meet and greet was wnjoyable with them both, but gave them the opportunity to observe and understand the behaviors and personalities of each furbaby. So, by the time the drop ins started he and Julie were well prepared. When I came back, my babies were peaceful and got along well. HIGHLY recommend!”

About: Hello there! I'm Daniel. My love for animals began as far back as I can remember, and I’ve dedicated my life to caring for them—from dogs and cats to smaller pets and even insects. With 15 years of experience, I'm currently studying canine and feline ethology. I can offer basic grooming too (extra service) and am certified in pet CPR. My wife is also an approved caregiver, so your pet gets twice the love for the price of one. I'm glad to be here for you, as a helping and trusted hand! I work Monday through Friday, but I’m available after 2:30pm every weekday. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m fully available. Overnights aren’t a problem either — there is always somebody at home and can handle morning meetings, so your pets are cared for around the clock! In our home, pets are treated like family. We’ve got two friendly cats who are used to visitors, a pet playground in our community, and a cozy balcony set up with water, toys, and a fan so they can relax. My wife, my son, and I all share the care — my wife has a natural love for animals, and even my homeschooled son has learned empathy and responsibility through caring for them. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine closely — feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddles — just the way y’all would do it yourselves. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and at home, whether they’re staying with us or I’m looking after them in their own space.

At 16, I finally got the chance to own dogs, and I’ve cared for and trained both since they were puppies. About: Hi there! I'm Andrea and I'm a proud Fur Mama of Chiko, a Chihuahua Mix who is still a feisty 15 year old baby. My second baby, Duke, passed away earlier this year and we miss him so much. I would love to help you care for your furry loved ones if needed while you are away from home. I know how it feels being away from home for a long while & wanting nothing more than to rush home to those excited, wagging tails. If you choose me to help care for your fur baby, I would love to do a meet and greet so that you & your pet feel comfortable with me. My experience is mostly with smaller breeds, but have no problems meeting larger, well trained dogs, keeping them company and providing much needed play time. I look forward to being a new, friendly caretaker for you and your pet! I do work full-time during the week, so I am available in the evenings and/or weekends depending on availability. I am also a night owl so if you need assistance in the late evenings, I'm more than happy to help! My dog is free to roam around our home and we have a doggy door for him to run in/out of house throughout the day. We have a decent size yard and a few steps going down from our back porch that our dog is still able to climb without much difficulty. But Chiko does utilize steps to get up and down furniture in our home.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for over 7 years, in many different locations. I've always had a pet, both growing up and now, both cats and dogs. I've also lived on a farm so worked with all kinds of animals. I am currently stationed at Lackland and work during the week. I will be available in the evenings and on the weekends. And can housesit if you live near Lackland. I love walking and playing with dogs, especially when it's cooler out. It's always a win to me when they're exhausted and just want to sleep when they get back into the house. I can take your dog for a walk, depending on the weather of course (I will never make a dog walk when it's super hot out), I let them out in the yard if it is too hot. I will make sure to follow the rules of your home with your pet, whether it be crate for bed or allowed on furniture. I will make sure to give attention to your animals while I'm at your home, lots of love and cuddling and playing.

About: Hello! Ive cared and owned dogs since I was young. From shitzu to boxers and everything in between. I currently have an Aussie pup and we have done many types of training together I really have learned alot and enjoyed building my bond with. I want to extend my time to others and help give alittle extra love to their own furbabies! It has been a constant struggle finding reliable daycare and boarding for my pup so I want to extend my home to those who need it too! I require all dogs to be crate trained as our days will be full of structure and desiganted play times. If I feel dogs would get along with My personal pup, I will let them interact, but that's on a case by case. Full doggy daycare available Saturday and Sundays if you need a day to rest or do errands! I work full time during the week, but can leave during the day for potty and exercise breaks. On weekend I'm home all day and your pups will have plenty of enrichment and play time. My husband works from home and will assist with potty breaks as needed. My yard is fully fenced. And will not be let out unsupervised. Making sure they stay in designated area and don't try dig or breakthrough barriers.
